Wolftail padded into camp with a vole and sparrow dangling from his jaws. He set the catches down on the fresh-kill pile and began looking for Twilightstar or Brindlejaw, hoping he could check in with one, if not both of them.

"Brindlejaw?" Roanfeather called into the clearing, returning with the border patrol now that they had the border successfully marked. She spotted the deputy and trotted over, expression softening into a smile as she dipped her head. Then.. it faded, as she recalled she had some less-than-stellar news to report. "Whitesong and I have returned from the ThunderClan border. Stormjump didn't show, Flamerose... has been missing for a while now." It was concerning, these cats going missing, and she was beginning to suspect either someone or something was picking off WindClan cats. "As for recent developments: ThunderClan has been hunting beyond the border, and of course, the border is still in its 'new position'." Since Twilightstar hadn't authorized moving it back, ThunderClan still had its newer markers pushing WindClan's back.

Once Goatpaw seemed to have gotten it down, Foxpudge beckoned the apprentice to join him. "You catch on pretty quickly!" He told him with a smile. "I would suggest practicing on your own time so you don't get rusty-- was Lynxsight your mentor? I might talk to Twilightstar about getting you at least a temporary one, since I don't recall seeing her around recently.."

She couldn't even show up for this patrol.

The young apprentice turned curiously as Foxpudge beckoned him, and with perked ears he trotted over to the warrior. A happy purr rumbled in his chest at the praise thrown his way. If Foxpudge said that then it meant he was on the way to becoming a really great warrior! "I will!" He exclaimed, then blinked at the mention of his mentor. "Yeah, I don't really know where she is. Maybe out hunting by herself or something?" He tilted his head a bit as he thought. A temporary mentor? Did that mean he was going to be taught by someone else? Well, he was being taught by both Foxpudge and Breezefeather right now, so it probably wouldn't be any different.

Plus with more mentors he could learn even more moves! That sounded like a great deal to him. "Okay!" He smiled widely, his little tuft of a tail wiggling excitedly as he pictured all the cool things he would learn with two whole mentors.

The grey tom spotted his brother a little while away. A smile grew on his face as he dived for a bush. He stalked forward as if he were hunting a rabbit. Close enough as he saw it he leaped onto his prey giggling. "Guess what" He looked down on his brother beneath his paws.

cherrykit smiled sheepishly, "h-hi, I'm cherrykit...lionstar kicked me out and...well...he ordered that I stay In windclan..." she looked down at the ground, she was to scared to look up and see the leader. @Moonraven @vermin

"Come on, let's head back to camp." Foxpudge didn't want to ruin his perception of Lynxsight so he didn't continue the discussion on her more, opting to leave the training more to return home.

"Brindlejaw!" Foxpudge called as he entered camp, tail twitching. "We're back from battle training. Lynxsight didn't show up, but Goatpaw and Breezefeather did fine. ..You might want to talk to Twilightstar about giving him at least a temporary mentor, it seems like Lynxsight might be bordering on missing."

"Alright!" He smiled, hopping to his paws and bounding after the older warrior. He doubted he could ever get tired of training. Learning something new, especially battle moves, always seemed so fun! He couldn't wait to see if he got another mentor too, and who it might be. It was one of the many things flying through his mind as Goatpaw accompanied the others back to camp.
