Lyssa followed him involuntarily; she pretty much had no say in anything after Blake came along. She would just listen to his ideas from this point onwards; they were probably better than what she would've come up with. Lyssa followed close behind Blake, almost tripping on his foot once when she got too close. "Speed it up a bit, son of Athena. We haven't got all day, and if you walk at that pace, I'll trip over you."

"You can see in this darkness?" Jay asked, allowing a little of his surprise to show in his voice as he started after Blake. He couldn't exactly see where in Hades he was going, so he was just following the shadows that were the other campers and hoping he wasn't going to trip over a root again.

"That's what I just asked," Lyssa said, looking at Jay questioningly. Lyssa continued following Blake at a brisk pace, having to stop now and then to let Blake take the lead and follow Kaia's supposed footprints. Thank the gods Blake has some good vision, apparently.

He sighed. "I saw them earlier, when there was more light. I always either looked at them or was stepping in them, because if I looked away, I'd lose the trail. Here, they're easier to see when you look straight at them." He traced the edge of the footprints.

Kaia heard three pairs of loud footsteps some ways behind, recognizing them as Jay's, Lyssa's, and Blake's. She'd made a habit of studying other people's footsteps; it was all she heard, with everyone walking away from her and such. She felt a light breeze of crisp air blow her hair left, and she quickly grabbed the flying hair and stilled it. She couldn't risk making herself visible, especially now that she knew some people were looking for her. Lyssa and Blake though.. Why are they coming along? They're part of the group of people who dislike the Hades kids, I'm pretty sure. It's all for their reputation, probably. Kaia wiped her tears quickly, trying to completely freeze herself up and become invisible. The darkness cloaked everything around her, with the thick canopy blocking out any possible light sources. Thank the heavens she had great eyesight, or else she wouldn't have been able to find such a functional hiding spot.
