It didn't take long for Beansprout to creep out of the shadows of the warrior's den. The poor guy was physically limping just a bit, but he tried his best to hide it. So long as he could stand, he would be happy to serve his Clan. Looking over at the somewhat pitiful prey pile, his ears flattened. There had been a few other contributions besides his own, but it wasn't nearly enough. "Good morning, Firelight," Beansprout greeted with a smile, dipping his head ever so slightly. "Shall we head out?"
Firelight returned Beansprout’s greeting by dipping her own head. “We shall.” Beansprout was the patrol leader, not her, so she waited for the other warrior to lead the way to Lionsbeach.

The senior warrior heard his name and moved out to meet the two apprentices in his patrol. This was so exciting. An old man and two apprentices. He'd need all the help je could get with his almost bad eye sight. He was only 50 moons, but age was slowly catching up to him. Beaverfluff stood there hoping the other apprentice would show up soon. He didn't Want to waste any time. He was still patient though. "We'll wait a couple more minutes for the other one, but if they don't we'll fo on without them.", Beaverfluff meowed.
The large tom shook out his pelt and glanced at the older warrior. "I agree with Wasppaw. You would know the territory much better than either of us. Lead the way please." Robinpaw liked to try and keep things brief, this was only a patrol, no point in delaying.
Bumb after like 5 hours I'm on pretty often so If I don't get to our rp the means I forgot- ;-; (Yes if you were wonder ing the ;-; is my favorite face)
She smiled warmly but her eyes were icy cold....'Nice too meet you too!'She mewed, her ear twiched.

"Let's go!" She smiled. (Zeebles said they would be inactive for a bit on their user page, so we should start the patrol)
Cloverdust's pelt prickled with a certain unease as she brushed her way through the entrance of the camp. She'd briefly been distracted by that juicy secret, but now that her thoughts were back on the beginning of the patrol she was reminded about how nervous ShadowClanners made her—especially when they snuck up on her. After a hurried glance around the clearing, she padded up to the deputy and dipped her head in greeting.
"The patrol over at Saltmeadow Marsh went well enough, I'd say," she meowed. She'd actually given her report some thought on the way in, so she wasn't stumbling over her words like she tended to do. "Snakepaw didn't show, so it was just Coldflake and I. There was a faint scent of some outsider when we first arrived, but it was pretty stale." Though she longed to launch into her ultra storytelling mode, she held back from the dramatics as she continued. "Just as we were about to head back, we met with a ShadowClan patrol at the border! Nothing of import happened, though." She glanced off to the side. Nothing that she wanted to share, at least...
Wait, she just remembered that he'd wanted them to hunt! "Oh, hunting slipped my mind, though! I'll go out and catch something soon."
Heading back to camp the tom looked around for Gingerfrost. Beaverfluff moved over to him. "The patrol went really well and there was no suspicious activity going on. Both apprentices did fantastic. ", he meowed. Beaverfluff kept it short due.
On a really good stride on here and Barleypaw is really close to getting her post counts finished for her training. If there is anyone who needs a cat to help with anything feel free to VM or pm. I want her to be more active along her clanmates.
"My apologies for the lateness," Beansprout spoke to Gingerfrost after he dropped his prey off. "But you did send us all the way out to Lionsbeach. Despite the timing, Firelight and I caught a decent amount of prey. The prey pile should be stocked for awhile." With a flick of his fluffy tail, Beansprout tilted his head to the side. "Anything else you need?"

It appeared her and Beastflame returned just in the nick of time, as no later did Cloverdust already appear as the first patrol of the day to report back. He turned to face the feline and gave a nod of greeting, awaiting to hear what happened at Saltmeadow marsh. As usual, it was disappointing to hear an apprentice didn't show up -- it was their training they were talking about -- although, he hadn't seen Snakepaw around camp all day now. He'd have to go looking for the kid later. Huffing lightly to push the momentary thought aside, he refocused on Cloverdust, who was more or less finishing up her report. She appeared oddly nervous, glancing behind her, it piqued the tom's curiosity, though she was quick to move on. "Thank you, Cloverdust."
He responded, both to the report and her offer to go hunting later; "You seem nervous?"
He then added, a bit curiously, wondering if something else beyond her report happened.

Next up was Beaverfluff, with a swift but clear report to which Gingerfrost nodded. "Thank you"
He mew (he's training his manners, you see) and dismissed the warrior with a light flick of his tail.

Another positive report, leaving the deputy in a fairly decent mood. "What about the members on your patrol?"
He briefly questioned, wanting to know if everyone indeed showed up and stuck around.
"My apologies for the lateness," Beansprout spoke to Gingerfrost after he dropped his prey off. "But you did send us all the way out to Lionsbeach. Last but not least, came Beansprout. The feline was a little late, but Gingerfrost had decided not to bother the warrior about it, considering he'd gotten rather hurt in the fight against those nasty dogs. If anything, he was grateful he'd done his best to go hunt regardless, though, he subtly noted the comment on lionsbeach. That aside, the patrol sounded to be a success this time, and Firelight had done much better than before. He gave nod of understanding, politely dismissing Beansprout with his next words. "No, thank you."

The sun had risen to the sky, and that meant it was now time for the things he disliked most: patrol punishments. Gingerfrost huffed as he positioned himself within the clearing, paws shifting above the sand. He scanned the surrounding area, noting who was and wasn't up already. He'd certainly be waking some felines up like this. Sorry to them. "Sleepywolf, Whitesnake, Raccoonear and Pondheart! None of you reported back to your patrols. Unless you can give me a valid reason right now, go back out and each of you, and catch at least two pieces of prey. Don't forget to put it on the preypile before reporting back.
Sleepywolf and Whitesnake go to Lionsbeach; Racconear and Pondheart return to Have Springs."

Now on to the batch of previous patrols. Fogcloud had informed him very few reported back, and the fact rather bugged him. It was needless to say he felt a little disappointed, though perhaps it was partially his fault as well. He needed to be more assertive. "Gingerpaw, Silversnow, Bluebellpaw, Darktwist! Heard you four never reported back either. Same as before, lest you can give me a good reason, you're going back out. Silversnow, Bluebellpaw - you two return to the ShadowClan border. Darktwist, you're taking Gingerpaw hunting at Cattail Pond. Bring back at least two pieces of prey."
