(Hello hello! Just to let you know, it's not realistic for a kit to know how to get to ShC borders /w\ )

The Calico had been out and about, he'd heard something about Apprentices no longer being allowed to be outside of the camp by themselves but...he was...well he'd been out by himself before. So surely, there was no issue now, besides, his muscle memory was kicking in. He knew the territory like the back of his paw.

Which brought him to what was currently happening now, a kit, who by no means should have been able to escape the nursery, let alone camp, now trotting around the territory as if they wouldn't get eaten by a badger. Or picked up by a bird, or even get attacked by a goose!

Collecting himself, Foampaw trot up towards the kit, aiming to pick it up by the scruff if he could nab it. "Hey now, you'll get killed out here. C'mon back to camp before we both get in trouble."

Darkkit did not like the thought of being dragged to the leader, but she accepted her fate.
"If I don't try and break free, I won't get in as much trouble." she thought.

The Calico let out a little laugh. "You're doing a great job. C'mon let's get home. A lot less things that could kill you there."

Dapplewing closely followed Firelight as the patrol made their way out to Riverclan’s main hunting grounds. He was confident in his own hunting abilities, along with Firelight’s, but he was worried about Falconpaw, seeing as she didn’t have any training in regards to hunting quite yet. Certainly that would prove to be no issue at all, though. They could teach her!

“Falconpaw, want me to teach you how to catch fish? Or land prey, whichever you want.” The spotted tom paused, glancing towards Firelight. “Or Firelight can teach you–if she wants to, and if you want to. Either way, one of us can teach and help you hunt while the other goes and hunts their own prey.”

Falconpaw widened her eyes in surprise and Dapplewing’s words.
“I-I would love that! But is it allowed? I thought only my mentor could teach me…” Her voice trailed off, unsure. She had an embarrassing lack of knowledge of the way her clan functioned. Could other cats teach her skills her mentor was supposed to? She hoped so.
“Can you show me how to fish? That seems the most useful, since we live near near so much water. I want to be the best fish hunter in RiverClan history!” A rare flash of pride filled Falconpaw. She really wanted to be the best hunter in her clan; maybe then she could actually help instead of being dead weight.

Wormbite blinked slowly as Gingerfrost announced himself. "..Hello, " There was a beat of silence, before he nodded his head. Something had been decided, and his tail was gesturing for the deputy to follow. He did not wait for the other, swiftly exiting the warrior's den and heading out from the entrance. His ears were perked to listen for Gingerfrost's pawsteps, but besides that he wasn't keen on lingering in the camp. Wormbite wasn't sure he wanted to truly begin to stir the chaos anymore; but he had questions, and he had a bias. (and unfortunately, bean was the only cat he could talk to.)

"I have concerns, " Wormbite stated bluntly. "About Beansprout and Stonepaw. You were a passive deputy, " there was a swift glance, a slight narrowing of his eyes. "but you have indeed improved drastically. and i do mean that. you are doing good gingerfrost. " The Dark Lord shifted to look onward, it was nice to see a high rank make improvements. They rarely did, they would laze on their asses, and someone would have to pick up the slack.

"Hence why I am coming to you before I approach them. Stonepaw is Fawnlight's successor, and he is young.. 'Suppose there is.." He frowned. He did not have a soft spot. Never. "A bias of sorts. Beansprout also, for other reasons. Which one would you like to address first?"

Gingerfrost gave a slight hum at the greeting along with a nod; his expression turned somewhat serious as he gazed at Wormbite, a part of him wondering why the head shield suddenly called him out. Without a word, he followed Wormbite into the territory, allowing himself to walk beside the shield as they went. What this was about, Gingerfrost couldn't fathom. Not until Wormbite actually spoke up. A slight frown formed on the tabby deputy's brow at the mention of Beansprout and Stonepaw. The thing was, he trusted Wormbite's judgement. While the two had never spoken, Wormbite had always been a presence in the corner of his eye, one that did a lot for RiverClan. It'd come to a point where Gingerfrost trusted the dark lord's judgement without so much as ever communicating with him; so when the lord said he has concerns over his fellow ranks, it didn't bode well. Gingerfrost had personally chosen Beansprout for various reasons; his biggest fear being that he'd made the wrong decision.

The mentions of his own doings in his position went nearly over his head; he heard the words but they hardly registered in his mind. If you asked the him however, he'd say he still isn't doing as well as he should be doing -- still lacking in the way he does things to a point even his own son can point them out. It was good they pointed it out. But that wasn't the matter at paw. For all his thoughts, Gingerfrost appreciated that Wormbite considered him enough to approach him about this matter beforehand. As such, the dark lord had the lethargic feline's full attention.
