Ebonyfang had been walking past the nursery, hearing a cat in pain. It was coming from the nursery. He padded inside. He looked over to see it was Berryshine. The tom padded over to her. "Bouncepaw! Bring a stick!", he called. He turned to the queen. "Try not to push until you feel a larger pain. We can't have you get tired before their ready.", he meowed in a soothing voice that was only towards queens to try and not stress them out.

"Ok" Berryshine meowed and felt another stab of pain. She never knew that getting kits would hurt this much.

Hearing his mate cry out, Embershadow raced over to the nursery and pushed his way inside. He was relieved to see that Ebonyfang was already helping. Trying to stay calm, he asked, "What can I do to help?" @Stormpoppy @Angelique

Bouncepaw came racing in with a sturdy looking stick between his teeth, he swiveled his head, finding it a bit hard to see. He padded over, placing the stick next to Berryshine.

"I-i um...i-h-hope that's o-o...okay?"

Berryshine looked at him gratefully, but felt another stab of pain. She winced but tried not to show.

Mumblekit watched the ball proudly, feeling happier when the cat had to run to get it. That's what he got for thinking she couldn't do it! That... had been what he was thinking, right? She was probably right. She stopped the ball with a white paw, then picked up the ball again. She threw it almost as soon as she picked it up, skipping the 'aim' part of the process again.

Frostkit tensed as she blindly threw and almost moved to where he thought the ball would go. He thought that it would be even worse than last time. However, the ball was almost perfect. It hit him in the chest and he fumbled for a bit, startled, before cradling it to his chest. "There you go!" he meowed. "Now try and catch it." He threw it straight at her. Maybe it would work better than lobbing.

The ball was suddenly hurtling at her. She hadn't really been paying attention, because it was drawn to something moving around as the ball flew at her companion and he talked. Boring stuff. Then she turned her head again, and boom! Right there! She ducked with a squeak, just barely avoiding the ball. He threw it that time, not softly like before. She wasn't ready for that! It could have killed her. Thunked her in the head, and bam, she'd be in the stars.
