"Whiteriver taught me my first hunting crouch, and then I caught a finch on my first try!" they loudly meowed, tail flicking in pride.

Nightshine sat in the nursery groom Whitekit. The queen was worried about her kit, because if Nightshine tryed talking to them, Whitekit wouldn't respond. She would have to see the med cat soon, about Whitekit. It might be serious. She suspected Whitekit was deaf, but didn't know. She'd have to seek med cat advice on that. Her tail flicked nervously. What if Whitekit was deaf? How would she keep him out of trouble? Would the other kits tease him? Nightshine's fur ruffled in worry for her kit.
Whitekit-3 moons
Whitekit could feel his mother's tongue grooming him. He could see the other kits playing. They seemed to be moving their mouths, which confused Whitekit. Couldn't they notice that it wasn't worth it? Why move your mouth for no reason? He also wondered why his mom seemed so worried. He nussled her.
Nightshine- 24 moons
Whitekit nussled Nightshine. The queen's heart warmed. Whitekit was so loving. Even if he was deaf, he was the most perfect kit in the world, Nightshine thought.

Copperpaw felt their fur prickle. First there were only two kit but now.. four? "I must just be very popular!" they assured themselves with a flicker of pride. These kits will know their greatness and when the times comes, become their apprentice. Speaking of teaching a kit.. "Instead of another story... how about I teach you guys how to do a hunters crouch?" They meowed. They only got a little lesson about hunting and they did have beinginners luck.. but they know the right way to crouch!
