Pinewish sat in the Windclan clearing. He waited eagerly for Snailblossom to come into camo. Little did he know she was never coming back to Windclan. The Tom stood up and walked over to the camp entrance and sat down out of the way. His body began to shake at the thought of losing her. Should be have followed her when she ran out of the camp? No it wasn't his place to. She could be lying dead or become a rogue for all he knew.

Patrols done and should be under way, if not then she'd have some cats to yell at later. Because seriously if any cat just decided to just not do their patrol after the whole crazy meeting that had just happened, they had to be crazy. Nothing else would explain it. Now she and to take Twilight to the Starcave. Not something she looked forward to. There was a thousands possibilities on what could happen. One was StarClan not accepting the rank change, which would be stupid! This was for WindClan. Maybe the 'bright future for WindClan' was hinting at her stepping down to give a brighter future. Who knew. She could dream.
Nearing the den to wait for, whatever was going on, to be over. Brightstar couldn't help but catch the familiar voice of that oh so annoying tom Foxpudge brought in. Why did Fox have to bring him here? Bright could honestly not think of a single reason for him to be here. At all.
Catching just how creeping this tom sounded Brightstar took it on herself to insert herself in this situation. No way in StarClan would she leave Twilightshine alone with a creep. "Pardon the intrusion." She meowed walking into the den. Oh. Foxpudge was here too. Though the layout of the den. Strange cat being a creep and Twilightshine hiding behind Foxpudge was not what Bright had expected to find. Well, half what she thought. "Patrols are sent out." She blurted out coming up with a reason to be there. Plus it was true.
A narrowed gaze flickered to Mountaingrowl. "Need him gone?" That was maybe the worst way she could have worded that question. Brightstar really wasn't sure the going ons of this den but was sure Twilight was wanting the strange one gone. For good she wished.

Foxpudge really did not want it to escalate to this..

It was frustrating, for this ThunderClan reject to have wasted everyone's time because he wants to strut around being sexist and forward toward Twilightshine. How.. repulsive. He didn't care that Twilightshine went behind him for shelter-- he'd prefer it, if it meant it'd get the gross cat to buzz off.

But unfortunately, it didn't seem to deter him as he approached them, tail swishing as Mountaingrowl regarded both of them through dark eyes.

"Well," Foxpudge puffed at him as he positioned himself to be more of wall between him and Twilightshine, a sudden tiredness overtaking him. This whole thing was exhausting, and he was regretting even going over to that stupid border to begin with. Would've saved him a headache. "You heard Twilightshine. Get out, you creepy ass piece of fox-dung."

Mountaingrowl wasn't so willing to leave, though.. not when he had a fiery prize so close to his paws. "I don't think you understand," his voice was a rumble as he neared them, flicking his eyes from the smoke tabby to the lilac she-cat. "I'm not goin' anywhere 'til I get what I want.. and oh, you're not going to reject me. You can't afford to, little girl."

And then he lunged, unsheathed claws hooking into Foxpudge's shoulders and pulling him to the ground. Foxpudge let out an angry, pained hiss, ripping free from Mountaingrowl's claws in order to slither beneath the larger tom and tear his claws across his underside.

Pinewish heard his name and padded over to Gingerrain. Even though he was worried about his daughter he would obey this one demand to go hunting. That will give her time to cook down, well if she decided to ever come back. He wasn't going to think of Snailblossom right now. Pinewish had a dedication to his clan now. "We just got to wait for the others." , he meowed.

Goldfeather jumped as his name was called. He'd hardly been paying attention for the entire meeting, only tuning in when Twilightshine announced that Brightstar would be stepping down, and for that reason he had to take a moment and figure out what it was she wanted him to do. Hunting patrol, he told himself forcefully. Remember that. Hunting patrol. He stood and hurried over to Pinewish and Gingerrain, trying to look friendly in order to counter the patrol leader's grumpy demeanor. "Hey," he murmured as he approached.

Coyotesnarl followed after his mentor after he charged out of the clearing clearly agitated, he’d seen the old tom mad but never quite like that! He could’ve gotten himself demoted or even exiled. He knew Twilightshine was some sort of weird cracked up cat but playing with her like that was just dangerous to begin with! He envied that of the tom, but he’d die before telling him that.

“Wow.”

He padded into the cool den and popped down onto one particularly old looking nest sweeping away tufts of fur that had been left behind. How indecent he grimaced but ignored it. Foxpudge was right, he should start doing something. He’d barely looked around the den or looked at the herb store or anything of that sort since he was assigned to Mistyfern. He’d get on that hopefully soon... maybe tonight. Twilightshine couldn’t be mad if he and his mentor snuck off to the moonpool unannounced, not that he wanted to tell her and seriously doubted the old tom would want to either. He cocked his head back examining the tom letting his train of thought derail for a moment “what now... I mean now she’s pissed at you” he mrrowed quietly hiding alittle chuckle in his voice. “sure as hell told her though” he offered as encouragement- though honestly he doubted it would make him anymore happy about what just happened.

Creekrunner
The long-legged tom had come back to camp just in time from his hunt to hear his name called for a patrol. He quickly made his way over to Deerblossom, one of the names he'd heard alongside his own for the border patrol. "Hi!" He greeted the other warrior with a smile, glancing around the crowd for their group leader. It looks like they just gotten finished with a big meeting. Dang, he thought, a slight frown coloring his features, I can't believed I missed it. It looked like it was an important one too.

The tom let out a gasp in fake hurt, eyes wide and mouth agape. A grin slipped through his act however as she turned, and he trotted up beside her, bumping his hip into hers. "You're so mean." He laughed, clearly no hard feelings from her words.
