Berrykit heard Ebonyfang´s voice. She tried to stop coughing, but it was too hard. She didnt want to get cats sick. She didn´t want her adoptive mother to find her sick, she might stop taking care of her.

Things had been dreadfully dull of late despite Shrikepaws best efforts.
While losing windclan was a blow the tom could take given that he was certain shadowclan would strike again soon enough and that the torment of the weaker clan would not end so easily the loss of the entertainment they provided had upset him greatly. The monochrome tom just wasnt aware of how much enjoyment torturing the rabbits had provided him until it was gone and now with the lack he was horribly horribly bored. Things would be more interesting when he was a warrior that he was certain of but that took time and he'd just have to wait until Dawnstar called the next meeting so for now he was just bored.
Shrikepaw missed antagonising someone weaker and while he'd usually go and jab and Failpaw (more playfully then he wanted to admit given he actually liked the molly) shed been absesnt so his attention turned to the clans newest failure. Wormkit. Slinking into the nursery with silent pawsteps a smug and cruel grin curled around his muzzle as he drawled with silky sharpness "Well what have we here? A worm? A kit? A failure? Or the almost impossible combination of the three? Its rare that someone angers Dawnstar to the degree you did, cats usually are smarter and have enough self preservation to avoid that, but youre the first Ive seen shes deemed so weak as to send back to kit. It'd be sad if it wasnt so funny but still, hows the new life treating you?"

Moonpaw turned around hoping that the cat who had entered the nursery would be friendly. oy was she wrong. Moonpaw rolled her eyes at Strikepaws wild attempt to rile her up. After blowing her top at that frog idiot it seemed like nothing fazed her anymore. "Hey, Strikepaw. still an apprentice I see. Yeah I may be a kit, but at least Dawnstar noticed me."

The tom settled into a comfortable rest while still managing to look down his nose as the molly raising an eyebrow amusedly. He was more then ready to move should it come to hostility but there was no reason he couldnt be comfortable while entertaining himself.
"Given that my assessment was recently and now Im fairly certain Im just waiting for the next meeting it is no hardship to wait. Im no so pathetic that I cannot wait for a few days. Though to be fair to you" he wasnt being fair "having to wait for 6 more moons to become apprentice might be a little bit more difficult given you are camp bound, unable to do anything and constantly reminded how badly you messed up rather then just having to wait to get a full name." He had to laugh at that.

"And please dont make me laugh you think I do what I do for attention? I despise attention and even the thicket kit knows theres a difference between good attention and bad. I'd rather go unnoticed than do what you've done, youre walking the line now one false move you may end up like Eagleclaw. You are a fool or have a death wish but knowing you perhaps its both."

Lilacfall stretched in her nest. It was much comfier than her old one. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to get to know some cats. Would any say hi ? She was a bit shy. Perhaps it could wait? Yes, she would wait until someone approached her.

Scrambling over to the moss, he scooped it up and rolled it fast over the nursery floor.

"That went far," Mumblekit murmured. She watched it fly, fly, fly again. This time, though, the other kit didn't run to get it. He just... sat there. Useless as a bump on a log. Like her. Until he wasn't, and moved again and retrieved the ball. Then he rolled it back, which seemed odd to her. Why didn't he just throw it? Maybe he didn't want it to hit her again. Maybe he was just tired. Maybe he didn't want it to attack him. But it was only supposed to attack her, right? Maybe?

Honeykit skirted around the other kits in the nursery. They didn’t notice. Honeykit was very good at getting around unnoticed. Probably came with being unable to speak. She sat down next to the quiet she-cat in the nest. Looking up at the older cat, Honeykit flicked her tail in what she hoped would be seen as a greeting.
