A expression that showed her slight disappointment could be seen. However it also looked kinda...dead in a way? Sighing "again . Pretend I'm a nasty badger or....or a mortal enemy ." she meowed as she tried to encourage fernpaw.

"O-of course. My paw just slipped. But I'll get it right this time." Fernpaw crouched back down, this time actually managing to run forward. She jumped over her mentor, landing clumsily. She did however whip around pretty quick, biting the air behind Cherrymist's back legs.

Watching fernpaws movements . She smiled . The apprentice did do better than the first time. Ducking her head as fermpaw leaped,just in case her paws decided to slightly drag across her head. She looked over her shoulder "you did better than the first time. But you need to work on balance . Try focusing on your core muscles, it helps . " she meowed . "it may look wierd, but in your alone time. Try standing on your hind paws and focus with those muscles for while. They keep you standing in one place" she added. " anywho, try it again " she instructed .

She nodded happily, ecstatic.
I can't believe I did it!
She crouched down once more, remembering to focus on her muscles. She took a flying leap over her mentor's head, landing much more gracefully. She once again whipped around quick, nearly nipping Cherrymist's legs.

Nightkit returned the smile "t-thank you, I like the night too" she mowed "it's so pretty and calm"
The white she-kit lifted her head a little and carefully studied the young dusty coloured Tom in front of her.
"I don't think i've seen him befor" she thought to herself. Then again, although she liked to watch her surroundings, she didn't necessarily pay attention to the cats around her.
She looked at her paws then back at Bluebellkit. She wanted to play with him, as she was a little bored and he seemed nice, but she didn't know what, nor did she dare to ask if he wanted to play. @Bluepetal

"fantastic fernpaw! I'm surprised honestly ..I thought it take you atleast two more tries for balance ." she praised . Tail swishing "we'll continue that one tomorrow . But for now, is time for a full on attack . Ok?"

" the easiest is to simply tire them out. Push them off their paws and aim for the face. If an enemy . I suggest go for the eyes, it hinders their vision greatly " she meowed with a grin " any thoughts before I demonstrate? "

She shook her head no, ready to listen. Then she hesitated.
"Actually, I do have one question... mm it's more of a concern." She started, "So when hitting your opponent, we don't want to hit them hard enough to do permanent damage, right? I just want to make sure they will end up living. There's no need to break the warrior code over a petty border skirmish."
