Featherkit yawned, clearly tired now. She yawned again and curled up with Meadowkit, falling asleep.

Mistfire focused intently on the meeting sort of ignoring her kits but still keeping an eye on them so they wouldn't get in trouble as they played, soft fur rippling in the cold autumn breeze she just wanted to get this meeting over and her kits into bed but it would be important to listen.

Oh and now the new high ranks...Larkwing? So the young warrior would be deputy...hmm and interesting choice though inexperienced seemed like a responsible cat and she hoped that she would live up to being in such an important role.

Now the medicine cats Falconfeather and Tansypaw...young as well...but hopefully reliable and worthy the grey queen wouldn't doubt Gingerfro- ah Gingerstar rather but she was concerned about the stableness of the clan and her worries grew by what her leader said next.

"W-What...did he just say...?"she thought shocked at the ginger tom's words, he only had two lives...a shiver of fear went down her spine at the realisation...Starclan...wanted him to earn them...WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO TO DESERVE THIS?! Anger surged through her wiping away her shock as she dug her claws hard into the ground before her brief and silent outburst ended and transformed into sorrow instead.

Glancing down at her kits again she saw they had fallen asleep, heartbreak striked her...her kits...she had lost so much...how could she know they would be safe? Giving a small nod at Gingerstar's words her attention didn't stay on him for long.

Slowly Mistfire reached down and gently grabbed Meadowkit by the scruff and tried placing her on her back before reaching for Featherkit and carefully holding her in her jaws and silently started padding off to the nursery casting a single solem look over her shoulder before moving her warm amber gaze back to the entrance of the nursery again.

Featherkit slept soundly, not protesting when Mistfire moved her. She lay on Mistfire's back peacefully all the way to the nursery.
