Lupinegaze sat in the clearing, as per usualy, grooming her long dilute calico fur. Her lazy blue gaze of midnight and clear sky blues slunk around the clearing. She was bored out of her mind. It would be nice to have someone around to tease or talk to. She half wished Quicksilver would show up. Lupine had some telling signs that she might be pregnant and thought the tom would like to know that exciting news. She was most definetely excited, but probably for all the wrong reasons. Sure, she'd look after her brood, but she wasn't really that into the small whiny creatures. More into the benefits that came with them. She wondered what he would think of being a father. She supposed she would find out sometime later... For now she continued making sure her beautiful silky fur looked impeccable and kept an eye out for any other cats to pester.

Coldsong huffed as Cranepaw hesitated at the moor's border, shaking there like a leaf! What's so scary about training? This kit must have weasel-blood! "Move it, Cranepaw! We don't have all day!"

Turning his attention toward Fireflypaw, he gave a nod of satisfaction that his own apprentice was able to make it into the training area...then frowned when he shied away. Great StarClan, these kits were both wimps! "Hmph. At least you made it..." The white tom shot one more glare at Cranepaw, then rolled his eyes and continued. "Alright! First, you must learn the weak points of your enemies. That way you can put the moves you learn to good use. The throat, eyes, stomach, and spine are all sensitive points on a cat. Keep in mind that while you are aiming for these points on your opponent, you must defend these parts on your own body as well." He paused for a moment to give the apprentices a moment to process everything he taught so far. "Remember to use your own skills and common-sense on the battlefield, as well. WindClan is known for our speed, so tiring out your opponent will be your best bet. Approaching them from behind, using the sun to blind them, and keeping downwind are all good battle strategies, as well."

Finished explaining the basics, Coldong was hoping to hear either Firerose add something, or one of the apprentices speak up with questions. They'd better been listening, because he won't repeat himself!

He smiled. He swayed his tail as he looked around for something fun. "No need to say 'please'" He meowed. "I'm not a old, grumpy elder." He laughed.

"He's some crazy asshole who requested to speak with Brightstar at the border.." Had Foxpudge known that brief interaction would lead to this, there was no way he'd have brought him here!! He didn't have time to be angry about how.. mislead he was, not when Mountaingrowl was still a threat.

He joined Tawnystep at her side to prepare to strike at the tom, but-- it seemed Brightstar had other ideas.

As Brightstar lunged for Mountaingrowl, the giant tom took the hit as he moved to meet her, aiming to snatch her by the neck and rip it open. If it works, it'd be a simple method of removing this pest from this fight!

Bramblebear made her way into camp, looking for either the leader or deputy. her tail flicked as she searched for them, clearly in a rush. Finally, she decided to call out, "Bright cat! Twilight cat! Border okay. Thunder cats scent found. No fight. Border same place!" Without checking to see if either of them heard her, she turned back around to go out hunting.

Cowpaw bounced over to the clearing and plopped down waiting on the others. He called out for Quicksilver yet the tom didn't arrive. Is he okay? Where is he? Maybe if he just wait patiently, the warrior will appear? Fuzzy memories of him facing a tall pine tree, an unsettling breath warmed up his fur and a dizzy stench lured into his nose- he shuddered and thrash his head back and forth. Wake up, Cow! That is just part of your nightmare, an imagination ! Nothing to worry about. He nodded with a grunt. Hm! hm! Green eyes cleared up from the shadowing doubts and looked up, staring at the streaming body of cats. "Hm, where is Quicksilver..and Eveningpaw- she seemed nice!," remembering her calling out his mentor name, she was very kind and helpful. He can't wait to patrol with every cat!

Tawnystep was prepared to pounce when Brightstar launched past her. She sent an exasperated look toward Foxpudge before lunging after her, claws outstretched and ready to sink into the rat's flesh. Her nose wrinkled and her ears were flat as she soared toward him, only hoping that she landed her blow.

Cranepaw didn't think he could take this. He was speeding toward disaster, and he couldn't even care to notice Firerose's attempt at comfort or Fireflypaw's inquisitive glance, not when his heart was racing too fast to be slowed. His chest ached, and he wheezed as he doubled over. Small, mangled noises spilled from his maw and he knew Coldsong was saying something, probably something awful to him. Saying he was a failure, a coward! He could hear the echo in his mind, bouncing around and becoming louder, overbearing. Pieces of the words clung to him like shards of glass; he was terrified to move because if he did anything, he was certain they'd slice him into a million Cranepaw bits, so he held his breath and squeezed his eyes shut. Failure.
When the wooziness became too intense, his eyes flung open, wild and intense. He swore everyone was looking at him. They knew. They saw the coward in him, or worse yet they could see through him. Entirely unable to handle the pressure, Cranepaw's queasiness came to a peak as he couldn't do anything but vomit.
