Owlkit tried to dodge Cottonkit's, but got hit by his paw. He stumbled back, but was able to grab the leaf from Cottonkit. "Got you!" he giggled. Then, he realized he had been kind of mean. I hope I didn't make Cottonkit angry, he thought. He's my only friend. I'll try to be nicer. He padded over to Cottonkit. "Are you ok?" he asked.

Fernpaw held up her paw to Irispaw, trying not to look directly at it. "I guess... My paw really hurts though, there's a pine needle stuck in it." Looking vaguely annoyed, she glared at her injured foot. "Would you mind helping me?" The apprentice smiled questioningly at the med cat.

As she introduced herself, the older female looked down with those intimidating eyes, though speaking out with a gentle tone, "I'm Slatepaw. It's great to meet you, little one." Her emerald eyes peered into the intimidating ones, it slightly scared the little kit but her adopted sister, Ebonykit was worse. Shaking off her fear Duskkit bounced around the laying molly. "What does slate mean? I know what dusk means. My Mama told me its when the sun is coming up!" Recalling Citrusflower's stories and explaining why she was named Duskkit.

The dark russet molly moved over to allow her clan-mate to get a better view. "So what sounds good to you?" Her sapphire eye looked at Russetpatch. Her breath hitched for a heartbeat, Whoa...

Citrusflower walked out of the nursery, wanting to get a breath of fresh air. She wanted to leave camp for a while, but would need an escort into the territory, since she couldn't see worth nothing. You would think her hearing and her scent was strong enough, but it wasn't. She still managed to run into things.

The calico molly padded over to the fresh kill pile and pulled out a mouse. She took it over to a spot by the nursery and sat down to eat. The forever queen hadn't eaten all day and nobody had brought her any. Citrusflower would have a talk with Beastspark soon about it.

jaykit softly smiled at his ma, bumping his head gently against the soft furry chest of minksong's in an affectionate gesture. a purr rumbled in his throat. even if he didn't get a direct answer if the sun could wait a bit.. maybe nettlespark knew about it? jaykit's eyes flicker towards his father, the grin on his face growing ever wider. he finally joined into the chaos of his sisters. ''d..dad! dad! dad! s..sunrise! sunrise!" the tom chanted, jumping up and down as he giggled.

Quailkit squeaked in horror as Minksong began grooming her mane, "No, mom!!! Warriors don't wake up to groom, we wake up to HUNT!" She squirmed out of her mother's paws, lost her footing, then fell flat on her face.

Unfazed, Quailkit shot straight back up on her paws and puffed her chest out, "I'm okay!" She turned to face her siblings and flashed a smile. "Come on, Jaykit! You gotta come see the sunrise with us!" She giggled, bouncing circled around her father with her sister Frogkit.

Though the moment her eyes caught that huge plum looking mouse by her father's paws, she stopped in her tracks and gasped. "Marshgorse...what. Is. That!!!!?" She pointed her tail at the ugly looking thing, green eyes glittering with interest as she sniffed and pawed playfully at it.

"Yeah." Cottonkit grumbled. He glared at him but quickly it turned back to a smile. He jumped up at him suddenly, his paws reached out for the leaf.

Owlkit laughed and hissed back at Cottonkit. I'm glad we're still friends. he thought. I was lonely before. He bounded away from Cottonkit and toward a small tree, climbing up high enough that Cottonkit couldn't get him. "Try to get me now! He squealed.

Slatepaw watched the little one's eyes shutter with fear of her own, but she was used to this sort of reaction. Her pure size made her frightening, let alone those eyes adding to the fear. This was part of the reason she was still laying; she didn't want to frighten the little one more by her mass. "Slate is a type of black rock. Can you guess why I'm named that?" There was a small sarcastic purr in her chest, though she wouldn't be surprised if the other responded with an actual answer. Kits were silly, bubbly creatures.

The tom let out a chuckle his light amber gaze held playfulness "It's a rat Quailkit." He explained "You eat it." Nudging the prey towards them. The stood and padded towards the exit before he looked over his shoulder "Maybe one day or even today I could take you out." He suggested then disappeared. @Fae @Arie @shortstack @x ghostie
