It took a bit of debating, a small occurrence of Beechkit walking back and forth, before the young beige tom decided that if he did get in trouble, he was still young enough to blame it on not knowing. Plus, after peeking out from the entrance of the nursery, it became clear that most kits were scattered about the clearing anyways. So maybe... he could go to the meeting? He had never been to one, everything seemed to big...
He just... had to do it! One paw, in front of the other, and repeat, until soon Beechkit looked up with wide, round eyes. Before him were more cats than he had ever seen in one place! Different smells, voices, shifts in body language. The young tom didn't have the slightest clue who anyone was yet, but still he sat. Happy and carefree, enjoying the crisp air that was most certainly a change in pace from the musty nursery scent.
Hopefully no one would tell him to go back inside! For now, he decided to soak it all in and turn his round blue eyes up towards Aspenstar, admiration shining in their depths.

What was that? Had his ears deceived him or did the wonderfully smart Aspenstar just assign him not one, but two apprentices?! How... Amazing! Such a great honour to even be thought of for the task. His resting smile grew as wide as he could manage, to the point it made his face hurt a bit. Where were the little guys? Cinderpaw and Bumblepaw, what splendid names for two incredible apprentices!
"I'll do my best, Aspenstar! Thank you a million for picking me for their training!" He bowed his head multiple times as he spoke, it made him dizzy, so dizzy he nearly fell over. He was just so excited for this and he wanted that excitement to rub off on the rest of the clan. "Cinderpaw! Bumblepaw! We're gonna have the absolute bestest time with your training in the next few moons!" His attention was turned away from the leader, instead his gaze searched for the younger cats, acting as eager as a kit getting apprenticed.

Huffing and groaning to himself, Bogkit flopped out of his nest and quite literally dragged himself out into the clearing after his brother, flopping down once again once he reached the clearing. "Just get it over with and tell me, I wanna go back to sleep" he complained, gazing up at Swampkit with half-lidded eyes.

With a deep huff of regret, the massive cat strode slowly towards the other tom. Was he looking forward to being mentored and monitored like a little kit? Ha! Of course not. I mean who would? On the positive side he was probably much more skilled than this 'Thrush'paw'. But then again, only time would tell.

Larkstorm eyes widened. Two apprentices? She hadn’t even considered she would be given two! She knew not anyone was given two apprentices. Did Aspenstar really think she was ready? Larkstorm supposed she was doing well with Mistpaw so far, but then had only done one training session.
But for whatever reason, she had been chosen, and she would make the best of it. She padded over to acorn paw and touched her nose to his. “I’m proud to be your mentor,” She meowed.

CrowKit began to purr loudly. He enjoyed these names, especially GoldenEye.
