I’m giving you all until 10 pm EST August 8th to conclude the fight, if it is not concluded Stem will decide who has won based on fighting skill and technique.

She knew she could beat this cat but the way it was going was ... too easy. Why not try something new?

Cedarsong tried to shake her
off and have a chance of a good blow.
Surely it was self defense at this point?
When they were rolling they saw an opportunity of a blow.

They used their small size their
advantage and attempted to
squeeze out of Adder's grip. If this
was successful, they might be able to land a blow
before she could react.

the voice tried to defend her self but Shadestripe knew better.

Eldershade jerked her head back a second too slow, and the paws slammed into either side of her jaw. The blow was jarring, but not stunning as it would have been if it hit her head. It hurt, though. She'd have to remember that, give it a try sometime.

Now, though, his paws were up near her head, and she took the opportunity to plant a forepaw on his throat, bearing down with her weight. She didn't weigh very much, but certainly enough to make him uncomfortable quickly.

Quiet! Im tryin to concentrate here

Shadestripe didn't like the feeling on her paw on his
throat, he was heavier then her but his reflex was to
strike out with all his paws at once and he had to
restrain him self not to unsheathe his claws. Eldershade had
guarded her belly well and Shadestripe wasn't sure if he would
be able to do any damage there, well damage and damage, it was
just training after all. His left fore paw striked at the paw at his throat,
he wasn't even sure if he had succeeded in hitting her but at least he
got away. He stood up before looking towards her to see if his jabs had
made contact. His escape hasn't been the most graceful but it
worked... somewhat.

The strikes hit her legs and shoulder,shoving her off him, a follow through strike nearly taking her paws out from under her. Shadestripe had stood up, and Eldershade backpedaled, putting some space between.


She was panting with exertion, her nub of a tail puffed out. She laughed.


"That was really impressive," she meowed, genuine interest sparkling in her eyes. She kept a bit of distance between them, in case he was still ready to make a move. "What was the- the thing you were doing, earlier, with the paws at my head?"

And with that he lunged, head low and front paw lashing out (claw reluctantly sheathed) to try and land a bruising opening blow as he used himself as a battering ram. Of course she didnt sit still though and in a move that was surprisingly agile given her lack of a leg she shot up over him. Redshrike wasnt going to stay still either though. Planting his back paws in place and not bothering to get out from under her he reared up and twisted as she came down, paws coming up to grapple. His twist and rear would either cause them both to miss eachother or they would connect in a rough collision that'd send them both into a wrestling match. More bruises could be made if Shrewhop wasnt able to dodge even if the same was possible for him.

You pretend to get knocked down to get your opponent
close, then you slam them with both of your fore paw as hard
as you can and hope you hit he mewed and laughed.

Stemhop growled as Redshrike twisted. It threw her off and she found herself coming down right into Redshrike. She knew it would be ugly and as she realized he was going to grapple her she tried to twist so she could also grapple him. It would turn into an ugly fight with pain and bruises, but she was down for it as she found herself colliding with Redshrike hissing angrily at him, well not to angrily, he was a clanmate after all. Just practice fighting hissing.

"Smart," Eldershade meowed, admiringly. "You could aim for their throat, maybe. A punch that hard would stun a cat even with claws sheathed."

She circled, tail puffed up, and tilted her head, inviting, making her intention clear: she was ready to spar again when he was.
