Berrybreeze followed the wave of cats to the Highpeak, settling into a spot to listen to the meeting and watch the proceedings. I wonder if anything eventful will come of this meeting, he mused silently.

Lightkit ran over to the Highpeak struggling to see over the bigger cats, curious what Duskstar has to say.

Rainywhisker slides out of the warrior's den, a yawn splitting his jaws wide open for several long moments as he bumbles his way towards the Highpeak.

Today's the day!!!

Quailkit stood beneath the Highpeak, tail high in the air and fur puffed with excitement. She was practically squirming in place, unable to take a seat as she scanned the swarming the crowd. Who was going to be her lucky mentor? She wanted to know! She wanted to know!!

Ivykit bounded out of the nursery, despite the fact she technically wasn't supposed to be a part of clan meetings; her brother peeked his head out out as well.


Brightpaw padded from the entrance to camp, a finch in his jaws. Seeing there was a meeting, he quickly deposited it on the fresh-kill pile.


Ferretwatcher walked over from basking in the dim sunlight, ears pricked with curiosity.

Rootstone looks up from where she was laying, ears perking up as she hears the call for a clan meeting, she climbs up to her paws and ambles over to the gathering masses. Briefly she glances to the others before looking up at Duskstar. Hopefully she would be announcing that those Windclan scum were going back home where they belong. That would just make her day.

Buckbranch pushed his way through the entrance of the warrior's den and out into the clearing, ears twitching at Duskstar's call. He blinked, standing frozen momentarily and feeling as if he should remember something. Then realization struck him and he hurried his way into the crowd. "Hey, there," he murmured to Cormorantkit as he settled down next to him. "You excited or what?"

Softbriar's ear flicked, turning to look at Duskstar. They stood, stretching out their creaking bones and shaking out their fluffy fur before padding beneath the Highpeak.

Littlewish stood up, sashaying to the entrance. Glancing outside, he screwed up his nose at the fishy smell of Riverclan. Ick. We're those the cats he would be stuck with for the rest of the journey? He could survive with most cats, but that scent was putrid. Perhaps he should be more grateful.
"Hey, thank you mister! Sorry for holding up the elder's den for so long!" He yelled, maw cracking into a smile. He flicked his tail in farewell, eyes twinkling cheerfully. Thunderclan was nice, but he could not wait to run through the tallgrass and see the other half of his clan again. Things were strange at the moment, and all he wanted was some consistent things. Dipping his head to the deputy, he padded out of the den.

Runningpaw grumbled, padding after her mentor as she looked towards the deputy. He seemed nice enough. Dipping her head in silence to the tom, she offered a rare smile. Littlewish would most likely tease her about it, but she really was grateful that Thunderclan had been kind enough to let them stay here. She wasn't sure how else they would have survived. She walked out into the open air, happy to be out of the stuffy den. They were going back home.
