Bramblekit sat alone in the corner, hiding from themselves. They don't feel right the way they are, as a tom. But everyone would think they were weird if they said anything, so they guessed they'd have to live that way, as a him, not a her, like they felt. Sighing, Brambekit stepped out. He couldn't hide from himself forever, or everyone would think he was weird. He just had to accept this and push the feelings of wrongness down, and grow up to be a strong tom like his father (OPEN)

Fawnpaw had been in the clearing washing his paw after his hunting patrol, seeing Bramblekit who had been a familiar face in the nursery he bounded up. "Hi Bramble, how are you?", he said to his friend. She looked sad today so he hoped he could help her.
(Using She/Her pronouns unless ooc til Fawn finds out, btw he'd be super supportive and him out)

Bramblekit nodded. "Miss u two fwend." He mewed. He barely got to play with Fawnpaw before he was made an apprentice, but in that time the 2 became good friends.

"Well, when you become an apprentice it'll be just like before!", Fawn said enthusiastically. "I bet you'll get a great mentor, I've only done a little training but I caught my first squirrel yesterday!"
