Branchkit snorted. "You could try." he let out a yawn. Greykit looked at the apprentice then she recognized her. "Mousepaw?" her voice was shaking. Thornkit nodded at Mousepaw. "Sorry for our mouse-brained brother.." he nudged Branchkit to his paws.

Mousepaw glared at the kit who decided to try his luck with her but her attention was quickly grabbed by the other, more nervous sounding kit who seemed to recognize her. She stared at her for a moment but she couldn't remember who she was though she did look vaguely familiar "Umm it's no problem, I'm sorry but who are you all?

"I'm Branchkit and those two are Thornkit and Greykit." Branchkit pointed at Thornkit than Greykit. Greykit looked at her paws.

Waterheart scanned the clearing to keep an eye on any kits that had left the nursery. She would always sit and count all the kits that ran past her. and she knew how many there were in the nursery. Waterheart didn't have her own kits, but there were a group of siblings she adored and cared for a little too much.

Waterheart looked at Branchkit with a growl. The queen got between Branchkit and his siblings and looked at Branchkit with anger in her yes. "We don't keep our claws unsheathed here. In fact we don't do that anywhere unless there's a battle. You hurt your sister!", she meowed, raising her voice, but kept the gentleness in her eyes to show him he cared about him.
