Linnetwing looked down at her apprentice. She wouldn't mind him being her friend. She would need one and the warrior trusted him. "Once we're finished here we can go talk to her.", she meowed. Linnetwing took the some of the bedding and walked out of the den to throw it away. The silver tabby molly walked back inside to help her apprentice to finish.

His words split off into a yowl of pain as Ivykit bit down on his tail. As he carried on in a slight whimper, Ivykit darted back over to Smokekit. "Don't listen to him, he's got a brain full of bees," she mewed, gently pressing her nose into the other she-kit's side.

Smokekit slowly stood up, comforted by Ivykit's words. She sniffed. "Who is he?" She mewed. "He's mean.." She sighed. She watched the tomkit with a glance of disapproval.

Linnetwing padded out of the warriors den to do her daily hunting. Her wounds still hurt and they were a little red, but that wouldn't stop her from doing her clan duties. The silver tabby molly sat down and began to lick her wounds cleaned. She hadn't been able to do that since she was always on warrior duties. She was always running around and helping out her clan. Linnetwing finished her grooming and was about ready to head out.

"His name is Thornkit." Ivykit's ears flattened. "He's my brother," she added, sending a glare back at said tomkit.

Gathering his own mouthful--and trying not to gag--Brightpaw quickly trotted out of the den and disposed of it, then darted back to Linnetwing. "I can get the last of it," he offered.

Linnetwing watched him leave to get rid of the bedding and come back. "That's fine. I'll go do somebody else's nest and then we can go talk to Petalkit.", she meowed. The silver tabby molly padded over to another bed that was fresh with scents and she took it out of the den. The molly came back with fresh moss and made the new nest.

Brightpaw took the last of the moss before coming back with fresh bedding. He spread it over and around the old nest and patted it down a bit to make sure it wasn't sticking up in clumps.

Linnetwing finished up her work and walked over to her apprentice. "Now the only nest we have to clean is Petalkit's. I take you over there to meet her.", she meowed. The molly glanced over at her adopted daughter.

Linnetwing dipped her head and walked over ti Petalkit. Sh watched as the kit sat in her nest watching the other kits. "Hey Petalkit I brought you somebody to meet.", she meowed.

Petalkit stood up almost instantly and padded over to Brightpaw and Linnetwing. "You must be Brightpaw. Linnetwing told me a little bit about you.", she meowed.
