Ah, there it was. Whitewolf's attempted deliverance of justice. He rolled his shoulders as she spoke, and rose to his paws when she finished. Of course she would not tell the whole story, but how could she when she refused to understand it? It was baffling. And as Thunderchaser directed her angry toward him, he gave her a dismissive glance before looking away.

"You act as if I intended to hide this," he started with a shrug. "I would have told Eveningstar had he been here - I have done nothing wrong and in turn have nothing to hide. But if you believe an explanation is needed, that is fine. Whitewolf tells not the whole truth, after all.

Some of you seem to have forgotten that Lionstorm murdered four of our cats in cold blood. There is a balance of life in this world and it is StarClan's job to keep that balance, but of course, they cannot always keep up with the goings-on of the living world. And so some of us must take it into our own paws to help them along. In this case, it was I who took it upon myself.

Whitewolf tells you that I was merciless, but that could not be more false. If I had wanted to withhold mercy, I would have made her suffer. She died instantly. Lionstorm killed four of us - with he and Petuniaflame's lives, the balance is half-way restored." He spoke in a monotone voice, his expression displaying disinterest, as if this bored him.

"Of course it pained me to take the life of such a young cat, but she chose her fate, and the stars have given her a place in the brightest spot in the sky in honor of her sacrifice. They will do the same for the others." And there would be others. Two more, in fact. And then his job would be done.

He sat down, explanation finished. Stars, he hated speaking that much. It made him sound like some sort of pretentious fool.

She sighed.She stood back up and went towards him even more. You must be out of your god damn mind! She growled after the words shot from her mouth. You killed a helpless warrior. That point needs to said again. Because you cant hear! She couldn't help but feeling as though she wanted to slap him into next moon. What a trashy ass cat. How could anyone be such an idiot. They clearly showed no signs that they were going to attack you.I will always trust whitewolfs words over yours.Thunder wasn't having.

You better explain yourself without lying. Because I swear to starclan. You.Will.Pay. She growled louder. She looked at the medicine cat and then towards whitewolf then back at the traitor. You will always be a traitor in my eyes. It pained her that thunderchaser couldn't punch him. He was a traitor. And once your a traitor you are always one.

But now that Eveningstar is missing, I can't hope for me becoming an apprentice anytime soon." The large kit said, with a saddened look on his face when he mentioned Buckstar. "I miss him you know, Buckstar. He was the one to welcome me into the clan other than my mother." Fiercekit looked down at his paws as he said this.

Goodness gracious, it seemed there where a few someones who needed to go lay in the shade and relax for a bit. The green-leaf heat seemed to be getting to them. The white tom quirked an eyebrow at Whitewolf, ignoring her fearsome expression. "I have broken no oaths. The warrior code states that one must not kill in order to win a battle. Seeing as there was no battle, the oath I took still stands."

He then turned to Thunderchaser, looked her up and down. "I did not survive this long by lying," he stated simply.

It had begun with a story--the truth from the perspective of one--something that seemed to gradually change the way ThunderClan as a whole saw RiverClan. Whitewolf expected some of her clanmates to see her as RiverClan sympathizers; she welcomed that sentiment, in fact. She'd been a loyal ThunderClan Warrior for several years--they could try her all they wanted.

It didn't surprise her to learn that Albatrossflare had learned nothing from killing Petuniaflame. And what was that last sentence? Did he seriously plan to kill more of them? Her muzzle contorting in fury, Whitewolf rounded on him with her teeth bared.

"The act of killing an innocent cat is merciless in of itself," spat Whitewolf. As she spoke she normally would have realized how she looked to the rest of ThunderClan when provoked--a massive, bristling beast--but the anger clouding her mind made her forget herself. "You are a murderer, Albatrossflare, and an oathbreaker. Your own words condemn you better than I or Icicleripple ever could."

Standing firm, she looked to Icicleripple. "You're fortunate that your punishment is out of my paws."

“I have just the suggestion! Trap him, starve him, give him no water. Make his death as long and painful as possible. Make sure nobody sees him and claw him everyday until he dies. A cat like him deserves about as much mercy as he gave Petuniaflame.” He said, half gleeful and half disgusted. “Pretty good, huh?” He asked Icicleripple.

Blueberrykit looked in confusion,” What if he’s hiding something, maybe Whitewolf has some grudge against him and is making this up and and and she actually killed the Riverclanner. For all we know she-she threatened to do something to to-to-to something or someone he cares dearly for and is kind of leaving him no choice but to claim he did it when he-he-he actually didn’t kill the Riverclanner. ” she asked her legs trembling a bit as she spoke up a bit to suggest that, she wasn’t too sure how well that would go, but she didn’t really know either of them that much. And frankly Whitewolf was much bigger and scarier looking to her than Albatrossflare was and therefore was more likely to betray Thunderclan in her mind. @OhZeeWolf

everything was okay for the most part, until icicleripple announced that the big cat that let them join - eveningstar - was missing, and so was sunhowl, another big cat. that was already bad enough, but that prophecy she decided to announce? sagekit felt a pit growing in their stomach, gladly stepping behind cloverkit and huddling close to rosekit.

"this...ohh..guys.." they whispered, ears twitching at the mention of other cats and murder. murder! and the big cat named albatrossflare was a murderer, and apparently some other cat wanted to starve him. they were pretty sure that pit in their stomach was making them nauseous, shaking ever so slightly.

this was terrible. they knew they should've thought about consequences of joining a clan with so many other cats - would they be seen as a bit of a coward? yes! but that was fine. they raised a paw, tapping cloverkit. "maybe- maybe, uh, we should leave? I mean..do..we, really need to stay? there's a lot of bad things..going...on.." they suggested, looking over to rosekit. "right?"

No one was telling Cloverkit on what was happening. They knew something was going on. Rosekit wouldn't even.. touch them. Sagekit was practically trembling. They wanted to help their siblings but they couldn't shake the dread filling their limbs. They turned around, giving Sagekit and Rosekit a reassuring nudge with their nose.. "It's -- it's okay!" Cloverkit meowed, offering a strained smile. They could get answers later.

"We can't.. leave. It's -- we just.. we just came at a bad time, okay?" They pleaded softly. They wouldn't make it alive out there! Cloverkit.. they couldn't take care of Rose and Sage properly. They knew that. That's why they had to stay here. Even if it meant dealing with the chaos and their stupid names."Let's just.. let's just go back to the.. nursery! We can play that uhm, mossgame while everything cools down. Yeah, yeah. Let's do that, " Cloverkit nodded, rising to their paws.

Moonstep looked as she hered the news she tiled her ears abit as she herd all the other clanmates, she then laied down listening around her as she looked abit worried she wanted to help out as much as she could but turthfuly didnt know how
