Tigerleap turned her gaze to see Plumpaw dashing over to Nightclaw. She could see that Plumpaw was telling Nightclaw off. Tigerleap sighed, she knew it was disrespectful. But at the same time, she wasn´t surprised that Nightclaw didn´t want to listen to Duskstar. Tigerleap knew he didn´t like Duskstar, she could tell from the way he looked at their leader. But the tortoiseshell she cat just shook her head. She wanted to walk over to them, but she didn´t. She had to keep listening to what Duskstar had to say.

Sunsnow nodded with a sigh, turning back to Buckbranch.

¨Sorry. I've got a patrol to lead."

He padded away, feeling the emptiness swallow him up once more the moment he was unable to look into his love's eyes anymore. He wished there would be a day where he could just stare into them forever. But enough fantasies, it was time to get going!

Sunsnow shook out his pelt and called; "Mosspaw! Cranerose! Don't make me leave without you!"

The orange-yellow tom swallowed down the bile that rose in his throat.

Already making decisions for the clan, are we, Duskfeather?

Well, Sunsnow certainly wasn't happy. Then again, Flinstar had agreed to it...

Whatever. I'll never call her Duskstar, not as long as she poses as leader!

With an irritated snort, the warrior tom flicked his tail and padded away.

Buckbranch would have been far better.

Wow! I get to witness the changing of a deputy to a leader- not every cat gets to see that in their lifetime! WOW!

"Duskstar! Duskstar!", he said aloud.

Brightpaw happily called out the names with vigor: "Duskstar! Lionwhisker!"

Ferretwatcher flicked his tail, joining everyone in the chant briefly.

"Now, now, there's no need to be in such a hurry", Cranerose reassured, but got to her paws and headed towards the cat with a hightened pace anyways. It was such a lovely day, and anything at the border would now would probably be there when they arrived, too. It was better to arrive in good shape and with a focused mind. Joined at Sunsnow's side, she continued to pad forward.
"To the border, then?"

This... This was certainly a change. Cranerose watched the cats cheering for the new medicine cat, and perhaps for the words spoken themselves. I don't think it's a bad one, though. Family? A strong clan, where everyone is respected and protected? That was what Cranerose was all about. It would especially be a relief to rely on her clan when her kits came.
"Lionwhisker! Duskstar! Flintspirit!" she joined with glee.

It looked like Starclan had accepted the change in Thunderclan, and Mintfrost looked into the crowd to try to see the faces of those who were against it before...wondering if they were adamant in their resolution to be unsupportive of the clan's future. It almost seemed like a disloyalty to the clan to have their hearts completely enslaved to a single leader without thinking about the clan overall. Shaking the thoughts away, Mintfrost cheered for the new ranks, glad it was not just a show of his opinion this time as it had been at the previous meeting but was actually a welcome to them.

Flamepelt curled in her nest her throat a little sore but she didn't mind it. She was about to call her kits over for a nap when she started coughing harshly "Ivy-" The queen was cut off by a harsh coughing fit. "I-Ivykit!" She managed to yowl harshly "Thornkit come here!" And another harsh cough. @Sneakyfox55 {Flamepelt is developing greencough so I suggest being careful rping with or around her!}

Hmm, he didn't see any of his patrol members step up after Flintspirit called them..

"Hey, guys! Dawnblossom, Hazelpaw, Blizzardspark! I know it's kinda early but dudes, we gotta get going to the border!"

If none of them came soon.. he'd just go alone, Bluegorse guessed.
