Re: ShadowClan Medicine Cat's Den
"Uh... okay, if you think I'm qualified for this," Fawnsqueak muttered while examining the kit through wide eyes, overwhelmed by the responsibility and potential for tragedy. He wasn't a medicine cat, and just knowing the treatment didn't make him capable of saving this kit, nor did it make the kit capable of surviving another traversing through the territories. However, he noted his instructions and paused, hesitance gripping him as he considered asking this stranger for his name. All this odd binding of fate, and he didn't even know how to address him. Gently nudging Cherrykit, he ushered her toward the exit of the den.

The russet furred tom opened his eyes into slits, he glanced at Sheeplight as she asked him a question, his brows furrowed deeply as he gave a small huff in response. Why she was trying to be friendly to him? He had no idea, not the foggiest. The tom was polite but only when he was forced to communicate, if he had a choice he wouldn't even start a conversation much less respond to idle questions."....fine". Deciding to respond since he knew if he didn't reply the shecat would most likely, like most others who approached him, would chuck some sort of fit at his so called "rudeness" but hopefully this molly had atleast half a brain and know she's not wanted for conversation. Thistletongue shuffled slightly, the Shecats stare really was making him uncomfortable.'I'm not sure what I'm hating more right now the talking or the staring'. He thought this sourly to himself as the russet tom's tail curled around his paws, finally Sheeplight had stopped talking and Thistletongue went back to closing his eyes and relaxing, ignoring everyone and everything around him except the peaceful sound of birds chirping and soft wind.
Thistletongue opened his eyes again, his green gaze staring at the ground infront of him, the tom was starting to zone out, his thoughts apparently receiving the most attention from him as he thought deeply about things like, If it's possible to just up and leave without causing a big commotion in the clan? Then again his sister and others he cared about were here so the tom would probably end up missing them to some degree. Hearing Sheeplight, his ears bent back as his green eyes narrowed into slits, he pointed his gaze towards the shecat. In all honesty the peacefulness before she came was great- beautiful even and now the Tom was starting to get annoyed with the molly, he was making it obvious he didn't want to converse with her or anyone for that matter. As Sheeplight paused he huffed, maybe now the tom could just finish having a nice long break but hearing her continue to speak he had to force himself not to let out an exasperated groan of annoyance.'...StarClan has forsaken me-'. He cursed this to himself mentally. At Sheeplight's comment he merely scoffed slightly, he did agree that the clan had been quite busy but if anything it's caused him more grief then justice...right now was a clear example of the greif he was going through, his poor ears were being tortured by this endless chatter, if he wanted a conversation like this he would start it himself and if he didn't you wouldn't even hear a peep from him."No actually...if anything more mindless idiots have come up and bothered me multiple times...". He said this in a blunt and obviously annoyed tone, as he glanced back at the scernery in front of him.

her eyes started to droop, becoming so very comfortable in her spot of perfection. her motivation was also slowly draining. the molly rolled over so her back was facing the ground and she could gaze at the dawning sky. so pretty. sheeplight let her hues close, until a rough voice replied. her eyes fluttered open as she turn her head back to the russet tom. "oh, that's just stunning then, " sheeplight mew-- her eyes crinkling with amusement at thistletongue's sour expression. poor baby. she roll her shoulders, "i also feel rather content, quite amused at my existence too, " she stated. the warrior seemed to be mild uncomfortable at the fact thistletonuge was still in her spot. half her spot. it was her spot. just her's. sheeplight wasn't possessive. she just liked her spot. a lot. she swallowed speaking out against it, that would give the tom a chance to run away! no, no. she would have to endure. unless.
sheeplight's feathery tail flicker with annoyance, where you really think she didn't have much of a right to be annoyed. she wasn't really annoyed. thistletongue must have been using his juju powers to make her sour. yes. of course. bad tom. though, sheeplight blink. a bit surprised he didn't really bother to soften it. she frown, huffing. she didn't even bother to reply, she just nudged closer. to where her paw could touch thistletonuge's side. nudge. sheeplight gently pushed her paw against him, trying to make him move just a bit. just a lil bit more out of her spot. as she did this, she continued to move even closer. "oh. yes, i do suppose that seems annoying, " she mumbled out a half-ass reply, pretending as if she wasn't doing anything.
if the tom ran off, sheeplight would follow. if he didn't move, sheeplight would continue. if he downright scoffed and told her off, sheeplight would play the wonderful victim card. there was no winning for the warrior.
sheeplight suspected this was the start of a wonderful friendship! she would just have to tell briarstorm alll about it.

Thistletongue rolled his green eyes at the shecat as she mentioned she was amused at her own existence. How bothersome this shecat was, oh how he longed to want to just get up and move, he wouldn't have to deal with her talking but then he would probably have to deal with her irritating sceeching. The russet tom didn't really care if the molly responded to him because in all honesty he didn't even want to talk to her, suddenly he saw the shecat moving closer to him, ears bending back he started to glare at Sheeplight, his biggest pet peeve was others invading his personal space and hence why when the tom felt the shecat prod his side with her paw he flinched and shoved her paw away from him ignoring her half-assed response."What the hell?!". He growled slightly, the annoyance now clear on his face, he was not tolerating this shecats weird-ass attitude."Touch me again and you lose a paw". The tom wasn't being serious with his threat but he was hoping it would scare her off or something. Thistletongue scoffed as he rose to his paws, stretching slightly deciding to leave, he had enough trying to be polite, Sheeplight wasn't getting the point she was unwanted or if anything she got it but was on purposely getting on the large toms nerves. He padded across to the other side of the clearing heading towards the clan entrance to ShadowClan territory.'Sheeplight is not like anyone I have met before..So bothersome, never knew a cat could be so irritating'. He thought moodily, annoyed that his perfectly nice day got ruined because some shecat wanted to push his buttons all the way in. Thistletongue padded out into the territory taking a deep breath, starting to calm down a bit, the peaceful territory seemed to resonate that peaceful feeling. Now this was nice.

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
@Starfall
Siiiigh. Burnetsnap was really getting tired of this whole "talking to other cats" thing. Sure, it was fine when he got to see Songthorn, but then there was the first patrol... and the second. And of course, he had to have that Cardinalpaw with him. Swiping at a nearby rock and sending it flying, the gray warrior stalked to the clearing, looking around at the other cats.
Okay, well... maybe he was a little too upset about the whole thing. It was probably time to actually teach the brat something, instead of just dragging him along on patrols all the damn time.
He took a deep breath, relaxing his muscles. If he pissed off Cardinalpaw, then it would just be a really sucky day for both of them. "CARDinal—" he began to yell, but stopped himself. No, no. Burnetsnap let a small growl slip. This whole not-pissing-Cardinalpaw-off plan was not aligned with his personality in the slightest. Okay. Calm. He could do this.
"Cardinalpaw." he called out in a... less-aggressive tone. "Let's go hunting."

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Goldenwhisker padded into the clearing. He looked around, for no one in particular, and groomed himself, waiting to be sent out on patrol. His sleek, golden fur shined in the sunlight. I hope I'm sent on patrols soon, he thought. I'm only giving myself extra hairballs!

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Burdockpaw - past
This wasn't exactly the exciting adventure Burdockpaw had pictured when he'd become an apprentice. Then again, he supposed it did tend to get hyped up a lot—in reality, it was pretty boring, honestly. Maybe Burdockpaw was just being picky because he had thought there was going to be much more than this, but really, it felt more like he was still a kit than an apprentice. He was training to gain freedom, he supposed, but it wasn't really going to be what he'd expected. With a sigh, the tom gave a flick of his tail and settled down in an area of the clearing where he was visible enough to others without necessarily being in the way.
Not that he minded being in the way, nor had he ever minded, but Burdockpaw didn't feel like getting tripped over twenty times, and then lectured. StarClan, older warriors were the worst. Burdockpaw had already made up his mind that in the future, when he became an older warrior, he was never going to be like that. He was going to be someone better.
@ BILL.
Finchpaw - present
Stressed did not begin to describe Finchpaw most of the time. He found himself panicking over the smallest things, worrying about how exactly he was supposed to be a good warrior in the future if he could barely be a good apprentice now, and wondering if he was going to get caught doing something wrong at some point. Finchpaw was a pretty good rule-follower the majority of the time. Listening to authority figures was how he'd gotten through his kithood, and he was planning on it getting him through his apprenticehood as well. That being said, it was clear that he wasn't going to have a very interesting experience if he didn't think outside the box a little.
So here Finchpaw was, in the middle of the clearing, wondering how in StarClan's name he was supposed to have a good experience without going too far outside the box. Because no, he definitely did not want to bend the rules too much, and he would've been very upset if he ended up doing something remarkably stupid. So instead, Finchpaw was going to figure something else out.
And stress about it, because that seemed to be what he did best.

Re: ShadowClan Apprentices' Den
Burdockpaw - present
Exciting, Burdockpaw thought as he entered the apprentices' den, a bored expression on his features. Yeah, if he could've chosen a word to describe this place, it most certainly would not have been exciting. At this point, Burdockpaw didn't even care whose nest he was in, he just wanted to lay down. So of course, he chose the first nest that he happened to see, and stretched out in it as if he'd been doing this his entire life. The entire den smelled like ShadowClan, which was comforting (considering the fact they were in ShadowClan, it wasn't surprising, either), and Burdockpaw soon managed to get himself back together.
The tom put his head on his paws, ears flattened back against his head as he did so. This was hardly exciting, but at least his life wasn't being put in danger on a daily basis. Sure, that would've almost been preferable to boredom, but Burdockpaw also wanted to live to warriorhood. There was no way in hell he'd manage to do that if he was a mouse-brain about it.
He wasn't exactly smart when it came to not putting himself in danger, but he didn't want to be fully stupid, either.

sheeplight snickered, flashing a lopside grin of mischief. "poke. poke. poke, " she mew, nudging him more rougher after he dare threaten the molly. she was just having fun! would you hurt a kit? no, the answer is no you wouldn't. we were all kits once. therefore, cannot harm each other without being labeled as a ruthless cat with bad morals. sheeplight frown, watching the russet tom get up and step out of the borders of her beautiful spot. okay. now her spot was cleansed of clan cat's vibes-- she was still going follow thistletongue. sheeplight slowly rose to her paws, stretching her limbs that were sore from laying so long. ah. so sleepy. her tongue roll out of her mouth, yawning. her emerald eyes glazing over the camp, searching for thistle boy. aha! she pause, straightening her position. it was always rude to leave a molly chasing after you. toms these days. sheeplight saw the russet tail leaving out of the camp entrance and quickly followed it. she inhale the crisp air, glancing around at the scenery. leaf-bare was always nice while other smay beg to differ. sheeplight could blend in better and was still warm from her fluffy hair. yet, she trudge heavily on the snow. very easily to be found out. she was approaching the warrior from the behind, not saying much as she sat down next to him. just gazed ahead in the distance, letting out a wistful dramatical sigh. then words of wisdoms escaped her mouth,"poke. you're in my spot, " sheeplight mew. turning her head to stare at thistletongue.

Re: ShadowClan Medicine Cat's Den
"What in StarClan is going on?" Bearpaw growled as he entered his den, "I leave to speak with Icestar for two seconds, and all I hear is–"
He was shocked to see nobody but Thunderhowl within his den. He could have sworn he heard yelling? "Did I miss something? Is everything okay?" Bearpaw asked, taking a seat beside his mentor. There was a faint smell of...fish? He couldn't quite put his nose on it, but something felt off.

Re: ShadowClan Leader's Den
"Um...that's a pretty good way to word it." Bearpaw entered and took a seat in front of his leader. "Our journey was safe, and I made contact with StarClan, but..."
He didn't want to tell her. What would she say? What would she do to him? Swallowing his fears away, Bearpaw inhaled and exhaled slowly before continuing. "We encountered a dog on our way home. Peachpaw...he saved me, but I'm afraid he didn't make the journey. I'm very sorry..." He bowed his head in respect for Peachpaw and Icestar, feeling shamed that he could not save his friend.
