Large paws silently carried the huge black tabby through the snow covered forest, their pelt standing out like a sore thumb amongst the blanket of white that surrounded them. The territory was...strangely silent. Only the sounds of snow crunching under paw met their ears, hardly even a single birds call accompanying them. Orange eyes keenly stared at the overhanging tree branches around them, searching for any signs of even a single bird. But...no, there was nothing. No birds in the trees, and no land dwelling rodents in sight. It was slightly concerning, but they could still manage. Practically every leafbare was like this, but they always managed to work through it. This time would be no different.
The tom couldn't make eye contact, but he could feel she was really wanting to talk to him. Not just to make him feel better. Nothing might not make him feel better. "I'm usually that cat, but something has changed inside of me. I do appreciate you try to care. Most cats would leave me alone. I'm used to it too.", he meowed. Not once did he look at her. It made him nervous to look at any cat of Thunderclan. Not when he had wanted to destroy them. "You wouldn't want to hear it. It's something that happened too long ago and with the leader gone its coming right back.", Wildspark added.
'other options'? well, she guessed there was the option to attack. she gave a short nod, mostly directed at having to mimic the crouch and kind of directed towards the previous statement. dropping into a basic crouch, they shifted slightly, moving their back paws and squaring their shoulders a bit. "alright," they mewed, trying to compare their position to mallardsteps. close enough. mostly. "is this good?"
~Mallardstep~
The black tom relaxed his stance and observed Sagepaw’s. It was good, for a beginner. I suppose being a kit for so long he must have picked some stuff up. He fixed the position of her paws slightly before giving her a nod of approval.
“Good, now I want you to try and dodge my attack. Try ducking first.” He meowed taking a couple paces back so they were just within range. Since this was their first time Mallardstep slowed his movement down. He wanted her to learn not get bashed in the head. He gave him a few heartbeats to prepare and get used to the new stance before flicking his paw at him, aiming for his forehead.

Would you mind me joining you? I need to get my oc ready though ^^
Shallowshiver | they/them | @Red'fur moving this here since it wouldn't be at the gathering anymore
Oh stars...was this cat brave, or was he just stupid? They were honestly leaning towards the latter, seeing as he fled at the sight of cats confronting him. With their large teeth on full display in a snarl, they swiftly charged the rogue the second he stepped foot in thunderclan territory. They intended on grabbing hold of his head and yanking it sharply, hopefully pulling him back out of the territory.
* He'd be caught off guard and pulled back out of Thunderclan territory *
" Get off me "
Shallowshiver | they/them
They shot him a harsh glare, absolutely dumbfounded at his plea. He was blatantly trespassing, why was he surprised that they werent just rolling over and letting him do as he pleased? "No, I wont. Would you mind telling me what you were doing not only at a gathering, but in ThunderClans territory as well?"
* He'd stumble back with a chuckle *
" I need to cross in that direction to head home "
Shallowshiver | they/them
Still not getting off of him, they would let out a bark of bitter laughter, "Oh, really? Then I assume you live in Thunderclan camp, then? As far as Im aware, you just crossed through non-clan territory to get her, did you not? Surely you dont live in the clans?"
* He'd chuckle *
" What can i say I travel and my real home is past Thunderclan camp"
* He'd try and squirm out of their grasp *
" Also mind letting go please "
