Okay.. so they were both not certain what was happening. Wow, that makes so much more sense. Berrysky almost rolled over when they thought that. Sarcasm? Were they defaulting to that now? Was that how this was gonna roll? "Want to just.. be here?" they asked carefully. "I mean.. if you're okay with me lying on top of you." They laughed - and it was like clearing their head.

Sparklight wasn't quite sure what to do. So she just sat there, with some other cat laying on top of her, talking about some weird feeling they were both experiencing. And then Berrysky broke the silence. "We are," the ginger tabby agreed. "And I'm not trying to insult you either." And then the cat asked about just staying there, and the molly nodded. "It's fine," she replied, laying her head down on Berrysky's back.

What was going on? The only time she had felt remotely close to this way was when she had spoken to that Gleampelt, and that was different. Sparklight had liked her, sure, but this... This was different. But also the same. What was wrong with her?

"I don't know what's going on, but we'll figure this out together."

Briarpaw padded out of the apprentice's den, stretching her hind legs as she blinked the last of her afternoon nap out of her eyes. Her ear flicked as she padded to the fresh-kill pile, because she was hungry. And you couldn't have fun or train without a full stomach. And if you did it without eating anyways, it wouldn't be very enjoyable. She picked up a small yet juicy vole and started eating.

Embershadow entered the camp, a squirrel and a mouse clasped in his jaws. Padding over to the fresh-kill pile, he dropped them on top. Lately, he'd been doing solo hunting patrols to try and make up for the lack of warriors in camp. Someone had to keep the Clan fed.
He selected a finch and laid down, nodding to the other cat sitting around the pile. "Hey, Briarpaw," he greeted her.

Briarpaw looked up for a moment from her meal when she heard a small noise. A warrior dropping off prey, nothing big. She was pretty sure his name was Embershadow. That sounded right in her mind. She flicked her ear in response, taking another bite of her vole. She'd eaten so many of the small rodents, but she never got tired of the flavor. It wasn't like voles were her absolute favorite, but they did taste good. @MooingPanda

Embershadow chewed thoughtfully. He wondered if everybody in the Clan was excited about taking over WindClans territory. But, if he sounded like he disagreed, this cat could report him to Dawnstar. "How's training going?" he asked instead. He had never talked to Briarpaw before and had no idea who her mentor was. He didn't really pay attention to younger cats.

Embershadow seemed deep in thought to her. She would recognize that look anywhere. Briarpaw waited until he seemed to come back to ShadowClan, wiping her whiskers clean with her tongue. “It’s good,” she mewed. How was she supposed to answer to a question like that? Besides, she was learning stuff, so that had to be good. But how was she supposed to get a conversation started with a warrior who only asked her how her training was going? @MooingPanda

He nodded. After a moment, he blurted out, "Why aren't you in WindClan right now? I'm surprised you don't want to be a part of something like that." Embershadow regretted saying the words as soon as he said them. Until he found out which side this apprentice was on, he would have to tread carefully.

pacing back and forth Thorn'Claw lashed his tail in annoyance. Apparently he was no longer allowed on the moor, and Dawn'star had changed his name to 'Thorn'paw '.... Curling his lip in disgust he clawed at the dirt in a fit a rage. He was not having it. sitting down with a deep growl he tried his best to cool off. Maybe he should go to wc territory just to be a nuisance. That sounded like a better idea than wallowing around camp all day...

Hardly acknowledging the kit he pulled his tail closer to his body, "Don't u have someone else to bother?" Thorn'Claw muttered with a scowl. The tom wasn't in the mood for some pesky kit to make his day worse. Hunching his shoulders he tapped his claws in the dirt trying to get back to his train of pointless thoughts.
