BRANCHPAW
The apprentice slowly walked out of the apprentice den and settled near the edge, his ears perked as he looked up at Fadingsun, awaiting to hear the meeting.

DOEDAPPLE
Hearing the call of the meeting, Doedapple sulked out of the warrior's den, her eyes narrowing into a slight glare as she sighed in disdain. RiverClan had been failing, yet she thought things may be heading for a better future potentially. She looked up in boredom at Fadingsun, her tail lashing back and forth.

PIGEONPELT
The molly gracefully made her way over to the group of gathering cats and settled down near the middle, her pelt flashing healthily under the sunshine. Eyes bright, she turned to look around quietly, not bothering to start much conversations as of now.

jayfrost hadnt really attended the last few gatherings, always either out of camp or in a corner battling another wave of headaches and stabbing pain, but this time he lifted himself onto three legs and limped closer to the floodstone. tail curled around his paws he sat, glancing around for any of his friends and briefly regretting that he had come over in the first place.

At Fadingsun´s call, Fogmuzzle bounded out into the clearing from inside the warriors´ den and made her way over to the Floodstone, finding a spot beside a Clanmate and sitting back on her haunches.

Her mind had been reeling in the recent days, given everything that was going on. Sleep still wouldn't come, so Dusklion's jaws parted in a huge yawn as she sat off to the side of camp, peeking at the work that Troutstone had done. It looked good enough. Her brother's call though brought her attention to the Floodstone and she blinked. Stars, she still did not like the name for their meeting place.

Regardless the small dark tabby stood up and trotted over towards the gathering crowd, taking up a spot in the back. She didn't have any intention to talk to anyone during this meeting, mainly because she knew what was coming, and she still wasn't sure how her Clan viewed her. It made anxiety gnaw at her heart, the self-doubt doubling down, but Dusk did her best to push it away and lift her blue gaze up towards her brother.

Just as she was feeling the anxiety die down a bit, a flash of gray fur caught her eye. Immediately the head Lionheart stiffened, eyes shooting to the base of the stone. Where... where was it? It was just there? Dusklion scanned the area quickly, pressing her paws harder into the ground. It was... gone now. After a moment or two, the head Lionheart let out a soft breath and closed her eyes in an attempt to regain her composure. Once she was certain that any lingering emotion was free from her eyes she glanced back up towards Fades.

☘︎ The she-cat flicks her tail as she walks up to the floodstone. She was leaving from the medicine den after having some issues breathing. Yawning, she takes a seat on the edge of the clearing, getting a good view of what was going on up there. Stars, she hopes that Fades doesn’t announce her return, as she believes it’s not that big of a deal. Pebblesplash watches the meeting.

Owltalon had just gotten back from a very sandy place as she shook piles of golden sand out of her dark fur. When she'd finally shook out the last of it, the call of her leader roared to life on the Floodstone. Perfect timing! Now she'll look presentable.

"Reporting for duty," she said to nocat but herself. She sat very close to the Floodstone to the point of which she had to look up and crane her neck wildly to actually meet Fadingsun's eyes. Not that she cared anyways. Being this close was always beneficial for her, considering her poor eyesight.

She curled her bushy tail around herself as she scanned the meeting place. Cats were pouring in, hopefully to listen this time. She flashed a smile at anycat she could just to show her support. Plus, smiling just felt good in general. Who wouldn't wanna smile?

Another meeting, so soon?
Well, not much actually happened last time, he guessed, so maybe this is to be expected. Fadingsun looked to be in a good mood. Maybe he thought it would encourage a pleasant meeting. Roseshard wasn't optimistic, though.
The russet-and-black tabby plopped himself down in the clearing near the Floodstone. "You seem happy," he mewed to the cat beside him as he waited for the rest of his Clan-mates to arrive, and for the meeting to start.

He side eyed her as he awaited her response, and recognised who she was. He cringed inwardly at himself, even as his face remained opaque.
That probably sounded rude.

A stray vision

Roseshard looked up at his mentor. It felt odd, having such vibrant feelings of disgust without pricking fur or a roiling stomach that would usually come with it. Words rose unbidden to his lips. He wanted to shout and yell abuse at this cat who was supposed to have trained him, but the words that fell came in the tone of a nervous apprentice.
"Slightfur? I was- I was wondering if we could practice my hunting skills today..."

The older cat turned his slow gaze on Roseshard, the indifference in his gaze clear as river water. He had the sleek and puffy fur of a cat who spent a lot of time grooming himself. His sides, even for a RiverClan cat, were padded with an extra layer of fat.
"Oh, sorry Rosepaw. I am not feeling in to it today."

With that, he turned away dismissively. No promise for another time. No effort. Nothing.
Roseshard knew that his father would not have approved of a new mentor. He would have called it ungrateful and disloyal. He would have said all he needed to was get used to it. So Roseshard suffered along in silence.
