“Twilight? Give me a scare?” he threw his head back with a snort. The she cat couldn’t scare him even if she tried, words were but empty threats that he wouldn’t take seriously. Especially not from her. “She couldn’t- what would she do? Banish me for mouthing off? If anything I’d scare her... all I gotta do is pop out of the bushes and flash her a nice toothy grin ” he mrrowed running his tongue over the pink fleshy scar on his jaw.

Coyotesnarl examined the tom as he seemed lost in thought, no doubt deciding who exactly they’d end up going to see for help. The options were slim.. and based on rumours he’d heard the Riverclan leader wasn’t so friendly and to top it off they couldn't go to tallmarsh. Twilightshine was interested in picking fights with the thunder cats in the near future... would be awful rude of them to make peace with Tallmarsh and go waltzing off to join discussions of battles. He flicked an ear at the thought though he wondered how much the medicine cat code would defend their actions. He jerked up from thought turning to face the blue tom “new material huh? I’ll sleep on it.. make a few pitches tomorrow and we’ll see what suits your fancy” he threw back tossing another poisonous smirk at him. Perhaps the limp? Maybe even the fact he’d lost his temper at Twilightshine. He’d think about it later now there was more.. important things to discuss. “Whaaat your telling me you don’t wanna go see the magic puddle?” he gave him a smile light hearted and kinder then his usual. “Maybe if we’re lucky it’ll be belly deep and we can go for a little swim too... outta make sure it lives out it’s usefulness” he mused quietly

She was oblivious to his anxiety, looking down at him with a blank expression. "How trained Crane cat?" the she-cat questioned, her tail flicking. Bramblebear ignored the calls of the cats around them, focusing solely on her new apprentice. Hopefully he's be better than that Mousepaw she had been assigned... she shook away the thought with a twitch of her whiskers, perking her ears and awaiting a response. She couldn't train him if she didn't know what he already knew!

The russet she-cat leaped back as Mountaingrowl fell to the cold floor, staring down at his bleeding form. She licked her lips, savoring the tangy taste of blood against her tongue. Her eyes were narrowed, pupils mere slits as she looked between both dead bodies on the floor. The den was rather filled, leaving damn-near no room for anything else. Tawnystep stepped back as far as she could, her chest heaving from the exertion. She huffed and flicked her tail, snorting to herself. "Good riddance," she grumbled, sitting down and staring at Mountaingrowl's lifeless form.

She swore on Starclan these cats were doing this just to test her patience. If only Warblerpaw and Leopardflare knew that their clear dissatisfaction with the mentor and apprentice pairing only made her want to put them together more. Twilightstar shifted her gaze from Wablerpaw to Leopardflare, she appeared bored out of her mind, but her glare fell like an act of violence. Warblerpaw was young and high-strung so she felt like he had something of an excuse and even then she knew how to reign him back in. Leopardflare was a warrior, one who should know how the hierarchy worked in a clan. She didn't like exerting her rank since it was exhausting, Leopardflare was pushing her buttons though. "What part of missing do you not understand?" She questioned, looking down at the warrior as if he was a dunce. "If you'd like to go look for Gentlerose with Warblerpaw than be my guest otherwise enough," Twilightstar sighed, "if you two would like to speak to me about this after the meeting and give me a validated reason on why I can't have you training together then maybe I'll rethink it." She was indulging far too much time with this. It was time to change to a different topic.
"In other news, that tom, Mountaingrowl, that was brought to my den decided to attack me so now he's dead." She explained as if talking about weather As much as she would have liked to spin the tale into something like he was sent by Flintstar to kill her, she kept it short and simple. No need to rile them up or cause any more enmity with Thunderclan. That clan would be dealt with in due time. "Several missing cats have also returned, though Gentlerose was not one of them." She made the clear for Leopardflare and Warblerpaw's ears personally. "Those of you who I've sent out on patrols, besides Bramblebear I don't recall hearing anything from anyone else." Normally patrols would be reported after or before a meeting but she felt asking about them during the meeting would stress how important it was that Windlclan gets into the habit of having them done again.

Batglare flattened an ear against his head as he finally recalled what it was he had forgotten to do. The forever moody warrior rose and pushed himself toward the front of the meeting. He forgoes the whole respectable greeting or whatever, even with the name change and lives it was difficult for Batlgare to view the slothful she-cat as a leader and certainly not his leader. "The Riverclan borders were remarked, however, on the way back to camp my patrol and I caught a whiff of a kittypet. Young, weak, and most certainly would have frozen to death, I decided to bring him back to the camp." He reported to both the she-cats. Batglare decided to overlook the pensive stare he obtained from Twilightstar. He couldn't tell if she was unhappy with it or not. He wouldn't have even been on the patrol if Leopardflare had done his job as when ordered, but of course, the tom was nowhere to be found when patrols were called now he was stuck dealing with this.

Twilightstar was getting this feeling that she was being far too soft with her clanmates. Maybe she was just getting lazy again? Still, she felt like she could cut a small break seeing as she was getting used to this transition as well. Having a bunch of cats bothering her all day every day now was really weird to her. Just as the thought bounced around in her head, another cat came up to her. See, this is what she means by weird. She turned her luminous green optics towards Pinewish as he walked up with an unknown cat. A queen? They could always use more of those. Twilightstar wasn't overly pleased that they got more mouths to feed but it just meant the clan would have to step up its games to properly provide for them. "You have a name and some a story?" Twilightstar disregards Pinewish for a moment while speaking to the queen in an emotionless tone. Every cat had some sort of back story, Twilightstar would like to know all she could about the she-cat even if it was one of those dull sob stories.

Not that they were on a patrol, but.. "We cleaned up your den. You won't have to worry about that gross sleazeball stinking it up anymore." Foxpudge gave Twilightstar a small shrug. It was better than nothing at least.

wait . ..that meany attacked twilightstar? That only shows that he didn't belong here. If he wasn't going to support the new leader and clan life ...then why even be here at all? Flattening her ears at that Lambkit gave a huff " traitor......wait...that is what you call a traitor right ?" she asked as she heard the word before. Ears perking up at Batglares words her eyes sparkled . A kittypet? Tail swishing with interest she leaned in.

"To be a traitor, I think he had to have been a Clan-mate.." It felt awkward trying to explain this when Foxpudge had been the one to bring him here, and he shuffled his paws with his ears flattened back. "He never officially joined the Clan. He was some rogue that wanted to.. do bad things, but he was stopped."

"that's even worse!" she somewhat shouted. Hopefully he gets the punishment he deserves then. Giving a nod to foxpudge she returned her attention to the leader.

For once, the she-cat was completely silent during the entire clan meeting. She was thrilled that WindClan would be dipping into this new era with Twilightstar taking her nine lives, however she could sense the tension between many of her clanmates since the beginning. It will take a while for their true loyalties to show, she thought to herself, removing her gaze from her colleges to her new leader on top of the Breezerock. Although she was a little disappointed that she didn't get an apprentice this time, she was nonetheless excited to see Goatpaw and Minkpaw receive their apprentice names.

The sudden objection caught her by surprise. It was an act of StarClan that she kept her mouth shut for as long as she did, but her words eventually slipped out with the announcement of Mountaingrowl's betrayal and the announcement of a new kittypet entering their camp. Her fur prickled as she turned her gaze to Batglare. "How can we be sure that this is just an ordinary kittypet so soon after Mountaingrowl's betrayal? What if this is another attack waiting to happen?" she challenged, generally intrigued that they would take in an unknown cat after Mountaingrowl's deception.
