“Yes, a herb patrol. Personally, I don’t know much about herbs but Lionstar said to take any flowers we find! We are supposed to be going to the Cattail Pond. Hopefully there won’t be any herons trying to take revenge on us.” Splashfury smiled as she padded in the direction of the Cattail Pond and glanced back on her apprentice.

Coastpaw widened his eyes slightly at that. "That's new! Sounds pretty easy enough." Seemed like a relaxing activity, picking flowers and whatever else plants they thought could be herbs. He laughed at her last statement, shaking his head. "Yeah, let's hope. Though, with your record, all herons should be terrified of you!" The apprentice followed her mentor toward the cattail pond, smiling.

Brightpaw had never seen her mentor, even when she was first made an apprentice. This wasn't her fault, as she had looked for Tigersnap repeatedly. If my mentor isn't going to train me, then I guess I'll just go alone! No, no, that's a bad idea. I've never been out. I'll just get lost.
She would wait a little longer for Tigersnap, and if he didn't show, she would just go to Lionstar.

Berryscorch perked her ears up as Lionstar called out all the patrols. Oh gosh that was a lot. She was placed on a border patrol, which was nothing new. She'd been on two before. But this time, there were a few things which were a bit different. This time, she was a warrior, and also the one leading the patrol. No having to wait around for a slow mentor here. "Snowfern! Echostream! Let's get a move on. I won't be waiting for you." Without another word, the molly turned and strolled straight out of camp, headed for Smallpines, expecting the other two patrol members would soon be on her trail.

Echostream raced after Berryscorch and followed her to Smallpines. She became a warrior and now she was a part of a patrol. If she was an apprentice, she would be feeling very excited but she wan no longer like that as she started to mature. If there were any dangers on the way, she would be prepared to fight whatever the was.

Grizzlybug’s voice startled the young cat, and he abandoned his mostly eaten carp. Ooh, he had just discovered the yummy fish and it was so good. Honestly, he didn’t know how some cats only survived off of land prey. Fish was so much better! Licking his lips, Beanpaw asked, "Where we going?" happily, in a good mood.

Ripplepaw was enjoying her time in the clearing, making shapes in the grainy ground with a claw as she watched the goings on in the clearing. The normally loud little apprentice was being awfully quiet, but that was because she was watching. And listening. Now, Ripplepaw didn't mean to eavesdrop, but she did enjoy watching social cues and picking up on them. She was pretty good at it. And words well... if they were close enough to her, they just came with her observing. So Ripplepaw wouldn't call it eavesdropping... more like learning some new facts about her clanmates. Which was a good thing. Continuing her line in the dirt, Ripplepaw flicked her ears towards a new direction, trying to pick up a new conversation. The one she had been listening to had gotten quite.... boring to say the least.

Ripplepaw listened to Lilytail's suggestion as her mentor came up beside her. And just the thought of it sparked more excitement in her. "Yes yes, sounds great!" The silver tabby exclaimed, before bending down in a mock crouch, her tail waving behind her. "Those crabs better watch out, Ripplepaw the crab-annihilator is about to come out to play!" With that the apprentice bounded towards the camp exit, far too excited to get going.
