It was still difficult, even moons later, for Cindersky to come into the nursery. To see all of the kits and queens, and allow her mind to think of what things could have been like... Nostalgia for a future that had not even started before it was shredded by her sister. Her sister who was now missing and StarClan knows where. But that was something else to dwell on.

Her sharp blue eyes had caught movement in camp, and for some reason no warrior had thought to stop an outsider coming in? Quickly she moved into the nursery and threw herself in between the stranger and the queens and kits, snarling and lashing out with her claw to strike him across the face. "I do not know how you made it into camp without being spotted, but I am only going to tell you this once; get out." Fur bristling and tail bushed up, she advanced on the stranger with a growl rumbling in her throat.

Tom laughed, and tried to claw Cindersky's eyes. I'm not scared of you. I'm going to kill every last kit in here to make up for the pain I have experienced. His eyes glowed with sadness at the thought of his kit who died.

It was easy enough to duck the uncoordinated attacks of the stranger, just as it was to shoot forward with her claws outstretched in an attempt to bowl him over and pin him underneath her. Luckily they were still near the entrance so if she was successful she would at least get him out of the nursery and away from the kits and queens. "Attacking and killing kits is not going to take away any of that pain," she hissed as she fought to try to pin him to the ground.

He got pinned by her, and glared at her. Yes it will. Its not fair that they get to keep there kits and I have no one! He tried to bite her neck, getting out of her grip he tried to jump on her back.

Teeth sunken into a nice squirrel, Cinderpaw resisted biting any further down as her mouth watered. Might as well do something nice today, right? Well, it seemed as if the devil was tempting her. because hell was it hard not taking a bite out of the prey before she could give it to a queen or a couple older kits in need.

The sight of two cats dueling just outside, however, nearly paused her in her tracks. The tom was unfamiliar, but the molly fighting him was all too recognizable - Cindersky.

Part of the apprentice willed her to leave, let the warrior deal with it herself. The apprentices did enough hauling ass for their clan anyways, after all. But the rogue's mutterings about bringing harm to the kits no doubt pblivious within the nursery set something within her off. Cinderpaw seemed to see red as she dropped the mouse from her jaws and wasted no time in pouncing towards the tom, aiming to land on his back and hook her claws in. Just as Sleethound had taught her.

The warrior felt teeth graze her neck just before she snatched it away. Droplets of blood bubbled up as Cindersky slid back, a snarl coming from her. Just as she went back to counterattack she saw Cinderpaw hurtle herself at the warrior in full speed. Despite the flicker of pride, the senior warrior allowed not a single second to be wasted and made a dive for the stranger's legs, claws slashing downwards to hook onto his chest as Cinderpaw went for his back.

Cinderpaw almost didn't get up when she was called for a patrol. She was sick of working her ass off to impress those who didn't care if she lived or died. She was sick of a lot of things, actually, but that was one of the highest items on her list. Her and Cindersky's argument had drained a lot of her fight out of her, the older cat's neutral expression staying seared into her brain. They didn't care. They really never cared.

Even still, she was never one to wilt away. So begrudgingly, Cinderpaw dragged herself out of her nest. Her nose scrunched at the idea of having to go anywhere closer to Shadowclan territory - Their stench already permeated her nostrils on the daily, she didn't need it to get any stronger - but she supposed she might as well get it over with. Who's to know what not doing her patrol would get her? A lot of cats here had decided that dead apprentices were better than disobedient ones.

She padded past Jaystride, not giving the warrior a second glance. "Get a move on." She muttered, making a beeline towards the entrance of camp without even waiting for Violetshadow. If Jaystride wanted to wait for his peer, he was more than welcome to - they knew where to go. But she wasn't making herself wait a second more for anyone.

The pretty she-cat had just padded into the camp stiffly, she hardly returned to camp now that Shadow'clan had made their way into her home. She spent most of her time in the territory doing her best for the clan. Being called out for a patrol as soon as she returned she just nodded her head and walked towards Jaystride and Cinderpaw. "Let's get this patrol going then." she mewed plainly turning to scan the camp with her tail twitching before she looked back to her patrol mates her her deep blue eyes bore into them ready to go. The thought of Shadow'clan alone ticked the she-cat off though she refused to show any outward emotion towards the situation she hated that they were in her camp stinking up the place.

Lotuspaw skidded into the apprentice's den, a goofy grin on their face as they carried a withered leaf. They practically dove into their nest, purring in satisfaction.
