Dawnstripe raised her ears as she heard her mother's voice call out. It was about time she's decided to show her face! The dark brown warrior walked over to the group of cats already gathered by the Highbranch. She took a seat to listen, hoping her mother was done playing the part of a sick weakling and returned to her rightful place as the powerful leader of ShadowClan. Beastspark hadn't done a terrible job taking over while Icestar was absent, however, he was nothing like Icestar.

Whiteshadow took his normal spot in the back to remain a silent observer of the meeting. It was nice to see that Icestar was getting better. She still looked a little out of sorts from the sickness but nothing some prey wouldn't make better. Silentpaw took a spot nearby the white warrior to listen to the meeting. Whiteshadow barely glanced in the apprentice's direction before returning his eyes to the front.

A tiny squeak of surprise sounded from the Tom, he almost would've jumped five foot in the air, luckily his large claws that dug into the soft dirt kept him in place. He glanced up at the Tom, his attention was completely taken from the uneasy feeling in his stomach to the stunning tom in front of him. Bumblebellys soft heart was melting at the sight of him. "I-I.. uh,.. Hello yes it's nice to meet you Bumblebelly--!" Another squeak of embarrassment, "Wait no I'm Bumblebelly, you're Grizzlyburr, right?" His laughter was an awkward one. The poor bear-like tom was about to have a breakdown from all these sudden emotions, the skin under his cheek fur heated.

Thistlepaw wrigglednin beside some of the other apprentices. Spotting Dawnstripe, she glared for a moment at the warrior. Her tail tip curled behind her angrily as she turned her eyes up the see Icestar. It had been some time since the leader had last held a meeting, and dispite being sick looked strong and recovering.

Tawnyflame quietly took a seat near the back, deliberately away from her sister. It had been some time since she had spoken to the molly and wasn't really looking forward to it after their dream.

As Duskkit came running towards Slatepaw-- and Jaykit, the tom would tumble out of her way. In fear of being run over from her excitement. No siree. He squinted his eyes at the two mollies, shuffling close to the Slatepaw. "I,, I'm just per..rky, " Jaykit replied, still gazing at Duskkit and Falconkit. His ear flicker, giving away that he was in fact listening. Kind of, to Falconkit. What did perky mean in terms of emotions? Who knew. Who really knew.
He lift his head to stare up at Slatepaw, raising an brow. "Pr..robably? I've never r,,really seen one, " Jaykit replied, letting out an grunt. The only time had was, well-- he had just been born. So, he didn't yknow have any memories of it. He heard stories at elast.
Then Falconkit got right into his business which only made Jaykit lower his head even more. He was very majestic! Maybe not graceful but he was like, the King of being Majestic. Totally. "You're not F...falconstar, you're fal..laconkit. Dumb,, dumb, " He replied, moving to sit somewhere else near Slatepaw--to escape Falconkit's watch. Mismatched eyes still on her in case she tried to do something.
Jaykit had to be careful these days! Never know when someone was a foe or an friend! Yessire!
Though, he had forgotten Duskkit was there and ended up bumping into her.
Which was followed by him getting surprised, confused and falling over.

Shadequill sat beneath Highbranch, wondering if Icestar was alright. After all, she had just recovered from being sick in her den, as useful as a newborn kit. He was glad she felt better, cause he knew Falconpaw wouldn't let her live it down, like the wriggling worm he is.

Tawnyflame made a small noise of discontempt when something poked her to wake her. She blinked in the darkness of the den, the sounds of the others sleeping softly all around them. She heard a familiar voice whispering to her, then saw the black cat slink away. He looked like a shadow in the still dark den. The fluffy tabby rolled and stretched, claws sinking into the edge of her nest before she pushed to her paws and quietly padded after him.

The clearing was still quiet, the world tinted pink from the sunrise. She wished that she was on coyote's peak right now, the view would have been gorgeous. Her golden eyes looked at the sky for a moment, watching the pink clouds roll overhead with a wondrous expression. Then they dropped from the sky and landed on the black tom, quickly grooming a patch of unruly chest fur back into place before padding up to him.

"Do you need something?" She asked quietly, wondering what he had woken her for. While she waited for his reply, she hastily returned to the work of grooming to calm the tangles from sleep.

Jaykit had dared disturb her imaginings of being a leader! How dare he! She glared at him. She then laughed when he fell over.
"Majestic indeed," She laughed. "And I am not a dumb dumb, fleabrain!" She walked over to him as he was getting up. "I'll be keeping a close watch on you, sir." She narrowed her eyes at him.

“Oh gee I’m sorry I didn’t mean to startle ya” He wasn’t exactly sure what to do, the tom sure was jumpy and he’d just made it worse. He looked stunned to see him, but he wasn’t that scary right? Grizzlyburr shrunk back pulling his tail around his paws anxiously. The toms eats gently pinned to the back of his head as the tom mustered up the courage to speak, smiling faintly at his mistake in introductions. “No worries. There was a time when I introduced myself as Grizzlypurr” he giggled fondly at the memory.

Relaxing slightly he offered his paw to gently rest against his forearm briefly “yup. That’s my name.” he reassured him pulling his paw back in a friendly way. “Grizzly for the fur and burr.. for well.. the fur. I used to get all kinds of things stuck in it when I was younger and I never cleaned it out. I had all kinds of things stuck onto my tail during my warrior ceremony. That was embarrassing ” he chuckled again his eyes glinting with amusement.

All their attempts had failed. Died in the dumps. Yet she managed to do it. Jaykit was beginning to see his friend in a new whole badass light!
Twolegs didn't seem that scary but, Jaykit would fidget. Shuffling with his paws. "But..." He stuck his bottom lip out, lowering his head sheepishly. "I w,,want to go on an ad,,dventur..re, " He mumbled under his breath. Now that was just unfair.

Nightkit told him, remembering the short scolding she had gotten. The molly kept looking at him, she was worried that he'd go missing if he were to go on an adventure out of camp.. just like her other friend- assuming that was what happened.
"b-but I think yo-your allowed t-to go on ad-adventures when you're an ap-app-apprentice, no?"
Nightkit averted her eyes as she spoke, unsure of her stattement, were they allowed to go on adventures as apprentices? she'd have to ask her mother for certainty-
Turning her eyes back to Jaykit, wanting to know what he thought to the matter.

She wasn't exactly sure how Beastspark was taking this. He seemed to have relaxed a bit more now that he knew the specifics, and she was happy for that. That helped her heartbeat slow in the slightest. Nodding at his suggestion, Irispaw considered her own theory. It made sense.
"Either way, all of those things are a nuisance. They'll be in trouble." She mewed, agreeing with the tom. Noticing the new tension in his features, she smiled to herself. Maybe her proposition would work.

At his words, she nodded, her heart feeling happier despite the situation. Thunderclan! She heard the word echo happily her her head, over and over. Though his cautions were necessary, and besides, this wasn't a roadtrip.
"Okay. I'll go, and come back. Thank you!" She burst out, grinning at the deputy, "Don't worry about me!" She cried, dashing towards the camp exit.
