Make sure to congratulate Versailles on their promotion from c-mod in training to fully fledged chat moderator! They've worked very hard, and we can't wait to see where they go from here!
Her expression turned apologetic. "Yeah, I know. Sorry again. If I find him before you do, I'll call you over instead."
She then glanced down at Wolfkit and wrinkled her nose, before hooking the feather with one claw and tugging it away. "Don't put that in your mouth," she chastised. "Good luck omen or not, you've no idea where it's been. Come on, you said you wanted to help me with my nest, right?"
Bumblebreak nudged him in the direction of the warriors' den as she picked up the rest of her materials and gave Hawkshade another grateful look. "See you around. Thanks again."
Wolfkit squeaked in protest when Bumblebreak plucked his feather away. Initially, he began to follow it, but Bumblebreak's nudging distracted him. "Help!" He chirped at her again, tail swishing in excitement as he bounded toward the warriors' den.
Wolfkit's small form trembled with excitement as he finally managed to catch Sharpeye's tail in his tiny paws. His bright eyes gleamed with mischievous delight as he held on tightly, feeling the soft fur beneath his pads. He just couldn't resist the temptation to give the tail a little nibble.
With a mischievous grin, Wolfkit opened his tiny jaws, revealing sharp milk teeth, and gingerly reached to pressed them against the fur-covered appendage. He could feel the tail twitching beneath his grip, but he was determined to savor this victorious moment. With a little growl in his throat, he planned to give the tail a gentle tug and relish in the sensation.
(Sorry for the short post I just got out of middle school for my life)
*Sharpeye gave Wolfkit a smile and let the kit nibble his tail, not feeling any pain*
Wolfkit didn't know who this Wolfie was, and his face scrunched in confusion when Lightningkit asked about a bush. "Get!" He squeaked at her in return, bobbing his head in the direction of Frogkit. "Sides." Flanking him seemed like the best option. Frogkit wasn't quite at the top of the nursery, but he was trying. He'd never see them coming. "Go!!!"
Keeping low to the ground, Wolfkit waved his tail to encourage them to follow. He stalked Frogkit, pausing only briefly as he bunched his legs in preparation for a pounce. When he was ready, he leaped at Frogkit.
When Frogkit Stumbled in, he looked around confused. This new camp looked surely Awful. It didn't look anything like the old camp he knew and loved.
He hated the idea of having to make a new nest All alone again. He didn't have any Parents, so he mostly did everything alone. Not that he was a weak little kit who needed Momi and Papi to come to save them. He was just fine doing everything by himself.
He wanted to do something fun. Something that would get his hopes up. Then, he realized something. What if he climbed to the top of the nursery? That seemed like a fun idea. "Hey everyone!" He yowled out to the small number of cats that filled the clearing. "Look at this!" He yelped, then began to scrape the edge of the nursery cave. Scraping to climb up and get on the top. He fell down a few times, but after a while, he managed to start to slide up. He wasn't anywhere near the top, and he knew it would take him work. But he would try.
She ran her tongue over her lips as renewed suspicion made her fur prickle again. The lack of blood and injury was one thing, but to deny vital information was entirely another. She also really didn't like the look Petalflight threw Gentledoe's way. The hell did that even mean??
"I don't think I do, actually," She didn't bother to hid the growing skepticism in her tone. "But I'm sure you understand how your refusal to cooperate with me on this makes you look. Goin' out to meet a WindClanner, who then kills Blackfir, who you then refuse to name after being caught red-pawed with his body? It's not good.
"I'm givin' you one last opportunity here. Give me the name so I can handle 'em, or feel free to walk yourself out of my territory and never come back."
[ bumblestar is offering petalflight one more chance to reveal the name! refusal to do so on her part will result in bumblestar exiling her from tc. ]
**Petalflight**
The breath Petalflight sucked in felt as though it could be her last, if not the last in her life it would surely be the last in this life, but it settled the resolve in her. Despite the unfortunate start to Bumblestar's leadership, this particular aspect of it putting Petalflight at the heart of the new leader's admittedly deserved harshness, Petalflight found that she was liking the new leader. Thrushstar had never made much of an impression on her, despite Blackfir's unceasing praise, but Bumblestar was beginning to make her see why some leaders are given the inherent respect. She wished things had been different because maybe she would've learned to find loyalty in Bumblestar's active and tough leadership of this clan so beloved by Blackfir.
As the leader's anger seemed to mount, Petalflight looked to the ground and dipped her head slightly, attempting to defuse the heated encounter. She wished no conflict with Bumbelstar or the clans and, frankly, she was exhausted, mentally, emotionally, physically. But she knew the position she found herself in. She had been the cause of the death of one of Thunderclan's loyal warriors, a place she could never have replaced even if she'd had a desire to. When Bumblestar offered her one more chance, another chance to out the Windclanner and, what? Escape personal punishment? At least escape exile or death, she figured. Petalflight found herself silently thanking the leader but knew she did not deserve the second chance, nor would she take it. The second option also felt like a mercy, to walk out of Thunderclan territory, to go back to her life before...to pretend like none of this ever happened. Delphic was surely still out there somewhere, she wasn't a cat that was easy to kill, even able to be killed as far as Petalflight knew, and she'd hold a deadly vengeance against her. And these moons in Thunderclan would haunt her, nothing would ever be the same again. She'd be striking out on her own, with nowhere to go, no protection, not even Blackfir to visit, nor could she see herself returning to Pignut, not after all of this. But she was still being given a chance. When she looked back up, her green eyes a flat mask, she simply shook her head. "Would you like me to travel with an escort until the edge of the territory?"

Bumblestar's tail lashed once. How disappointing. Petalflight had seemed a promising young warrior—unfortunate some nameless WindClan warrior managed more to her than the Clan that had taken her in.
"You're no longer welcome in ThunderClan. If I or any of my warriors catch you beyond our borders again, we'll treat you as any other intruding outsider."
She craned her neck to catch sight of a calico pelt across the clearing. "Pumpkinpatch [ @Kay~ ]!" she called sharply to the she-cat. "I need you to take Petalflight to our border with the Outskirts. Make sure she keeps out of ThunderClan."
[ Petalflight has been exiled from ThunderClan ]

Pumpkinpatch was disappointed in Petalflight. There wasn't much for her to say, so she didn't speak about it.
"Will, do Bumblestar!" Pumpkinpatch called out to the leader and stood up, approaching the exiled cat. The mainly black molly tapped her tail on the young ex-warrior's shoulder.
"Let's go Petalflight," the orange-eyed warrior told Petalflight. Pumpkinpatch scanned the green-eyed molly as she waited for Petalflight to get ready to go.
[After you reply to this, I'll mention you on the way to the border/outskirts]
The Siamese hurried out of the apprentices' den at the mention of a body, her eyes widening when she realized just who it was. Bounding over, her eyes widened in horror and she froze, stomach churning violently. It was Darkpetal. It was her father. They hadn't spoken much. They weren't particularly close. But he was still her dad.
Stumbling back, Hazelpaw desperately swallowed against the bile rising in her throat. And then she heard someone who didn't even know Darkpetal's name. Whipping around with a snarl on her face, she glared at Cracklepaw.
"You... you didn't even know his name! What the hell are you SO EXCITED FOR?" Her voice rose in a yowl at the end as she flung herself at the other apprentice, claws unsheathed and tears stinging her eyes as she aimed to bowl Cracklepaw over.
Dovefluff only looked at Bumblestar out of fear that she'd see suspicion in the eyes of someone else, and nodded slowly. "I will." She murmured softly. The blood clung to her fur, but it shouldn't take long to make herself look presentable, as messy as it was. She stepped back, giving Gentledoe a tight, grateful smile before trying to run her tongue and paw over the crimson staining her soft gray fur, stumbling back. Not wanting to hold anyone up, she worked fast, only looking up when she hear yelling.
Oh. Darkpetal's daughter, she was pretty sure. Intuition kicked in, and as Hazelpaw lunged, so did Dovefluff, quickly sliding herself in between the two apprentices, ignoring the sting of any claws that hit her, stepping back a few times to steady herself as the momentum that would've been used to attack Cracklepaw (which, she didn't want to sound cruel, but he deserved it a tad. not being hurt, but perhaps a bit of being put in his place) was bowling into her. Barely flinching, she looked down at the grieving molly with the tears of grief sparkling in her eyes, and Dove was very glad she had had time to wash the poor cat's blood off of her. It would've probably been horrifying.
"Hey... hey... I'm sorry, honey. I'm so sorry." She whispered. And she wanted to wrap the poor child in her embrace and just shove away the coldness of the world, but she didn't want to overstep or make the molly uncomfortable, so the former ShadowClan queen just glanced back at Cracklepaw, praying that he would keep his mouth shut. "It's not worth it. Trust me, it's not. Don't put yourself at risk for injury or consequences. Do you want to come with me to see him? I... you can stay if you'd like, no one's going to make you, but if you do, you're welcome to stick with me, okay sweetheart?"
While she didn't want to expose the younger cat to the mangled corpse of her father, she also didn't want to rob her of closure or the final goodbye. It was a tricky situation. If Hazelpaw would allow her, Dove would ease her into a more stable position, and would guide her gently away from Cracklepaw. For the love of StarClan, Cracklepaw, don't say anything."I'll be taking whoever wants to come pay their respects to Willow's Rise, now." She announced softly, rising to her paws, and if Hazelpaw was following, she would keep close to the apprentice, offering silent comfort through this horrific time.
[ @dino. @lio @Lillian @Leafí ]
[ @ares @dragonwind @Radetzky - Dove will be taking anyone interested in paying their respects to Willow's Rise now, feel free to have your oc tag along even if you aren't on the mentions list ]

Not really a surprise though. He didn't bother to give his attention any further to the argument and simply listed her words as a quiet agreement. Dead panning his bored gaze over to the entrance in camp, Crackle'paw was about to head out when a splitting screech reached his ears. To his surprise Hazel'paw was lunging right at him.
Eyes flashing in utter surprise, his muscles tensed as he readied himself for the attack. But it never came. Gaze showing even more confusion, he found that Dove'fluff had saved him from the blow. He should've just been grateful that the queen saved his pelt from a good scratching, but that emotion rendered useless in his fool hardy mind. Peeling his lips back into a snarl, the apprentice attempted to shove past Dove'fluff. " Oh! It's worth it all right! This idiot wants to fight me, so let her!" snarling out the words he carried on, hoping to lite this fire even more. "C'mon Hazel'paw! Come and show me your not a nobody, unlike you father!" cackling darkly, he felt eager claws sink into the ground. " Maybe you can even put up a better fight than what he did!" With that last comment tossed out to the wind, Crackle'paw waited for a reaction; gleeful eyes narrowing down to small slits that held nothing but sick amusement.
It happened far too quickly for her to react in time. Hazelpaw, rightfully upset, rocketed forward out of nowhere before Dovefluff stepped in to take the brunt of the attack. Bumblestar took a step back, startled by the display. At first it seemed like it was handled. But then Cracklepaw opened his great big mouth again.
Bumblestar stepped around the other two quickly to intercept the apprentice before an actual fight could break out. "That's enough outta you," she snapped. "You're remaining behind." No, she didn't agree with Hazelpaw's decision to attack a Clanmate, but clearly the apprentice was distressed, and with the added mockery from Cracklepaw, Bumblestar really couldn't blame her. "I don't want to hear another word from you taunting either Hazelpaw or her father. Go to the apprentices' den. Now."
Goldenpaw | he/him
"what did you just say?" the words left his mouth as soon as he arrived on scene, watching the quickly growing conflict rise between Hazelpaw and Cracklepaw, "What the hell did you just say?" White hot rage burned in the apprentices eyes as he padded towards the larger apprentice. Bumblestar had already reprimanded him, but just telling him to stop wasnt going to work. When had it ever worked? He was the type of cat who only acted worse and worse if it meant it got them some attention, and attention was exactly what he was getting. Stars, it made him sick. Now, Goldenpaw wasnt a super kind or selfless kinda guy. Far from it, actually. But he at least had a basic sense of respect for those around him, especially those he considered to be in his inner circle of friends. Especially Hazelpaw, someone who was the closest thing to an actual sister he ever had.
"You- youre absolutely pathetic. I bet you wouldnt be so excited if it was your own dad that died, would you? Or would you still be grinning in stupid sadistic joy? Actually, you know what? I think it wouldnt be much of a stretch to think that you were the one that killed him. After all, you are the one who said to throw a kit into the sinkhole, so I wouldnt put it past you. Stars, you make me sick. Bumblestar might be fine with just letting you off with a warning, but I sure as hell am not. Watch your back, Cracklepaw." he snarled, voice shaking in pure, undisguised rage as he glared up at the white tom. It took everything in him not to slash his claws right across Cracklepaws stupid smug face, but for whatever reason he was just able to hold himself back. Something that probably would save him from getting into a ton of trouble with Bumblebreak, sure, but getting in trouble was far from the thing he was most concerned with.
With a final look of contempt thrown at Cracklepaw, he stomped over to Hazelpaws side and went to guide her out of camp behind Dovefluff. "Im going to kick his ass later" he hissed to her under his breath, tail lashing behind him.
Woooo being in a clan was a little odd sometimes but Mudhound was starting to find themselves adapting to the new lifestyle relatively quick for the most part. It was more routine like then life as an outsider to be honest, things like patrols were laid out and ordered and you had something to do every day. In their time as Buzzy the maine coon mix was more used to 'do whatever and then deal with the inevitable chaos that popped up at some point' then that. But still it wasnt to bad a life to live.
More energy consuming though.
So with energy consumed on the patrol that Mudhound had gone on that morning the warrior was padding back in for a nice meal of something meaty to eat to refuel before doing another activity. Luckily enough there was even one big beautiful specimen left for the taking! A big fat and healthy looking pigeon! A quick glance around revealed all the queens kits and elders eating happily (though the tripods tunnel visioned brain somehow blurred out the hungry warrior heading over to the prey pile) so it was the hound's for the taking! Perfect!
Quick as you please the ditz trotted over and, somehow completely oblivious to the warrior reaching for the bird, grabbed the pigeon right in front of his face clipping him with a broad shoulder as they did.
A right insult to be sure but the happy hum as the idiot turned to bounce off to a sunbeam to eat and the vacant look in their eye showed it wasnt intentionally so. Mudhound just had less brain then the aforementioned pigeon and was inevitably going to pay for it. Now apparently.

[After you reply to this, I'll mention you on the way to the border/outskirts]
The green-eyed she cat blinked, unflinching in the face of Bumblestar's resolute and final words. Exiled. There was a note of regret for how everything had gone down but she knew she wouldn't miss the clan, but she couldn't help but wonder if this would truly be her last mistake to bar her from maintaining her goal. There was a sense of security in the clan, even if the shared den made her pelt crawl and the customs were perplexing at best. But there was nothing tying her here, not anymore. So with a last look at the Thunderclan leader, Petalflight turned into the small tap on her shoulder, facing this warrior Pumpkinpatch. Her green eyes held the she-cat for a moment before following her out of the new camp.
