Well, that did not do anything.
Dogbark could have just yelled gibberish for all that speech did.
StarClan, he was so. damn. tired of this.
If this clan could just stop yelling that’d be great, but it wasn’t going to happen, not in a million years.
Sighing deeply, he turned to address Lynxfuzz, who was being nothing but a pot-stirrer, “Great StarClan, is anyone in this clan mature enough to know when to shut their maws and be quiet? Lynxfuzz, I am disappointed in you, you had one job I gave to you, a simple task, escort Spiderthroat to the border, but you have to rile everyone up more, hm? Of course! It’d be blasphemy not to, wouldn’t it?? Hell, what shall I say to anyone looking to join our Clan, then? Welcome to ThunderClan! Home of chaos and pot-stirring! Mind you watch your step around clan meetings, they always explode into yelling when someone gets pissy!” [ @Papaya ]
Taking a few deep breaths to keep himself from doing something he’d regret later, Dogbark gave a small, very small smile when he heard Cornpaw. What the apprentice said was very stupid, and very silly, but he was trying to defend ThunderClan’s tradition… and Dogbark, so that earned him one of the smallest of nods. [ @sid ]
Seeing Quillpaw make her way over to Lynxfuzz, Dogbark repressed an odd look, it was clear Lynxfuzz had the apprentice’s support, though Dogbark couldn’t understand why. [ @arden ]
Bignest now decided to put in his own two cents, and what he said was quite honestly ridiculous, and had it been another day, Dogbark would have laughed in the elder’s face, but he kept quiet, Buckbranch had said the right thing. [ @Zesty Mango @/Papaya ]
Softpaw was leaving the meeting, and Dogbark felt quite… sick to say the least. The poor kid had only been trying to defuse the situation, she had said some truth, violence indeed was the nature of felines, but it didn’t mean that violence was the only way. Softpaw was going places, for certain, she had a healthy outlook on problem solving. But the part that made him sick was how both Spiderthroat and Lynxfuzz had completely disregarded her words just because she was young, and that reminded the Deputy about how he had felt when his own words were disregarded by the cats older than him when he was only an apprentice. He wanted badly to find a way to help her, but he couldn’t up and leave the meeting, not now, not while so many problems were happening at once. He could only feel empathy, and he wished it was enough. [ @WinterMara ]
Tired eyes watched Sundust as he spoke against Spiderthroat’s ideals, and that relieved a small, minuscule bit of the troubles in Dogbark’s mind and made him think that perhaps the clan hadn’t all lost their minds. Once Sundust congratulated Sagepaw, he had turned to leave, but not before giving a nod to Dogbark, which Dogbark returned, hopeful that perhaps the clan was not crumbling completely. [ @Naiad ]

Aspenpaw almost bursted into a sprint when he smelled thunderclan, he was home! He had been traveling for so long! And then it hit him, he still had to talk to aspenstar or dogbark and see if they would let him in. But he had to get in he had to see his sister. He had to come home! But he knew it wasn’t promised
Padding back in through the camp entrance, Sparrowflight gave a quick shake of her pelt to rid it of the dusting of snow that had accumulated on her hunt and location of the two rascals trekking along in front of her. Well at least she had a vole to show for her recent hunting trip, but more importantly these two hadn't gotten into any trouble or gotten hurt. Whether either of them would get sick from being out in the cold too long was up in the air, but for their sakes Sparrowflight hoped that no illness would be incurred due to their galivanting in the snow.
"Now you two stay here for a moment please. I'll be right back" she murmured before quickly padding off to drop her vole onto the freshkill pile and... was that mint? The scent almost bowled her over once she no longer had a piece of prey in her jaws and she winced just slightly once she saw who the smell was wafting from.
Loudbird... Well might as well check if they've seen the deputy about.
Clearing her throat as she padded over, Sparrowflight forced a smile onto her face. "Good day Loudbird! How goes your um..." She gave a quick glance to the crown of mint placed on her head before focusing her attention back on the precocious she-cat. "...scent masking practices?"
Stars, she sounded ridiculous. Hopefully she wouldn't be stuck here too long, the scent of mint was starting to make her nose tickle.
Ah! Not exactly the attention the she-cat craved, but Sparrow…whatever would have to do for now. “Hah! You are funny, Sparrowflap. If you didn’t notice, it is perfume, silly!”
She gave a grin, “Oh… and I see you have these two…” She blinked at the plain-looking children who accompanied her, “…rugrats accompanying you. For what reason, Sparrowwing, may I ask?”
Loudbird simply didn’t understand children, they were quite boring, and too much of a hassle, and to be hanging out with some, StarClan! Not that she judged cats by their friends, but certainly Sparrowfeather could do better!

without moving she said "i am Darkice and i want to join"
Dogbark was frustrated by the simple words, he wasn’t going to let some random cat into ThunderClan without further explanation! “But why?” He asked, green eyes ablaze with distrust, “Why do you want to join? And why should I let you? I have no idea who you are besides a name!”
He was...he was deputy??? Wow! Thats so cool! Not that they knew what a deputy was, of course, but it still sounded cool as heck (excuse his language)!! They bounced a couple steps closer to Dogbark, leaping at him with paws outstretched. It may initially look like an attack to him, but what it really wanted was a huge! It wasn't everyday that you met a cat as cool as him! "Wowwww! You're so super cool! One day, when I grow up, I'm gonna be just like you!"
At the mention of its family, it went to bury its face in dogbarks chest fur, "I don' know where they are...." it mumbled, their energy level a stark contrast to what it was just moments before.
Dogbark recoiled at the hug, surprised and first thinking it an attack, but it for sure was a hug. You’re so super cool!
Dogbark, despite being a little ruffled by this sudden affection, couldn’t help but feel a tiny bit of pleasure at having been called “cool”.
The fact that (despite probably having no idea what a Deputy was) Flea wanted to be just like him when he was older also touched the battle-hardened tom. Sure, every cat wanted to be Deputy, but the fact that Flea wanted to be just like him without even knowing him first was touching.
Dogbark gave a small sigh from his nose as the kit confirmed his thoughts, “I… I’m sorry, Flea… that must be hard for you…” He thought for a second, and then remembered that there must be plenty of queens in the nursery who would be willing to take on this orphan, so he put his paw on Flea’s head to pat him, “You know what, how about you come back to ThunderClan camp with me, hm? You will be well taken care of, and you can even get a new name, Fleakit! How about that?” Normally he wouldn’t be so instantly eager to let this guy in, but c’mon! He’d lost his family!

Dogbark didn’t sheathe his claws, but he stood upright, glaring at the tom. “You’d think a former apprentice of mine would at least remember my name. Where were you, Softshadow?” There was an edge in his voice.

And judging by the tone in which his Clanmate spoke, Moonprance was not back in ThunderClan.
Sniffling a bit, Sunchaser lifted his head again, forcing himself not to shrink back against judging gaze of the deputy. This was his punishment, he knew, for abandoning ThunderClan, even though it had felt like they had already forgotten about him. "Oh, s-sorry Dogbark," he rumbled apologetically, bowing a bit to showcase the respect he knew the deputy sought. Swallowing nervously, he continued, "I, uh, was living out in an old fox's den just outside the border. There... uh, wasn't much to eat but I made do. But I kept having these... dreams. Of Moonprance. A-And ThunderClan. And... well... I just miss my home." He ignored the comment about being well-fed, because well, he hadn't been, but Sunchaser had never been one to argue with anyone, especially not authority. Plus from the way he appeared - all fluff and little muscle - he probably did look well fed, despite the hunger that gnawed at his belly.
His throat felt tight, restricted still, green eyes still avoiding the piercing look of Dogbark. He had never been good at interaction with his Clanmates - between the anxiety and the convincing thought that none of them ever wanted to talk to him, he generally did his duties and stayed on the outside. Most never took notice of him during events because he was usually trying to tread water during them and now allow himself to sink under the chaos of it all. Sucking in a quick breath now, Sunchaser attempted to draw himself up and look Dogbark in the eye, though his whiskers quivered as he did so.
Seeing the bow, Dogbark snapped his tail, “Oh, get up, I’m not a King, nor am I going to eat you or anything.”
Hearing how the tom had little to eat, Dogbark felt bad for the well-fed comment. Leave it to him to keep getting things incorrect!
He listened to the rest of the tom’s story, which included dreams, and some miserable noises. “I apologize for the well-fed comment, Sunchaser, that was a mistake, and I shouldn’t have assumed… Anyway, as long as you promise to do more for this clan, extra patrolling, hunting, etcetera, I suppose… I suppose I can let you rejoin.”
He spoke with his usual rumble, but he felt pity for his former clanmate, after all, despite being missing for some time, Sunchaser was clearly the same old Sunchaser. Dogbark didn’t expect him, of all cats, to be one to betray the clan.

'VM me tomato'
Hello... I like to watch RWBY and RWBY Ice Queendom. I like to read, play games, draw, and make roleplays. I do make roleplays on documents too, send me a visitor message if you want to join one or want to ask me to make one.
Sage green eyes, once clouded with tears, immediately brightened up a bit as they felt the pats on their head. It felt nice to have a cat comfort them like this! A small purr left them as they nuzzled further into the scarred toms fur, paws wrapping around his front. "Yeah! I wanna be with you!" and, they meant it. Even if they didn't know this cat...at all...they could already tell he was super duper neat! And who didn't want to be around someone cool?
A moment of silence passed before a thought entered its mind, "Whats Thunderclan?" it asked curiously, gazing up at Dogbarks face with wide eyes.
He listened as Dogbark spoke up, as Lynxfuzz egged him on. How an Apprentice suddenly materialized and spoke about how cool he was. Which was awkward. How was he supposed to respond to that. Because yea...he was trying to be cool, but not so cool he was being praised for it. Just cool enough for other's to look back at what he said and be like 'yea he was right.'
His tail flicked back and fourth, taking his time to process his response. He didn't understand...why wasn't he realizing what was happening. Nonstop, everytime, for moons now. Starclan was giving them the wrong high ranks. Starclan was giving them duds...on purpose. Starclan was waiting for Thunderclan to fail.
Finally, after trying to think of an eloquent way to put his thoughts, Spiderthroat just net out a snort and gave the Deputy a smug look. "My way is only incorrect because I've spoken up against you." he stated simply. "I'm sorry you think it's random. I think it's a trend. Sumthn I've noticed happenin non stop for the past." he drawled out, turning to look at Wildspark ( @Angelique ) with a quirked brow.
"It only sounds stupid because it's new. It's different. What. Have you lived through a moon with out High Ranks. How do you know what it's like?" he asked, turning his attention to the sudden sea of cats who appeared. "Change isn't stupid...and truth be told. Havin Ranks chosen for us, instead of by us, isn't workin'. It's not all chaos and horribleness. How could it possibly be worse than what's hapenin now?" he asked aloud. Blue gaze sweeping over everyone.
Once again, another Warrior ( @Naiad ) gave their two cents, accusing him of disregarding the statement of the Soft (haha) Apprentice. With a snort the Calico lowered his head with a bounce. "Who said anythin about me not takin in account what she said. I didn't say she was dumb, or wrong. I told her she was too young to understand my standpoint." he refuted. "You're puttin a lot of words in my mouth. I'd suggest you speak for yourself an only yourself. Anarchy isn't easy, as you can see and compared to what's been happenin for the past seasons. I feel it's about time for a change. Hearing what other's are throwin in, a few of our clanmates are thinkin the same." he said.
Tilting his head to the side he looked at the Warrior dead in the eyes. "Do you know what Insanity means? Sundust? It's doing the same thing over n over again...expectin a different result. Look at me and tell me, with no hesitation, that we're not listenin to Starclan, expectin them to Give Us a Leader who is doin everythin in their power to help ThunderClan strive, and expect them to make ThunderClan better than the sorry, pathetic clan it is."

Life is full of detours, and roundabout paths
Live as you wish, go ahead and live.
Life, before you realize it, is like an arrow
Let's set off the fireworks of our lives.
Her tail tip trembled. Looks like her deputy was taking it upon himself to end the meeting for her. This was a bad situation. ¨Pondkit ( @Angelique ), Swiftkit ( @Binx ) and Sagekit ( @sid ), I apologize... again... for the long wait. Don't return to the nursery, you will start your training, now. Pondkit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Pondpaw. Your mentor will be Redrock ( @Jae ). Swiftkit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be called Swiftpaw. Your mentor is Larkstorm ( @Raven~ ). And Sagekit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Sagepaw. Your mentor will be Mallardstep ( @Mistletoe ).''
She turned her icy glare to her deputy, whom she felt a large sum of fury towards. Now that the criticism was directed at him, he was trying to make her look worse than she already did. Cowardly. And now he was accusing her of 'bombing it' by not receiving the prophecy telling them their next medicine cat.''You say I'm bombing it when I'm still waiting for this prophecy? And you seemed to be quite an advocate for your challengers to leave the Clan, but when I have cats speaking out against me, you side with them because instead of calling out your failures, they were calling for your promotion instead.'' Nausea. Pure nausea swept through her. She needed air.
''This meeting is dismissed.'' Magical words, honestly. She should have said them sooner. Taken less time with this cursed meeting. Her devastated yellow hues swept across camp, then she padded silently down from the Thunderwillow and exited camp. Once she was out of sight, she ran. Aspenstar ran to the one place she could go to breath.
More cats were yelling with even more nonsensical ideas. Mallardstep was starting to feel fatigued. Anarchy? Seriously? He thought with a shake of his head. Obviously these cats, himself included, weren’t very good at making decisions together. To suggest they all be in charge of all their decisions after witnessing all of this was madness. There was no way it would hold any water. His clanmates were already speaking out against it. His word would just be one in one million. Empty noise. He kept silent.
“What!” Aspenstar, finally, spoke up. His maw fell open. He couldn’t keep the exclamation from coming out. Him? Have an apprentice? That was a ludicrous idea! He was the laziest, most good for nothing cat in the whole clan! His heart sunk, rapidly. Other cats should have this responsibility, not him! Cats who would do a good job and not just botch it up! His head slowly turned to Sagepaw. Should I apologize in advance? He thought.
