Aspensky remained pressed to the ground, tail twitching absently as he wasn't concerned about being caught when his partner had already found him. He kept his sense locked on Splashfury as she crept around, using his ears and whiskers to keep track of the molly without turning his head. Whispering threats wasn't the best way to keep hidden. He couldn't keep the smile from his face. Aspensky waited until Splashfury was close enough before he sprang and twisted in Splashfury's direction. He aimed to land on top of her and pin her down but it wouldn't be hard for her to leap up and meet him in the air to foil those plans.

Watching her opponent anxiously, Splashfury wondered if she should strike first. It wasn't long until she saw Aspensky move and Splashfury leapt up startled and tried her best to collide Aspensky into the nearest tree.

Chuckling, Shadedspire got into position. "Eager, isn’t he?" while he did genuinely enjoy this chat, he would pounce! Attempting to land on the she-cat’s back and pin her down. "Sorry if I accidentally hurt you," he grunted. His claws were in their sheaths, and he didn’t intend to use them.

Salmonsong smiled starting to nod,” Y-” suddenly Shadedspire pounced on her, catching her by surprise they got her pinned, but she didn’t really quit she attempted to wriggle free a bit.

Aspensky let out a gasp as their bodies collided in air, the air escaping his body when Splashfury's momentum slammed him into a nearby tree. He had to take a moment to regain his breath, breathing hard stuck between Splashfury and the tree trunk. That didn't count as pinning did it? Hopefully not. In a quick maneuver, he placed his paws on Splashfury and intended to shove her away to give himself an opening to run.

Splashfury shook herself as she slammed Aspensky into the tree. With her bones shaking from the impact, she probably had given Aspensky a bruise somewhere. Splashfury felt a shove and saw that Aspensky had tried to shove her off and get a getaway. Wanting it to be a little more fun, she slid off to watch him run and charged at him within her power. If she caught up, she would leap onto him and pin him. If not, then she would continue trying.

With the opening provided by Splashfury, Aspensky dashed off into the brush. He wouldn't be able to keep up a sprint like that for long so he would have to think fast. Thinking back to his days of training and fighting, he took a sharp turn and sudden turn to the right and kept his eyes open for opportunity. It wasn't long before he spotted a hollow under one of the trees and he ducked into it, utilizing the surrounding brush to hopefully hide his position.

Splashfury looked around and followed along the scent trail with her paws sheathed since they were not in a real battle. Trying to see if she had found Aspensky, she thought she saw his tail.
