Sundust wasn't here at the moment, but Rosepaw was still inside. She had realized she had a quiet second to herself and had done all her chores so she decided to actually groom herself for once. However, it seemed the job of a medicine cat was never done. The small cat, who was technically an apprentice but was nearing 15 moons of age, rose to her paws and turned to face the visitor.

"Cherrysnow? Um, what can I help you with?" she asked the mostly unfamiliar warrior.

Mothflight gasped in pain as Sundust snapped her paw back into place. "Ow! Uhh... ok." She stood up on wobbly legs. She felt like she might throw up suddenly for a moment but didn't. "Thank you, Sundust. I am grateful the Clan has you." She walked out of the medicine den, swaying on her paws as her belly churned. She felt sick. It showed in her eyes.

Sundust was about to turn away and continue his tidying up, when out of the corner of his functioning eye he saw Mothflight stumble. He turned, observing her for a moment as he tried to decide if he needed to address it or not, but ultimately decided he should. It was his job to inquire his clanmates over menial things. "Mothflight, are you feeling well?" If she was sick, Sundust would need to know immediately. The last thing he needed was some sort of disease circulating around camp.

"Oh," the small exclamation of surprise escaped the young warrior's mouth as Rosepaw popped into view, "Hello, Rosepaw." Cherrysnow flicked her tail to the side, flexing her paws as she though over how she wanted to word her response. "Do you have anything for nausea? I haven't been feeling great the past few days, and today specifically I've felt really bad. I don't think it's rotten prey or anything." Of course, as she began explaining her ailment, the nausea seemed to magically vanish - or at least get a bit better. Of course, even if she didn't feel sick, she was fairly certain that if she walked away now and not deal with it, she would just feel worse in the future.

Mothflight moaned in pain. "I don't know!" She snapped, shoving Sundust off her, and almost fell down. "Arg... I'm gonna throw up..." She gasped for breath.

But for now she wanted, no, needed to come back. She could keep a look out while living amongst the cats she had known for most of her life. “But I realized I couldn’t keep searching for her, and that I would have to learn to get comfortable around others. I wasn’t immediately ready to come back to Thunderclan, but I miss my home, and I’m willing to stand by these cat’s…with some proper training, of course.” Having added that last part on as a second thought, Brightpaw hoped it had been enough to convince the warrior of allowing her and Newtheart to return.

Newtheart's ear flicked in acknowledgment as Brightpaw responded first. He stayed silent for a moment, considering his own response. "We didn't leave because things were hard, Shiningskies." Shiningskies stared coolly at the two as she silently judged their words. The lack of trust Brightpaw had was a little concerning, but she appeared to be willing to try to get to know the others which was good enough for the ginger warrior. Newtheart's dedication to the apprentice was also admirable, and he appeared to be determined to help. "Alright, but this is your only chance. You can't go running off every time someone goes missing, it happens too much to keep track of. We also currently have an apprentice named Brightpaw, so you'll probably have to take a different name." The last part was directed at the apprentice and she waited a moment to see her reaction before motioning to them to follow her into camp.

padding back into camp, sleethound swiftly made his way over to buckbranch. as he neared, his steps became a bit more calculated and eyes became a bit more narrowed. still, he gave a curt dip of his head in a greeting. "everything's well at the windclan border, nothing very exciting happened. a windclan patrol passed by but didn't cause any trouble. a birds nest fell from one of the trees and we decided to take it since some of the eggs weren't broken, sparrowflight should be dropping it off soon."

Coming into camp right after going to Muskrat mire, the tom had the mouse he caught in his jaws. His fur was still spiked after the run in with that creepy sound of a branch crackling. "Buckbranch! My mentor didn't show up, so I went to muskrat mire myself. I made sure to watch out for rats. I didn't catch much due to getting frightened. I caught the clan a mouse!", he meowed, dropping it down in front of the old leader. In his blind eyes you could see that he was proud of the catch. His fur was now lying flat.

Buckbranch glanced up from grooming himself, started to nod, and then did a double-take, eyes flying wide. "By yourself? Goodness, Possumpaw, that's incredibly dangerous! I mean- great job on the catch, that's fantastic, and I'm sure someone will enjoy that. Just be careful next time, all right?"

Generally Ridgeclaw would pitch a fit if anyone came in and disturbed him sleeping, even his own apprentice, but this time was different. The elder had been shifting in his nest for awhile disturbed by nightmares of the fires he lived through until Sparrowflight came in and he woke with a jolt. The grizzled tom looked around wildly for a moment, fur spiking in aimless agression before he relaxed just.. taking in the soothing sound of his apprentice talking as his racing heart calmed getting back in touch with reality. There wasnt a fire. The clan wasnt once more running for their life as the territory they called home turned against them. They were fine..... For now at least and as fine as they could be taken over by shadowclan.


Tattered ears twitched at the noises the tom leaning over to bump a large shoulder against Sparrowflight in greeting as he turned to survey the apprentice in his den a huff emerging from his maw as he did.
"Youve disturbed little Sparrowflight, my dreams are unsteady of late with the turmoil of the clan. There are some holes you can take a look at though that no one will miss, I near fell through the wall yesterday with the wind."

No need to mention he nearly fell because of his missing leg and increasingly unsteady gait with his aching limbs, he wasnt out to embarres himself though his apprentice probably already knew.
"Now let me get a look at you young one." The elder snorted at the small mollys comment "I dont know or care who your parent is kitling, its you whos important. You seem well enough and let me give you some wisdom from an elder, its your mentor that matters more then your parents and I dare say you got a good one, work hard and kin wont matter. I mean Im mainly remembered for my students not my kits though I love them dearly so thats evidence of that. Tell me about you spike, who's Sparrowflights new apprentice really?"
