Mantispaw wouldn't just let that slide. "Well I spent most of my time as a kit isolated in the plague camp away from my mother and my siblings." She said to the warrior. But the second it left her mouth, it stung. "I-Im sorry. I didn't mean it."

She turned her head away in shame. But then there, a bush with kinda blue berries! She scurried over to the bush in pure excitement. "Hey! Guys I think I found juniper!" @Shystar @kittycatburmise [her thoughts are not my own!]

Mallowswarm

Mallowswarm's ear flicked at Mantispaw's words, the annoyance in the apprentice's tone mirroring her own. It made her feel slightly better that she wasn't the only one who was irritated, but still, Mantispaw had a proper reason for it. She had spent the last moons of her kithood in the quarantine camp, a place shrouded with death and misery. Mallowswarm, on the other paw, had spent it in the nursery, sheltered from the crueler truths of life. She had no reason to feel this way.

Mallowswarm pushed the thoughts away as she collected the poppies. Darkfeather had joined her, she noticed; she must be looking to see if there were any more around. There weren't, not that she could see anyway, but maybe the other warrior would find something that she had missed. However, it was not Darkfeather but Mantispaw's voice that rang through the air, saying she had found juniper. Poppies still clamped in her jaws, Mallowswarm made her way over to the apprentice. The bush she was looking at fit the descriptions Wolfhawk had given them: sharp leaves framing the bluish berries that adorned the bush. She carefully laid the poppies at her paws before picking three, making sure not to cut herself. She would have collected more, but she didn't think she could carry any more. Even now it would be hard to handle them all without damaging anything.

Sweetpaw raced out of camp to the terriory. She was ready to show Boulderspots how she could fight. @Purely_K2

Boulderspots led Sweetpaw to a clearing and sat down. "Ok, do you want to train or spar?" He was open for either, though he hoped they would say they wanted a sparring match, he needed a good workout.

The young apprentice flicked her tail. "How about a simple battle without claws?" Sweetpaw asked. @Purely_K2

"Naturally." Boulderspots whiskers twitched with amusement as he readied himself, preparing for the apprentice to lunge at him.

Sweetpaw sized up her opponent as she got into battle stance. She put her legs apart and locked her eeys on Boulderspots. She then lunger pining him down with all her weight. @Purely_K2

Boulderspots dodged the apprentices attempt to knock him down. "You should never expect your opponent to not be ready for you." He commented as he swung his forepaw in an attempt to knock the apprentice off balance.

Sweetypaw ducked in time dodging the attack. She leaped again attempting to pin down Boulderspots. @Purely_K2

The apprentice's paws hit Boulderspots in the side, but he maintained his balance and pushed back, disallowing them from knocking him over. "You're not going to beat me with weight, use technique. Find a way to get around me." He saw the apprentice had quite a bit they needed to work on, so he figured he would teach her what he could while sparring.
