"Oh my word." Dawnstripe mutters as one single kit manages to get on the nerves of multiple cats. Hailstorm was clearly lacking control over him. This was almost painful to watch. If he accidentally lost his tongue he'd still be useful to the clan and they wouldn't have to listen to the lies coming from his maw. Sadly, boring Snowpeach managed to silence him down without any violent. Back to the boring oaf on the branch. Falconpaw still got yelled at which was a little amusing, shouldn't Hailstorm also be getting a scolding he was her apprentice!

Silentpaw steps up when she hears her name called out. She didn't really want another mentor her last one was terrible. Still, she reluctant looks around for this Ashclaw while suppressing her urge to giggle at Falconpaw. She didn't get way all the cats were getting so riled up about what was being said. She had no clue what these emotions Falconpaw was talking about. Maybe it was some weird sickness that attacks when you were a big cat? She should see about asking him, once she figured out how, one of these days. As Falconpaw leaves the meeting unexpectedly, Silentpaw felt a little bad for him. It wasn't his fault all the grownup were having a baby fit! She'd see about going check on him as soon she was done here.

Whiteshadow widen his eyes when he found he'd be getting another apprentice. The amount of apprentices he's gone thought was alarming. If one more disappeared he might call it quits and retire early. Being mindful of his tail, the massive white warrior wandered overand located his new apprentice, Slatepaw, he bowed his head to touch noses with her. "I will train you to the best of my abilities so long as you don't vanish like the others."

"Nice try," Hailstorm smirked. "Who's the mud butt now?" She shook herself off as well and paced back to where she had been before.

"Let's try that again. Try to hold on this time so I don't throw you off so easily. The key is to catch your opponent off-balance so you can pin them by the shoulders." She squared herself up, pretending to be an attacker.

The Torbie shook her head. "Flintspirit has requested no messages be delivered. I come on my own terms," she responded, her voice low. Duskstar briefly took note of the faint rasp in Icestar's voice, though she did not question it. There were other matters to discuss with her fellow leader.
"ThunderClan has had a change of leadership. I come to you as Duskstar, and Flintspirit now stands as my deputy. And this," she pointed toward the other ThunderClanner that had come on the journey, "is Lionwhisker, our new medicine cat. He has come to request training from a tom named Thunderhowl, who I was told lived within your Clan." Duskstar nodded her head in a formal greeting, ears perked to intently listen to anything the ShadowClan leader had to say. She would wait until they were in a more secluded place to speak of her reason for coming, as well as awaiting the arrival of the other Clan's deputy.

Hailstorm sighed as Falconpaw was scolded by the deputy, and watched as he left the clearing. She didn't try to stop him, though. Best to just let him go blow off steam somewhere he wouldn't be causing trouble.

At Dawnstripe's voice, the gray warrior cringed, folding her ears back. Her sister had only said one sentence, but somehow she could still feel that it was directed at her. Or was she overthinking it? I shouldn't even care, she thought, casting a sidelong glance at the dark she-cat. I haven't even seen much of her around lately, anyways.

"Flintstar--Flintspirit has resigned?" Icestar was surprised, but only for a moment. She rolled her eyes lightly. "Sounds about right. He always was quite the pushover, wasn't he? I'm honestly surprised you didn't demote him to warrior status." She chuckled dryly.

"And you expect Thunderhowl to train your medicine cat as well as ours, do you? He's already training your last one, which Tallmarsh couldn't be bothered to do herself. I assume this means you still plan on honoring the alliance that I began with Flintspirit?" Surely if Duskstar was asking for help, she was going to give something in return. Icestar wasn't a cat to just give things away for free. Loyalty and assistance came at a price.

Ears perking up at the two she cats talking, he caught icestar speaking about Thunderhowl. ....but I need training ... he inched over and stood beside Duskstar but kept quiet until icestar finished " so I take that as a no then..." Lionwhisker finally meowed as he exchanged glances between the two . To be honest he was at lost..and actually felt more comfortable around dusk right now...atleast until Thunder or the deputy showed up.

Duskstar's eyes narrowed and she glanced at Lionwhisker as he approached. She ignored the comment made about Flintspirit. "StarClan shared such information with us, and so we have followed their advice. Tallmarsh was agreeably an incompetent medicine cat, and thus that is why I have chosen to replace her. She had refused to train Lionwhisker herself- not that I entrust her to do so in the first place- and so we need a cat with the knowledge of medicine to teach Lionwhisker."
She straightened her posture, head tilted up slightly to look at the larger she-cat. "I was not aware that medicine cats helping others required a debt to be paid in return. The alliance between our Clans will not be continued, and whether or not Thunderhowl trains Lionwhisker is not my choice to make." The Torbie's tail flicked in faint irritation- keeping the alliance, which was a horrible agreement in the first place, in return for a medicine cat being trained? Apparently peace shared between medicine cats didn't exist anymore... how idiotic. She thought medicine cats could share useful knowledge about healing with each other without requiring a debt to be paid or permission to be requested. Apparently she was wrong, and such information left a spark of irritation in her gut.

The large black she-cat watched as her new mentor approach with wide eyes. He was massive! She couldn't help but feel a little giddy about that... Maybe that was why he was assigned to her. The large should teach the large. Her dagger-like green gaze met back with her new mentor as she met his touch sternly, "I won't be going anywhere." She stated with determination, those intimidating eyes glinting. @Moonraven

The she paused, then hesitantly padded to the branch. Her mottled fur was matted from a bush she had fallen in. SHe looked AWFUL.

Falconpaw scooped a ball of the muddy slush in his paw and chucked it toward Hailstorm. "You!"

More seriously, he narrowed his eyes at her instructions and he flanked around her side, making a leap for her back to land on her shoulders.
