The small tom padded from his den, stretching out his legs, letting out a yawn. Beepaw kept his gaze on the ground to avoid being blinded by the bright sun. Ugh. He hated days like this, he would much prefer a nice, cool day, where the sun wasn't so bright you couldn't see if you looked up. The tom shook his pelt, walking over to a nice shady tree.
He gave a small glance around the clearing, everything was normal. Watching as a few kits played around near the nursery, his ear giving an acknowledging flick.

He turned his head slightly, green gaze falling on a tom bounding his way over. He hadn't seen him before. And he could only hope he hadn't come to ruin his relaxation in the shade.
He gave a sigh seeing the tom, who looked to be an apprentice about his age, stand in front of him. "er..hello?" He greeted with furrowed brows, a confused glint in his eyes.

his tail wiggled "heya ! " he greeted back with a smile , however he didn't know what to say next...he's not had the chance to socialize much other than that brown tabby next door who's name was Murphy but that was it .But that's when he saw the confusion , atleast that gave him a conversation starter "names Harvey- er I mean. ... Harveypaw. Yours?" he asked. You had no idea how hard it was for him not to say his name without the extra word added on to it ,Saying that to him felt weird .

His head tilted , weren't cats his age supposed to have....what's the word again , Mentors? "Where's your mentor ? I thought every cat needed one... " he meowed then hoped that the other didn't ask about his. when am I gonna get one? The others look like they're having fun! Harveypaw sat down and made himself comfortable before cleaning himself up as he waited for his answers .

" the memories of that place were still fresh in his mind. He had to go that place two moons ago as a matter of fact ,just before he fled. "if so that's a pretty important job that your handling Quite well. " he praised with a smile.

Beepaw ignored the comment about his appearance, frowning. Though he tilted his head hearing vet. What was that? Listening, he figured it was a twolegs medicine cat! He nodded, shifting slightly again. Beepaw grinned at the praise, feeling his chest swell with pride. "I am handling well, amazing." He said, or in his tone.

The grey and silver tom made his way out of the apprentices den, shaking his pelt slightly. Chickenpaw yawned, stretching all his legs, feeling refreshed after doing so. He made his way to the fresh kill pile, grabbing a small mouse. Leaning down to take a bite, a squeal caught his attention. Golden gaze falling on a muddy tan tom and an equally muddy white and black tom. They seemed to be having fun..how?!
How are they so comfortable when there's mud on them?! He thought, feeling disgust poke at him. He shook his head, turning back to his meal. Takinh a bite, he quickly chewed an swallowed, repeating it until he was done. After, he licked around his mouth to hurry and rid of any crumbs. Ew.
His attention went back to the tan tom, who he now noticed had some distinguishing features, and the black and white tom. Once again disgust poked at him. Dear starclan knows what's in that mud! He thought, brows furrowed slightly as he stared at the other apprentices from afar. He just didn't get it!
They're clearly not worried about germs.. Chickenpaw thought, humming lowly after.

After a few heartbeats of Hogpaw laying over Cowpaw, he felt his pelt begin to heat up as though someone were staring at him. He looked up and scanned the clearing, his nose twitching. Soon, his gaze came to rest on a dark-furred apprentice who seemed to be staring at him and Cowpaw. Hogpaw frowned and rolled off of his friend, nudging the older tom with his paw. "Do you know him?" he asked, pointing toward the offender with his ears, "He's staring at us, I don't like it." He lowered himself to the ground, an insecure frown on his abnormal snout.

Joyous shot down to regret in a flash gazing at his friend's sad face, easily being fooled like always. "Ah, c'mon Hogpaw it's just- I was playing around. Hey, wait a minu-" Staring more, the tom caught a little glimmer in eyes and before he could catch his little fib, the tan apprentice tackled him down. Or should he say, belly flopped? His paunchy denmate practically smothered the spotted feline with his weight, however, it didn't bother him the slightest. Other cats may find him unusual, too big and avoided him because of the pungent scent that clings to his pelt. Cowpaw always felt conflicted of this. Sucks for them though! The tan tom is just a unique dirty fluff ball of carefree and fun to be around. Tuneful laughter fluttered from his jaws as they wrestled around in the questionable grime until he felt weight lifted from him. "Aw, why did you stop?" Cowpaw rolled over to get on his paws, not bothering to shake the dust off his fur.
Know who? His green eyes followed where he'd pointed to a dark feline looking right back at them. "Oh! I know, I know!" Skipping around his bestie being fiddle-footed up till he glimpsed at Hogpaw's timid posture. He sat down, fur brushing against his shoulder. "That my friend is Turkeypaw," he said in full confidence staring back at the grey cat, unblinking. Silence didn't last long as he leaned close to his ear, whispering. "....I thinkk," dragging the last word without breaking away from the stare-down with her. His sudden loud, endless talking burst out with questions. "Or is it Eagle? No, uh, Hawk? Some kind of weird bird," he gasped. "Do you think she gobbles and that's why she's called Turkeypaw? I'll go ask!" High step, with a little bounce in his walk he dashed over to her in a heartbeat. "Hey, I saw you staring at us and all and..your name, is it Turkeypaw? Am I right? I'm right." Fantazied shone in his big green orbs paired with his babbles. "Me and Hogpaw want to know if you gobble like a turkey. Do you do it often? Your mom must've put up with you a lot." Cowpaw quietly observed her from head to toe.
"You don't look like a turkey."

Chickenpaw felt his pelt start to heat up like a fire once he got caught staring. Panic started settling in, along with awkwardness. What was he thinking?! I should minded my own business!! he thought nervously, starting to stand up. He should just flee the scene, hide under a boulder or something. Then he couldn't be seen again. He knew it was too late aa the Apprentice walked up. Turkeypaw? He shook his head, opening to say something but was cut off as the time continued to talk.
Chickenpaw only felt more awkward and embarrassed as the bi color cat asked if he gobbled.
"Uhhm..my name's not Turkeypaw..it's Chickenpaw." He corrected, avoiding eye contact, glancing to the side. "And..I don't gobble." He winced out, shuffling back a bit. At least he learned the tan ones name, hogpaw. He'd seen him once or twice around camp, usually in mud. Chickenpaw had never talked to him per say, but he would exchange a hello if he walked past him. But now, now he was sure he ruined any slight percent of being on Hogpaws good side.
Ears perking, he looked at Cowpaw for a second or two, glancing away after. A look of regret and sheer awkwardness was plastered on his face. Brows furrowed with a nervous frown. "I'm uh, really sorry for staring! I just found it..." He trailed off, clearing his throat after. "I just found it abnormal that you looked so comfortable covered in mud" He muttered out, voice cracking slightly.

Dogpaw walked around the clearing, looking for someone to annoy bother talk to. He spotted three cats who looked like apprentices, and he decided to 'talk to' them. Being the annoying creature that he was, he completely ignored the conversation they were having. ’’Hello! I'm Dogpaw, like a dog. I tend to get teased for my name. Ooh, are you three about to fight? Will one of you die? That would be cool! Wait, how would a cat gobble? How does anything gobble? Oh well, what are the three of you's names? Not that you share one name, although that would be awesome! Maybe you do all share one name, sorry for assuming!’’ He took in a deep breath, and sat down. He couldn't take all this rambling, but he couldn't help himself.

"Okay," Blazingstar voiced, his gaze shifted back to Darkbelly, searching his gaze for a moment before looking towards the medicine cat den once more. Maybe Darkbelly would feel different later, but for the time being he was fine with this change of events.

He was never close to his parents, and he never would be. It was hard to feel upset when WindClan had significantly better cats left.

"Of course," he responded in reference to visiting Blazingstar to talk if needed. "Focus on yourself first, Blazingstar. The Clan still needs you."

his whiskers twitched out of interest "how much different is your role compared to theirs?" he asked genuinely curious . However he did spot a few metal looking things with other cats inside of them at the vet and that part he hated which only made him shiver at remembering them "you don't put other cats in metal boxes right? ...." he shook his head and looked at the den where beepaw came from ,no metal boxes in sight....yet. They could be hidden in a separate room! That part made him gulp. His nose twitched as he looked back up at where the leaders den was "hey I've noticed something . How come we don't have two leaders ,deputies and medicine cat? Because when I was coming over here I noticed that one has both ! From what I saw....so strange ....wouldn't they fight a lot ?" he asked with a head tilt .
