She may still have the name paw at the end of her name, but she was capable of handling things on her own. Springpaw was made a lionheart for a reason and it wasn't her sitting on her ass doing nothing. "We are no longer accepting outsiders, even those seeking to rejoin the clan." she said loud and clear for both Soul'kit' and Frostfeather to hear. She came slinking out of the shadows that would surround Riverclan, like it was a second coat for her. "I highly suggest that you leave the territory now, we've had too many outsiders lately testing our patience and I'm quite tired of it now" that was her warning for the overgrown kit to leave now. Springpaw wouldn't hold back against chasing someone away, especially since this one proved they could survive on their own.

Frostfeather narrowed her eyes at Springpaw's interruption. Sighing, she shook her head.
Her tail tip twitching impatiently, the silverpoint pseudo-tabby warrior turned to look at the RiverClan apprentice, her green eyes narrowed.
''Springpaw, I understand that you wish to help,'' The she-cat began. ''But I was already here handling the situation.''
Frostfeather's whiskers twitched. ''Why don't you see if you can catch some prey for the elders?'' She suggested, quickly adding onto her sentence before the apprentice could interrupt. ''If your mentor asks, I'll tell them that I sent you.''
The silver warrior turned back to Soulkit. ''You may as well leave,'' She touched her nose to the tom's ear. ''We all miss you, but Springpaw's right. RiverClan isn't accepting outsiders at the moment.''

Springpaw was choosing if she should ignore what came out of Frostfeathers mouth or fire back. For a few moments, she gave the other a blank stare as she weighed her choices. She knew she wasn't going to listen to what this one was trying to tell her to do. "I ain't doing what you tell me to do, I'm sound enough to do what I want and what my rank's job is to do" she rolled her eyes. "I don't know if you were in some sort of coma during the recent meeting but I am a Lionheart now, I don't need to be treated like some sort of child when I'm not. and no you're not handling it you were going to entertain this outsider's thoughts about rejoining and if you were handling it, you would be telling them to leave not letting them stay here"

Frostfeather's tail tip twitched in annoyance with the apprentice. A low growl rumbled in her throat.
''Lionheart or not, Springpaw, you are still an apprentice,'' The silver warrior reminded Springpaw in a politely cold tone.
''And being an apprentice means that you listen to what an older cat tells you to do, or do I need to get Birdsnow? Or even better - how about Larkstar?''

"I don't get where you get off trying to tell me what to do when right this moment I have more authority than you do right now, but you need to come back to reality." she snarked. Springpaw could hear the tone the other was taking up with her, but she didn't cower to it. Did this one think she was afraid of them? She faced a windclan enemy before, two of them in fact, and has faced a predator. Nothing nowadays scared her. "Since you don't want to listen to what is coming out of my mouth then go to them, do it, see how they react. I want to see it" she shot back slightly seething on the inside. She couldn't believe that there were cats in this clan that couldn't listen to someone telling them what to do just because of an age difference. "Sometimes I wonder how some of you guys became warriors in the first place if you like to play the age game when it comes to stuff like this"
Meadowkit jumped at every little sound. She had decided to go exploring, a very rare and brash decision for the rather shy kitten. Usually she stayed by her mother and sister's side, to scared to do anything but watch. However, she felt like doing something useful for once, so she had gone on a little voyage. And since she didn't know how to creep through the woods quite yet, she could be heard from far away, far enough for a cat to hear...

This is a separate time frame from what is happening above!
Springpaw hadn't been called for a patrol in quite some time but that did not mean she didn't watch the others go. The amount of patrols that had come back with nothing to show or didn't even go out in the first place was astonishing. Every time she had seen that it got her angered, and it kept building up the more it happened. Apparently, they had found it hard to do simple patrols, a task that everyone did once they became a warrior or an apprentice. She wondered if they were either too lazy to do a simple thing or they had no brain in that head of theirs. No one got to be lazy around camp, no one but the elders since they did their job for the clan.
Well, she had decided to go out on her little patrol, just by herself she didn't want anyone holding her back. They would only waste time dilly-dallying around instead of getting down to business. She was cold coming out of here doing this, and not in her nest. The less time she spent collecting whatever she could, the quicker she could go back to camp. This round was her looking for any plant that looked herby, something tansypaw could use. As far as she was aware, they had a decent amount of prey for now, or until the next round of patrols. Springpaw wasn't sure if it could be said about herbs since she didn't get involved that much with medicine cat stuff.
Any plant she would come upon that looked relatively like a herb would be a victim to her, it would be coming home with her. Springpaw ruffled around what little remained of plant life around the territory, looking for anything at all. The first thing she ran into was a flower that was managing to survive the cold leaf-bare at the moment. She had no idea what it was called, but it was yellow as all hell, someone could probably see it from the other side of the territory. Though looking at it, appeared that some of them were dying but some were still alive. The lionheart took a few from the slowly dwindling flowers, and moved on. She would not be the reason there wasn't any left for the rest of the season.
+ 2 yellow bells
She wasn't done yet, she would go back until she was unable to carry anymore and she could still hold stuff. Springpaw was kind of surprised to see that a flower was still living with this cold. If she was a flower she would have just died or gone to sleep till it got warmer. No way would she stay standing in this god-forsaken weather, it felt like a living nightmare. Letting herself have a moment to shiver, she went back to her searching gazing around at the ground. The molly stopped walking when she came upon another flower-looking plant, what is with these flowers staying alive in the cold?! Though this one seemed to be a bit more lively than the last one, that was a bit of a surprise and a good thing for her. She was quick to collect some before she once again moved on with her task.
+2 chervil
Now her maw was starting to feel full with what she had so far but she could collect one more. She was almost done, finally, she could see that invisible finish line waiting ahead of her. Maybe once she got back and dropped these plants off she could eat that marten she caught. That is if no one got to it before she did, it looked juicy when she had caught it initially. She would probably have to share it since it was kinda big, no way she could eat it on her own. Green eyes blinked as she focused back on her task at hand, right looking for the last bit of herbs she could carry. Just her bit of luck that she came upon a white-looking bushy thing, she didn't know what to call it but it looked like the last one she nabbed.
Springpaw couldn't describe how it smelt but it was different from the last plant, so she didn't ignore it. Though if she didn't most likely she would have walked off not wanting a repeat for now. With a bit of a struggle, she picked one off from the stem and left. Now she had enough, to the point it was a pain to hold all of these things for now. Springpaw wanted to collect some more, but she guessed that would be another task for her tomorrow. At least she knew tansypaw would be happy with what she had so far.

growing more upset by the minute he had to pause for a moment, leaving mistypaws question hanging in the air and closing his eyes, to remind himself that acting on his feelings would only make him appear like a kit throwing a temper tantrum. his eyes remained closed another second and he let out a breath, feeling ridiculous enough for the next moon to come and lifted his head to properly look at mistypaw again. praying that the molly wouldnt say anything about his odd behaviour, especially not to anyone else, he decided to play it off like he was fine and nothing ever happened.
"i dont think this is it, tansypaw didnt say anything about smell and this absolutely reeks, we'll take it back and ask anyway. good job finding the thyme though...id say ill go get more moss but i dont think we should risk the flower being something bad and the moss getting weird. maybe snapfury found proper yellow bells, i say we just wait for him now."
the tabby decided and sat down closer to mistypaw, putting some distance between himself and the flowers he had picked. subconsciously beginning to paw at the dirt and little sticks beneath his paws after just a few seconds of sitting silently, mind racing and desperately attempting to calm himself down, he still did his best to remain calm on the outside.
this was ridiculous.
he was acting ridiculous.
he shouldnt be making such a big deal out of being a bit sticky and smelling like a flower.
he was embarassing himself and loosing any and all respect anyone ever had for him.
some rational part of him thought he was not only being ridiculous but also overreacting but stop his racing thoughts and sift through them to make sense of anything? not a chance.
(idk what im doing but hes having a breakdown because of the flowers.)
Misty gave a quick nod, wondering where the hell Snapfury was. If he didn't come soon she supposed they'd have to go back without him. Now that she was thinking about it she had not seen him on the way here either.. oh well. He was a warrior, he could care for himself, and if he was too incompetent to complete a patrol that was his fault. "Sure, if he ever comes," she commented.
Her one amber eye looked over to Jayfrost and she raised a brow. Was he okay?? He didn't look alright. She didn't know what he was having a breakdown over but she supposed she should comfort him. "Uh.. are you alright? What's wrong?" Mistypaw asked with a soft voice, head tipping to the left.
Frostfeather narrowed her eyes at Springpaw's interruption. Sighing, she shook her head.

he huffed a chuckle at the mollys comment about snapfury literally just disappearing.
his eyes fixed on her amber one, seemingly searching for something, before diverting his gaze to stare at the ground. "you know what? no. snapfury is old enough to find his way back alone, can we please go back now" he frowned, it stung to admit he couldnt stand staying for another minute but felt the molly would maybe understand.
he had made a big enough scene already and honestly just wanted to go. "i got the flower stuff all over me" he added halfheartedly, unwilling to go into more detail and finally lifted his gaze off the ground to evaluate mistypaws reaction and decide how much he would have to regret this later on.
(i feel like hes so ooc lmao but surprise! people are different in different situations xd his throwing a fit cuz of sensory hypersensitivity btw)
