(Probably two chesnut’s ask cats can share prefixes. Older cat is in a different RP I think)
He ran around the rock and confirmed that she couldn’t have escaped so he stuck his paw into the hole feeling around trying to find her fur.

Acornkit could hear soft breathing from behind him.
He was curled up tightly in a small bundle, with his thin tail laying gently over his nose’s bridge. His warm kitten breathing stirred his fur as he groggily lifted up his head.
Blinking his green eyes, the tabby kit was stunned by the bright light filtering in through the nursery. As his eyes adjusted, Acornkit could make out the dark mass of fur that was his mother.
Wriggling closer, Acornkit pinned his ears back against his head, trying to snuggle deeper into Darkmoon’s chest fur where the sound would be blocked out and he could go back to a field of peaceful dreams.
Of course, an ear-splitting mewl of surprise crackled in the silence.
Acornkit whimpered quietly, wanting to be lulled back into rest but then another cat began to talk.
How in the world are they already talking?
It was early in the morning, the hint of something still tingling in his nose from the moss. He hadn’t even gotten speech down, yet Oakkit and Birchkit managed to wake up early and make a fuss.
Acornkit just wanted to go back to bed. Removing his small round face from the soft pillow of Darkmoon’s ruff, he stared up at her pleadingly before turning around to stare at his brothers.

she felt desperate, she bolted out of the hole, and around to another hiding spot, hoping to avoid the other kit finding her. "EEEEEEK!"

He batted it back when the moss ball reached him, and looked at the other tom. He kinda liked his energetic personality; it was quite the opposite of his own. Galekit twitched his tail and a question stumbled and tripped rather incoherently from his lips. "W-when'll-ll y-y-you be an a-apren-n-ntice?"
