stumbling back into the territory, rainypaw looked around hesitantly, eyes narrowed slightly. this was it, right? the same old (slightly blurry) territory of the unhinged clan. but..why did it smell so..odd? like another clan. oh stars, did another clan raid thunderclan like riverclan did? (oh, at least they remembered it was riverclan that had attacked thunderclan.)

the large tabby huffed as they tried to remember what had happened before they left. chaos. that was clear. did anyone say anything about another clan coming?? they didn’t think so. they weren’t even sure of all that happened when they were in the clan. they groaned, feeling a headache starting to form. okay…my memory is..not that good.

Archkit limps into the nursery, carrying a small bundle of moss that they drop next to their small nest. Having already giving some to theirs sister, the disabled it now remakes their nest. Hearing something behind them, they turn around and back away. There is another cat there, a cat that they do not know.

The she-kit's golden eyes bore into Archkit her head was tilted to the side as she spoke, "Hi, What are you doing?" the she-kit questioned the other kit obvious confusion written on her face, "Oh, and I'm Heartkit!" she added introducing herself.

Pebblekit blinked and sat up. She was trying to sleep, but with all the racket the other kits were making, it was impossible. She hmphed and hissed, "Quiet down, will you?" She looked like a ball of tortoiseshell fur as she curled into a ball.

He staggered back as Houndpaw practically through herself at him, but didn't waste a second in wrapping a shaking forepaw around her shoulders and holding her close. A shuddering breath left him as he squeezed his eyes shut tight, hanging onto his little sister with an almost vice-like grip. It was all he could do to keep himself from bowling her over out of excitement.

Her question made him falter and he pulled back briefly to blink at her, eyes brimming with tears as he tried his best at a dismissive, goofy grin. "Don't worry about it," he said hoarsely. "Cause then I'd have to leap in and save you and we'd both get ourselves killed. Can't have that, can we?" Perhaps a lame attempt at a joke, perhaps a simple statement of truth—it was difficult to tell.

Bumblepaw winced and flinched back as she reached up to brush a paw over the cobwebs. Though her touch was light, it still stung, and he bit back a huff of pain to once again wrap himself around her and bury his nose into her fur. "Don't worry about it," he repeated. "I'm just so glad you're all right. I'm so glad I finally have you back. Where... what happened? Why did you leave? I thought..."

He couldn't bear to finish the sentence.

Cloudykit wanted to know more about this Clan. Dragging herself into the elder's den (gah, she hated broken legs!) she spotted Lostflower. ''Lostflower!'' She padded faster to reach the blind cat, leg dragged uselessly behind her. ''Could you tell me a story?''

Lost’Flower soon noticed Cloudy’kits scent as he approached, her hearing was starting to leave her so it took a lot to hear what he was saying to her but was able to decider her name and the word story.
“you want to hear a story?” she made an effort to turn her scarred face in the direction of Cloudy’kit, even though she couldn’t see him she knew it was polite to look at someone when talking to them.
“Okay, what kind of story would you like to hear?” she asked, turning her ear towards the small kit as to hear him better, even if it only improved her hearing slightly.

Yes! She was in! Nestling down next to Lostflower, Cloudykit blinked at the elder while twitching her whiskers thoughtfully. ''Can you tell me what things were like... when... when this Clan was happy?'' She requested, blinking her silvery blue eyes hopefully. Maybe if she learned about how this Clan was when it was normal it would encourage her to continue on.

Lost’Flower thought for a moment, allowing Cloudy’kit to settle next to her.
a story from when the clan was happy? Her tail flicked in thought. Maybe a story about her first hunting lesson? That was a happy time right?
“Hmm, that’s quite the grey area little one. How about I tell you about the first time I went hunting, I’d say the clan was quite happy around then ” she suggested.
