Hyrah noted that his conversational partner seemed wrapped up in another conversation. Though now feeling as though he lacked understanding company. As he straightened out his tailored suit, he stood back and watched the world around him. He began to wander about the large ballroom, eyes resting occasionally on people in mid-conversation, or people dancing like they knew one another.
Must've been nice to be so socially daring.

Azabelle weaved in and out of the crowd, wondering what the girl was on about. Maybe she'd seen him once before? He stopped at the sight of Hyrah, not particularly overdressed well, not in my opinion, he thought. His mask was strange, though. He hummed on his way over and stopped in front of him, his smile was still reflected as on his mask as he stared at the man in front.

At the sight of someone wearing extravagant clothes, donned with loads and loads of feathers -- Even more so than a bird -- Hyrah stepped back, surprised he was even approached by the other. Clearly, this was a person of nobility.

He cocked his head. Was this man afraid of him? He leaned further in, studying him. He heard a soft clunk as he knocked into him, face to face, but didn't move. "Would it defeat the purpose of this ball if I asked who you were?" he was still staring. Unblinking, until he got a response.

Hyrah with brows raised blinked in confusion, though didn't move from the odd position. What was this person doing?
"I believe it would." Hyrah responded to the man's query.

"You're right. I won't pry." he pulled back, scratching his head. "You look positively dead." he chuckled softly.

Hyrah smiled slightly, somewhat amused by the other's comment. "You're the second one to say something along the lines of that to me tonight." He commented. "Do I look that bad?"

"No, no! I wasn't suggesting that." he laughed and wrapped an arm around him, starting to lead him away from his position. "It's a ball, why aren't you dancing? You must make the most of it!"

Hyrah almost tensed up when the other wrapped his arm around him, but then after a few seconds he really didn't mind... it was nice to be kind of close to someone. Even a feathered stranger.
"I would love to dance, but I don't have a partner." Hyrah simply said in response.
