She had never left her brother's side, having stayed where she sat waiting for this meeting to continue. That it did, though she idly listened as Larkstar spoke and went on with fishface's warrior ceremony. Springpaw gave a half-assed chant of their new name, not caring for the guy as she saw him as a jerk. She didn't hang with jerks like that, though it wondered if her actions made her seem like one too. That was another problem thought for another day, for now, she continued to sit there.

Another set of losses and newcomers that happened within the recent days, nothing really that surprising or new. Springpaw wondered though who would leave behind kits, one not seemingly healthy. Well, shame on them they had no business being around kits or even having them if they wouldn't even provide for them. Hearing that the medicine cat is now dead because they did something they knew better? Yeah, she kind of felt no pity for him, who in the world wasn't aware to not trespass on shadowclan. Especially if one hears what they kept doing to Thunderclan, that was a fool's mistake.

Now the finale, the ending of this whole fiasco of a meeting it would be nice to have a normal meeting for once. It was finally official, she no longer had to wait for Larkstar to announce it to the clan. Springpaw was officially a lionheart and now felt like nothing was holding her back. She had proven she could handle her own in a fight and still come out alive and standing. Seeing out of the corner of her eye her brother seemingly looking for her and she gave a grin to him. "You hear that Win!? I'm a lionheart now!" she felt all excited. She didn't get long to celebrate it as she heard Nightspark call out her name along with the others. Oh were they having a meeting already? That was fast, "Okay, I'll be there in a minute!" she called out before he left. Springpaw was sure her brother had something to say, or at least she assumed so.

Ripplepelt dipped her head in acknowledgement as Larkstar assigned her to the new cat's swimming assessment, feeling a small burst of pride at being chosen. She prided herself on her swimming skills, and it was nice to see them recognised. Besides that, though Larkstar (along with almost every other cat in the clan) was too young to remember, she'd once been an outsider herself - it would be good to help another cat settle in.

She felt growing approval as Larkstar announced that apprentices would need to be accompanied by warriors on the territory, along with announcing the new Lionhearts. She let out a yowl of approval. Hopefully, the new rule would make it so that they lost fewer apprentices... Minkpaw and Asterpaw found dead on their own territory... and Adderpaw and Charredpaw had both had run-ins with rogues as well.

Meeting finished, Ripplepelt looked around for Firetail - if he was around, she was eager to get his swimming assessment done while it was still less-than-freezing. If not, she would find him in the warriors den later.

Deception sighed when Larkwing announced about two kits that nearly died due to their sickness. It did add some respect points for the young leader(compared to the other leaders, at least. Considering Lark is a tad bit older than her) in Deceptionsong's eyes for helping n' saving them. Stormykit and Crystalkit, those names sounded nice. The she-cat hoped the two kits' illnesses would be fully cured soon. The two kits would be better in this clan than with those damned cats anyway. Who would have the heart to leave two innocent kits to die in the forest? Isn't it your responsibility to take care of your own child!? Onto the death announcements because Deception would not want to be too angry during a clan meeting. She'll probably think about it after though. The young warrior didn't really know Willowpaw that much(heck, she never even talked to Willowpaw in the first place, only heard her name be spoken once or twice) the young warrior was a bit upset about the fact that an apprentice died early in life. God she hates that Otter or whatever. Well hopefully Willowpaw enjoys the rest of her time in the afterlife.......... And hopefully Otter-cat accidentally eats her own poison.
So after Lark announced the new Lionhearts, which had surprised her a tad bit considering she usually never see apprentices becoming Shields or Lionhearts, the meeting came to a close. The she-cat stood up and quickly left. Some parts of this meeting had given her quite a headache. The young warrior had always wondered what it's like being a Lionheart when she was an apprentice; you're still like when you were a warrior just with a different title and maybe a bit more respect though you get more responsibilities than the rest of the cats in the clan excluding high ranks so she really wasn't too jealous of the three new Lionhearts (maybe just a little bit but it doesn't really matter much)

The tom yawned, the rest of the meeting wasn't really as interesting. Firetail, Stormykit, Crystalkit joining the clan. Then some death-announcements-Falcon-was-an-idiot-how-did-Willowwisp-get-killed-anyway. New rule that made Hawk wonder why it didn't exist before. Anddd cats that he did not care for becoming Lionhearts. He knew his dream of becoming a Lionheart was gone at this point though it didn't mean flame wasn't envious of them. Guess that means it's time to leave the meeting and go do his own thing.

Well..Sunsetpaw didn't want to kill anyone but since Ottersplash was the one causing problems with Thunderclan then it is very justified; It's just that Sunsetpaw had always had problems when it comes to murder. At least the announcement about some cats joining riverclan was more on the better side! Yea, new clanmates! New potential friends! Though they were a bit worried for the two kits...they're healthier now at least, right...? Would Tansypaw be able to cure the sickness..? She probably could! Sunsetpaw believed in their friend! And they believe that the two kits would be back to full health! Still, what kind of parents would leave their kits to die in a clan's territory...? The news about the three deaths saddened the apprentice a bit more than they already were. Ottersplash had caused so much problems...

Wait, that rule didn't esist before yet? The one where apprentices can't leave camp without a warrior..? They thought that existed..did it not? They've always assumed there was something like that....well...it's good that it's an official riverclan rule now! They smiled at Larkstar's announcements about the new Lionhearts. Springpaw especially. She's Winterpaw's sister, right? Though the apprentice still considers all three of them(as well as basically most of he clan) their friends "Congrats to you three!" they mewed, genuinely happily. It wasn't long until the meeting ended after it. Glad it ended on a better note?

Brightnight beamed as Weepingpaw's suggestion was heard and fullfilled. "Smarty paws" She giggled as he son ran to her with a large purr.
Weepingpaw purred and nuzzeled his mother. (10/100)

Summerpaw had never been necessarily close with his siblings. But when he heard that Springpaw was a Lionheart he padded forward, his ears a bit down and his tail between his legs. He tilted his head, hoping Springpaw would accept a conversation or quick congratulations from him. Last time he spoke to his sibling s was when mother died.... Summerpaw could really look at any cat confidently after that. He hadn't done enough, not for his siblings, not for his mother, nobody. Hawksun seemed to be the only cat he could rely on. Looking back as he felt Hawksuns tail brush his flank, Hawksun dipped his head to Springpaw and gave her a look and then looked at Summerpaw then back. "Give him a chance." Hawksun whispered to the she-cat with a small purr. Padding away.

Firetail smiled as he heard his name, the tom listened to the leader before looking around for ripplepelt, a unfamiliar name, yet of course when was new so it would make sense, once seeing the older warrior, he waited for the meeting to end, his eyes darted across to clearing and towards ripplepelt. He farted over and smiled"Hi are you ripplepelt? " the scarred young warriors inquired

Ripplepelt flicked an ear in greeting. "I'm well - though I'd be better if the clouds would clear a little," she mewed light-heartedly.
"If you haven't been assigned to anything else, I'd like to get your swimming assessment started today, before the days start getting cold enough for snow," she mewed. "The waters in Haven Springs are warm year round, but that's not much help once you get out of the water with a wet pelt. Have you had much experience with swimming?"

The small blue-spotted tabby looked up at Larkwing with a content smile on his face. Fishfreckle that was his new name, huh? It wasn’t really badass or anything, but it wasn’t necessarily a bad name. It was… acceptable.

He nodded to his leader before turning to begin making his way back to his former mentor. There weren’t as many chanting his name as he hoped, which was a bit disappointing. Perhaps he’d have to personally hunt down everyone and rough them up a little before they congratulated him. That was a lot of work though…

There was one voice that he heard above the rest of the chanting as if they were intentionally trying to garner his attention. He turned and fixed his green eyes on Amberwing [ @Sklee ], narrowing them ever so slightly before turning back to where he was headed.

He hadn’t even made it back to Cherryswirl before the next set of announcements was given. Some exiles, some deaths, yada yada. Wait… Cherryswirl was a what now? Eyes widening, he cast his eyes back to the leader for a moment to make sure he heard correctly before quickening his pace. Reaching Cherryswirl, he smiled brightly at her, a genuine smile this time. ”Congrats on becoming a Lionheart! You deserve it,” he purred. He wasn’t one to show affection usually, so he kinda just stood there awkwardly, but he was still really happy for the she-cat regardless.
