She was tired, she was exhausted and she was pretty much done. Eelpaw had gotten a big beating from her fight with Sootstar... well it was battle practice but it was still making her body sore and her head was ringing. If she'd not had brain damage before (which Snakepaw seemed to think) she was sure to have it now. At least... at least she could say she'd learned a lot, and a large part of that was to never get your head smushed into the ground or you were more than likely to have a really painful head for quite some time.
Sighing, she rested her head on her paws as she just... existed for the time being.

"okay. I take the moss-ball and put it away for safe keeping," she mewed. she took the ball from the kit and placed it behind the nursery. then she turned back to the kit. a thought struck her, and she unconsciously whispered it loud enough for littlekit to hear.
"what if I became your mentor?" she didn't realize that she was speaking to the kit instead of about him, and she just drifted off, immersed in her own thoughts.
