Everyone was talking about getting back at ShadowClan and the cat who did it. She just wanted to get past this and be given a chance to mourn her fully.

Heronflight nodded. Now she was intrigued of what he meant. "Now what reputation was that. I'm sure it wasn't all that bad.", she meowed. The molly didn't have a reputation when she was a kit. She was just known as the ugly child due to her face deformity. Her father had loved her. Well that was until he got back together with the cat who neglected her.

"I would.... like some help.
Flyfur knew once the adrenaline died, she'd be swamped worse by her grief and she'd barely be able to keep herself up, much less be able to help with anything of importance for a time.
At Blizzardsky's question, she thought back to before he attacked, to what little she saw of the cat.
"He was..... a large dark brown tabby. Muscular, scarred. Spoke weird, walked uneasily, but was right as rain when he attacked us."
She shivered remembering his awkward drawl and the piercing stare he'd leveled at the both of them.
"We can't do anything without bringing ShadowClan upon us. Let's.... leave what to do us to Sootstar.

Gingerfrost didn't express much of it, but perhaps his features gave him away still. Usually the cold didn't bother him much thanks to his thick fur, but he had to admit this was a particularly cold day. Just his luck. The young tom flinched slightly when Lotusheart suddenly moved closer, his face lazy and grumpy as ever. He stayed in place though, somewhere perhaps appreciating the gesture to keep his ears from falling off. Gingerfrost was just... Not used to having anyone even remotely close with the exception of Flyfur and in battle.

Lotusheart hoped she hadn't made him too uncomfortable. After a few moments, she looked up at the sky. Apparently, It was time for her training session with Badgerpaw. She turned to her friend.
"Well, looks like It's time for me to go. I'm glad we got a chance to talk again. Bye!" she mewed as she got up and turned to the dens.

What she eventually concluded was... Fish won't eat her. Drinking liquid still will. But fish no. She eats fish? Despite living in RiverClan, she'd rarely to not at all eaten fish. Or just not realised it. Primrosepaw came forward again carefully, sniffing the air and the fish, rather suspicious. If it wouldn't eat her then maybe... Carefully, she tried to take a small bike out of either one of them- she wasn't sure which lay where- though the first attempt was noting but air. Second attempt was... Fish. A tiny, tiny bite. But fish. It tasted surprisingly well, which surprised her.

Eelpaw was just plain out confused as they stood there and watched Primrosepaw attempt to pronounce their name or was it her name for the pike? Why.. did everything have to be so confusing, they did not get it and found it totally unnecessary to confuse everyone and everything over it. Like... what was the purpose? It was not a useful purpose. "Not Weel, it is EEL. E," this time they were going to try to pronounce every single letter slowly and precisely, "E," and the last one, "L. I'm E E Lpaw, like how you are P R I M R O S E paw." At least they hoped it would make sense... somewhat.

But then Primrosepaw begun eating and Eelpaw was once again left confused over her hesitancy. Did she not eat fish? Then what else did she eat? "Do you like eating fish or do you like... eating other prey?"

Blizzardsky nodded,” If you see him at the gathering, tell me...I’ll help you bury her of course...” he meowed. He felt a weird sense of shock he couldn’t quite process it, he knew he’d never see her or hear her again, but somehow he expected to wake up tomorrow and find her helping around in the nursery. This had to be a bad dream, but at the same time he knew this was real. He should have been on that patrol, if he was there, he could have saved Sugarapple from that Shadowclanner.

Frankly, Blizzardsky figured he could sugar coat it far better than when she heard it from someone else so he told her,” Well, as a kit I was quite obnoxious, always trying to sneak out of camp, playing to rough and accidentally hurting other kits, and yeah, it got bad enough that Lionstorm threatened to exile me at one point, and held be back as a kit until I was seven moons old.” he meowed,” I’m not like that anymore, but no one seems to see that I’ve changed.” he sadly added

Were they still not happy? Primrosepaw started getting the impression that Eelpaw didn't like sharing his name with the Ike. But... Eel was so much prettier than Ike, and the Ike felt pretty so they deserved a pretty name too! Or- names? Primrosepaw squinted her eyes and tilted her head to the side completely in confusion as Eelpaw started saying... Things. E? L? I? S? "..E...S...L...M...?" She didn't quite know what those things were, or what they meant but they sounded amusing and after an attempt at saying some of the letters she found herself giggling at their strangeness. "..hm-..E..el!" She eventually giggled, smiling brightly. She said.. Eel now! The exact way Eel said eel, the tiny apprentice felt.

But then, after her hesitant tiny bites, the Eel spoke again. It was... A que..ques..Question! A ques-tion they asked, as by the way it was said. Right? Yes. But what did it mean? The Eel had many strange words. Primrosepaw knew 'eat' and started to understand 'fish' but she didn't know what 'prey' was. or did she? The little one thought and thought, trying to connect 'prey' to something, something... All she could find, was what they ate. Was that 'Prey'? It.. Made sense, to her at least. After the long moment of silence, Primrosepaw still just shrugged upon having taken another small bite from the fish; it's taste wasn't that bad. But then she proceeded to remain facing them- the Eel- the best she could at least- head tilted with a questioning look. She wanted to know their answer to their own question because... If they asked, then they knew, right?
