@Naiad Tornclaw ran into the warriors' den. "I want to DO something, Newtheart! I feel great!" Tornclaw had always liked Newtheart's prescence, and wanted to find something to do with them.

Giving a nod to Beastflame, Cindersky glanced around for her apprentice. Surely she had heard the call, right? Hopefully she was not out of camp on her own, something that the senior warrior would likely have to punish if discovered since apprentices were not normally allowed outside of camp on their own. Her blue eyes shifted around the clearing as she waited patiently. "If Cloudypaw does not show, we will still go mark the border." Her head bobbed to give a nod to Beastflame. Concern for her apprentice melted a bit as she considered other possibilities; being in the medicine den, sleeping in the apprentices den. Preferrably not out out in the territory.

Cloudypaw heard her name called from the clearing, and rolled onto her belly. Her leg was extra stiff today, and she had had a sleepless night. After finding Rainpaw out on the territory the day before, almost dead, Cloudypaw had carried her back and then sat outside the medicine cat's den. Her whiskers trembled as the groggy apprentice stood, her leg hurting like hell.

Clenching her jaw, she hobbled out of the den, and pricked her ears. ShadowClan border. Damn it, she had already been there. Last night. With her severely wounded sister. Sighing, she limped to where Beastflame and Cindersky stood, and paused to study the tomcat before nodding and looking to Cindersky. "Sorry I'm late." She said softly.

Even though she knew they wouldn't berate her too bad, she still gave Beastflame a suspicious glare. Was he the type that yelled and hit apprentices?

+ Littlefang suddenly jumps out of a bush near Thunderclan camp. He looked more scrawny than he already was, and his fur was obviously not being taken care of like before. His body was as stiff as a board after he walked closer to the entrance of camp— He didn't look hurt in any way, just extremely awkward. He stood still halfway inside, and as much as he wanted to just run to the warrior's den and pretend nothing happened, he spoke softly, but loud enough to be heard by a handful of cats. " Erm— Sorry i've been gone. "

The large tom rocking back and forth, weighing on his paws and quietly humming for himself while with a smile on his face gazing up in the sky, counting birds while waiting for Cloudypaw. He looked back down and towards Cidersky as she spoke. Not show up? Beastflame didn't really feel like just going by himself. He could do it, but some company would have been nice. Especially younger cats seemed to have a lot of energy to keep the mood light (something Beastflame would always like, but even more so in these days), or at least be fun to be around.

But then a white and grey fluffball left the apprentices' den and came their way. The russet tom crouched down, peering at Cloudypaw as if he was examining them closely, before lighting up in a grin and standing up. "Looks all alive to me!" If all little hurt... He mewed towards Cindersky before flicking his tail, signaling the apprentice to follow him. "Lets get going then, shall we?"

Cherrypaw purred and smiled at the kit. "Sure!" she meowed.

Something was amiss with Cloudypaw. Cindersky could sense it in the air like rain as the she-cat hobbled over to where she stood with Beastflame. She gave an acknowledging flick of her ear to his chortled response but kept her gaze locked onto her apprentices. She caught the glare tossed the warriors way but spoke nothing of it. Instead, a silent question in her eyes of what had happened directed at Cloudypaw. "Yes," she responded to Beastflame, taking the head of the patrol and leading the group out of camp.

Finkit

finkit sucked in a startled gasp as he felt the other cat brush his side with their tail, a small jester of kindness and affection that he never received as a younger kit nor did he expect the kind words from a complete stranger. Can I trust them? no I can’t! I’ll just get betrayed again! shrinking back away from the kind jesters and kind words he bared his teeth in defiance “ why?! Just stop...it hurts! I can take care of myself like I always have been! I don’t need anyones sympathy or pity I DONT NEED IT!” But his eyes betrayed him. Showing fear and sadness but also confusion and conflicted emotions. Why? his small dark furred body trembled in horror as the image before him seamed to shift and change, instead of the kind cat before him. Now stood his mother, looming above him with outstretched claws bearing down on his with harsh words and statements. Confusing the sight before him he threw himself down trying to make himself smaller than he was as he pleaded in hushed tones for forgiveness. He was scared. Confused. And worst of all fighting against himself not to lash out at the image of his mother. His heart rate quickend as did his breathing until the young tom was left wheezing on the ground eventually collapsing onto the ground as he struggled to breathe. His green eyes widened in terror as he kicked frantically at the air.
