Dakota shrugged, "Just...because..." they muttered. They didn't want to talk about all the times where they had been invited to things but when they turned up, they had ended up being pushed away. "Lead the way!" They said awkwardly, their crooked smile appearing for a simple second. It was confusing though, why did they invite the enby to dinner? Why did they accept? They barely knew these two! They would have to see, taking Chris's hand and pulling themselves up awkwardly.

Wyatt decided something. After Dakota stood up, he went to their side. Chris was holding Dakota's right hand so Wyatt grabbed Dakota's left. He smiled and whispered to Dakota. "You should have said no." He joked. "We're really strange people." Wyatt laughed softly. "In our house, there's thousands of books, hundreds of trophies, and a lot more stuff. Sorry if you get uncomfortable, apparently me and Chris are known for doing that." Wyatt looked away as they walked for a moment. "There's also a lot of pictures." Wyatt smiled. "Sports, dancing." He gestured to Chris. "Girlfriends, boyfriends." He nodded in general. "And some gross anatomy stuff, just try to ignore that." Wyatt let go of Kota's hand because he was getting a finger cramp, but he didn't grasp it again. He just walked beside them. After a few minutes, he walked around to his brother. "You're holding their hand again." He whispered.

Chris started walking hand and hand with Dakota. Chris listened in for a while as the two talked. He laughed at one point. His heart ached at the sound of boyfriend. But he held it together, for now at least. It came across Chris to take the pictures down, considering the two brothers weren't dating anymore, but he felt it respectful to Luke, so he didn't. As for the girlfriends, they didn't belong to Chris. As Wyatt whispered to Chris, he nodded. "I know." he whispered back. Chris was well aware that he was holding Dakota's hand this time. And he didn't intend to let go until Dakota felt uncomfortable.

They flinched when "Gross anatomy stuff" was mentioned, but did nothing else. Their anatomy as weird enough as it was, so they weren't going to judge. They kinda liked having theair hand being held. Sure, it was awkward since it was by a person they barely knew, but they still sorta liked it. They couldn't help but wonder if they were being mislead, and that sorta scared them. A couch in the middle of the room, facing the T.V.. There was a fireplace in the corner of the room, and a mantel above the T.V. with a bunch of pictures on it. The wall to right held two bookcases and a doorless doorway that held the stairs. All the way to the right wall, trophies were held on bookcases. Trophies for soccer, baseball, football, ballet, and more. Chris walked into the kitchen which also had a doorless doorway. "Do you like pasta and salad?" Chris opened the fridge and stuck his head in. He pulled it out a moment later and looked at Dakota.

Wyatt walked into the house in silence. He sat down in the middle of the couch. He patted the spot beside him. He starred at Dakota, his hand resting on the spot he had petted.

I mean, you seemed kind of uncomfortable at the park today. I can't blame you, but still I just wanted to check in on you. Wyatt hit send then laid back.

That couldn't be right, but what if it was? Slowly, they found it hard to breathe, like the walls were closing in on them. What had they done? Suddenly, Kota started Feeling light headed, and their legs gave out from under them, now placing a desperate hand against their chest, trying to feel air come out. Anxiety attack. These happened too often for them, shaking now as they desperately tried to grab air, dispite it feeling like their throat was closing in on them, forcing themselves to move enough to turn their back to Chris. Hopefully he didn't see anything, Dakota not saying anything as they desperately reached for air that was barely coming in and out.

Ellie had been working on some projects she had to do over the summer, using her phone to figure out how some things looked. She was brought to attention by a text message across her screen. She rarely got those, dispite being on her phone most of the time. I'm fine, I just thought it was time for me to leave, she texted back simply, smiling awkwardly, dispite knowing that Wyatt couldn't see it. How is he, however? He seemed pretty bad when I left she asked, hoping that Wyatt would know who she was talking about, though she knew that was probably the case.

Chris wasn't looking at Dakota, he was too busy keeping the food from burning. He glanced up for a second. "Alright." Do you have friends? Do you have "a person"? Family? Anyone? Chris knew it was all personal, so his mouth stayed shut. But he couldn't help but wonder. Chris had friends at his college. "His person" was across seas at the time being. He had Wyatt. Chris thought about the people in his life. Does Dakota have people like that? A bird flew into the dinning room window and Chris squatted in fear then rose again slowly. He looked at the doorway that lead to the dinning room. He put his attention back on the food.

Wyatt laid on his bed then flinched when his phone beeped. That was fast. He picked it up and looked at the response from Ellie. Okay. Good to know you're fine. Well, he's cooking dinner right now. So he's doing good. But he'll break down one more time tonight before it's out of his system. That's how it always happens. But he'll be fine over all. Wyatt let his thumbs dance around above the keyboard. He thought for a second. Dakota's at our house for dinner. Chris invited him. He hit send then ran down stairs. He saw Dakota as he cleared the stairs. "Whoa! Dakota! Are you okay?" Wyatt walked up to them and patted their back. "Breathe Kota, breathe." His eyes were wide and full of worry.
