Doepaw pressed her still shaking body against Pinepuff's, drawing comfort from the warm and larger warrior who reminded her much of her very comforting and gentle mentor Flintspirit. And so when Lionwhisker called out she took a small step forward, still pressing her slight body against Pinepuff's to have a feeling of where everything was. It was all so disorientating, the only scent being the metallic smell of the blood that blocked her nose and the taste of it as it dripped down her muzzle still. Slowly she took another step, her tail curling around Pinepuff's leg to have an idea of where she was still. "Fell...out...of...a... tree," her voice was barely louder than a whisper. "Because....woodpecker... attacked." That was it, she had done her best to explain to what had happened. And she then slowly laid down on the soft ground inside the medicine cat den, her head still shaking from side to side and the blood still dripping down her nose in drip, drop, drip, drop patterns.

Cormorantpaw smiled, feeling a bit rejuvenated still from his time with his siblings and nodded, sounds great, Buckbranch!” The young tom’s smile faltered, though, as the excitement and tentative happiness he’d started feeling began to hurt. He wasn’t sure why the emotions made his chest hurt, but he didn’t like it. It made him want to cry. Cormorantpaw pushes it all down and nodded to Buckbranch as a way to say he was ready.

Nightkit looked at her new possible friend “I’ll be right back soon, I need to go talk with Duskstar about something important, I’ll be back soon hopefully.” She mewed, walking out of The nursery @wolfnight

Nightkit hesitantly came into the leader’s den, her entire body shaking, I have to at least ask. I’m not a burden and I need to prove it. she took a deep breath “Duskstar I need to talk to you about something very important.”

"Because," he growled, "you're..." You're being too nice to me, he wanted to say. "What games are you trying to play here?" he went on, trying to sound angry, but ended up being more confused than anything.

Smokekit flicked an ear. "I'm what?" She mewed when he didn't finish his sentence. "None." She honestly answered, also being confused. Does he think it's weird I'm nice to him or something? Probably not a lot of people are nice to him because he usually isn't.

He blinked again, not sure how to word his next question. "If you're not messing with me, then... What are you doing?" He flicked his tail, almost anxiously. "I don't... Don't you have some sort of... Motive?" Why was it bothering him, all of a sudden? Why was she still talking to him?
