"I don't mind." he answered without a single thought. It was what he wanted in the first place, he'd be ashamed to say no just because it could get dark out. He was used to the water, anyway. Even at night. Nothing could surprise him, at least not from the water, though some things about this human could easily surprise him, if he wasn't careful.

Thanos perked up slightly, smile widening. "Are you sure?" He asked, ready to get up as soon as the other said yes. Yes, it would take a while, but if they were both fine with the wait, there was nothing holding him back

"Yeah. I'm sure. Quicker you get 'em, quicker you can join, right?" he reached up and patted Thanos' shoulder, shifting in slight impatience. He was eager for quite a few things that this experience would offer, though he was mostly enjoying his company for now.

Waiting right by the bank, he yawned softly, closing his eyes and resting his head on the edge. He eagerly awaited Thanos' return, no doubt, though was pretty tired.

After a while, Thanos returned in proper attire, draped in a favourite jacket for the after-swim chills. Slowly walking down the now darker trail he couldn't help but smile. This was an alien feeling to him, but he enjoyed every feeling he felt. Slowly, he approached the man, still in the water. He sat down once more, murmuring a soft "Ian?" As he did so.
