Seeing her mentor was, once again, not around, Splashpaw bounded up to her other patrol mate. Come on, let's go. Snowstripe NEVER shows up for anything. And I should know. She's my mentor. @Snowstripe @Cougar (Sorry Snowstripe)

Mosskit sits just outside of the nursery, watching his Clanmates. He wonders what it will be like when he becomes an apprentice soon. He sees the apprentices going about their duties and thinks, Maybe I can ask one of them something. Spotting a gray she-cat, he pads over and waits for her to notice him. @The Shadow Flower

Good! Halfkit was okay. Nodding his head he watched her paws with fascination before some liquid started dropping off. "What's that weird liquid?" he asked. It was strange. It was all red and based on Halfkit's reaction it didn't even taste good. Why did red liquid come out of scraping your paws? Well, he would learn when he was older. He assumed so. "Is it disgusting?" He was extremely proud of that word. It was a harder word for Eelkit to say and he hopped over to her slowly poking her paw with one of his own. "Does it still hurt?" And then... 'not go into the dens?' "But... you're not by yourself! I'm with you! Did she tell you you could go into the dens with a friend?"

Halfkit gave Eelkit a weird look.
Had he never seen blood before?
"It's blood! Yer body makes it to cover up hurts! So they don't get stuff in the cut. I think mama called it infection. It doesn't sound fun!"
She was a little too happy to explain to Eelkit what blood was, given her reaction when she had to clean it off her paw.
"It's not bad but it's not good, either. I don't.... think it's meant to be eaten."
She frowned a bit.
And then she frowned more.
Did he..... did he just give her a perfectly valid reason to break mama's rules?
Yes, yes he did.
"Welllll....... she never said I couldn't go with friends!"

"Er... around?" Bluepaw said, "I'm so, so sorry Lionstar! I love Riverclan! I'll pick ticks off the elders for moons if you let me stay!" she was on the verge of tears, but regained her composure. Those stupid cats had been bullying her, so she left. Not the greatest idea in hindsight, but what can you do. 'Around' actually was correct! @BILL.
