Vixensnarl padded to the base of the Shadowledge with an annoyed frown on her face. It seemed that cats still thought it was acceptable to slack off, though Spiritfire and Tallpaw seemed to have some sort of explanation. "Spiritfire [ @Rizo ], you reported the patrol late and can report to Dawnstar for punishment. I know you had some sort of explanation, so this would be the time to give it to her. Sootstorm [ @~Mothman~ ], I never got a report from you on the patrol so you will also see Dawnstar for punishment. Tallpaw [ @Wings ] and Rowanpaw [ @Peerless cucumber], you two come here and give me your explanations."

Aw crowfood. He looked at Rowanpaw. This was parshially his fault as well. If he had shown up earlier, Sootstorm would have been able to check in earlier. He hated to be like this, but if he was going to get in trouble, so was Rowanpaw.

The tom bowed his head in shame. "I waited for Rowanpaw everyday, Dawnstar. By the time he finally showed up, there wasn't enough time to report. I apologize."
He cursed the apprentice in his mind. If only he'd shown up earlier. Then Sootstorm would have been able to report.
Shadowfur padded out into the open clearing of ShadowClan’s camp. If this hunting patrol didn’t all come together, then he’d be sorely disappointed. “Darkfall!” he called. “Come join me for a hunting patrol.” Swiveling his green gaze across camp, he added, “And Larkfire! If you’d like to join us, you’re welcome.” Since Larkfire was the same rank as he, Shadowfur knew he couldn’t order her to come along.

Ears swiveling in Shadowfur's direction as the tall dark-furred tom called out her name alongside Darkfall's, Larkfire briefly inclined her head is acknowledgement before slinking over, tail sweeping against the ground. "Alright then."

Shadowfur’s fur was fluffed out to about twice its normal size, guarding him against the cold. As much as he didn’t really feel like taking a hunting patrol out, he felt it had to be done. His patrol with Poisonpaw had only produced two pieces of prey, and that wouldn’t be enough to feed the Clan for long.
“Shadowheart ( @Swiftheart <3 ) and Juniperdusk ( @dizzy )!” he called. “Come join me for a hunting patrol. We’ll be going to the Croaking Swamp.” He sat down on the cold, hard earth and waited for his patrolmates.

Shadowfur had spotted Shadowheart around camp, so that meant she hadn’t gone missing. The Enforcer was growing quite tired of cats not completing their assigned patrols. Too many warriors were taking Clan life for granted and not pulling their own weight.
“Shadowheart!” he called, the beginnings of a snarl rumbling in his throat. “Since you couldn’t even be bothered to drag your ass out for the patrol you were ordered to complete, you will be punished. Go to the Croaking Swamp and catch three pieces of prey. Don’t come back until you’ve done that. I don’t care if it takes you all day.”
