He was definitely sleeping. Snuggled comfortably in his nest as he was practically curled in on himself, back paws tickling his chin, front paws tucked away. Perfection. However at the call of his name he popped open an eye, squinting at the light pouring in from the entrance. Once the apprentice registered who exactly it was he quickly scrambled up and bounced towards his mentor, still incredibly groggy.

"Battle training?" Mosspaw echoed, eyes closed as he pressed his forehead against the bigger tom. Not even registering the fact that there were other felines around.

[Not quite sure where we are here so sorry if I mentioned you and you didn't have to be /w\ " ]

Sunsnow smiled. "Careful there, little guy, and yes, battle training."

They were part of a battle patrol, and he couldn't have Mosspaw not knowing how to fight!

He flicked his tail, waiting when he realized just how hungry he was. Sunsnow turned his head and longingly gazed at the fresh-kill pile before caving.

"Come on, let's eat something first."

Minktail dipped her head. "Thank you for clearing that up." She meowed head still lowered. Almost like she wanted her height to match her volume. Soft and quiet. With nervousness spun around it.




Honeyflower had to admit she was a little surprised to be rolled into by a kit. That didn't happen often. Normally a kit would run or fall into someone but rolling was a first! Laughing slightly the large molly looked down at the kit. She was still cute with her mud covered fur, sticks stuck in it and everything. "Hello." Honeyflower greeted. Young cats had so much energy! Honestly the ginger and cream warrior hoped that she stayed like this into apprentice moons.
"Yes. Nice to meet you Aspenkit." The long hair cooed. Being around kits was fun but she was sure queens got tired out fast. Especially with this little one. "I'm Honeyflower." She interduce herself so the kit would know who she was. "You seemed to have made quiet the masterpiece." The warrior committed amusement woven in her voice as she nodded to the mess Aspenkit had made.

The kit gave a sheepish smile, rubbing her paws together as she did her best to avoid eye contact at the warriors comment. "It was supposed to...ya know work. It didn't." she sighed. However her mess was quickly forgotten as she realized she had tons and tons of questions to ask.

On that note, Aspenkit quickly picked herself up, resulting in some clumps of mud and some little twigs to fall off of her. "How cool is it out in the territory? When I become an apprentice, will I really be allowed to climb any tree I want? I heard some of the Apprentices say that but I don't think I believe them." She squaked. She wanted to be ready when she became an apprentice, she wanted to know everything so that she could get ahead of the game!

The Torbie watched as Buckbranch gave his outburst, stunned into silence. She looked between him and Flintstar, a blatant frown on her lips. Her eyes followed the former deputy's footsteps out of the camp, hoping he found a way to calm down soon. It wouldn't be a good idea to follow him, as much as she wanted to. So Duskfeather took her new place as deputy beside the Highpeak, sharing nods and polite smiles to all those who congratulated her. This was simply a shock, truly and utterly. But it would fade soon enough, and she would get to work immediately as the new ThunderClan deputy.
First up, the expansion patrols. She pinpointed all of those to come with her in the crowd, her tail flicking. They would leave immediately after Flintstar dismissed them, and she would be sure to grab some prey to eat before they began their journey into the Outskirts. Duskfeather nodded to herself, mind already working on ways she could help the Clan. This chance wouldn't go to waste, despite the guilt she felt for replacing Buckbranch as the deputy. So, she stood, nodding to all those on her expansion patrol before looking over the Clan. "Thank you, everyone. I will do my best as the deputy, and I hope to help ThunderClan to thrive in any way I can." She dipped her head, a kind smile on her face.

Irispaw finally arrived at the meeting, fluffing out her fur as she made her way through the mob of cats. She tried to carry herself as confidently as she could without looking daunted by Thunderclan's situation. So much was on at the moment!
She took a seat near the front, trying to listen in. She'd regret that.

Buckbranch, demoted?! She thought, shocked. She hadn't even heard of their arguments, or any interactions between the two. Though Duskfeather seemed to be a worthy deputy, she felt unsettlement deep in her bones.
"Congrats, Duskfeather." She murmured through the voices of her clanmates. She felt too small to feel of any good in this crowd. There were times that she needed to pipe down.

duskfeather as deputy ? Ha! He never saw that one coming "Congratulations ol dusky!" he cheered . But he growled at a few who said her name wrong " it's duskfeather you mouse brains! Not duskwatcher!" he snapped . Ears perking up at buckbranches words. The tom snorted , he loved rebellion and all...But the old boy was doing it wrong. "duskfeather will in fact be a better deputy than you! Good riddance ! Also work better on rebelling because that was lousy! KITS DO BETTER THAN THAT!" he yelled with a deadly glare in his eyes at the fleeing former deputy . cats these days...
