She smiled and punched his arm lightly. Stop! Would you laugh at him if he was in here? she asked. Unknown to most, whom think all rats are pests, rats know when their owners need attention. She felt her brow crease as she began to overthink the situation. All I meant was, rats aren't as stupid as people think. They have very human-like emotions. Did you know they giggle when you tickle their stomach? It's so adorable. she smiled and the crease in her forehead disappeared. She laughed as she thought of the first time she had played with Gato and he had bit her hand while trying to groom her.
